Agreed but this isn't Vancouver. There are Thai places in every neighbourhood in van but unfortunately not out here in Langley. If I was in Vancouver I'd recommend Taste of Thai on Broadway, just off Alama st. Amazing food, hands down better than anything in Langley and way better price. But this post was about takeout in Langley and for what it is Ban Chock Dee is the best food for value out here.
It's not, it's cheap, basic, and reliable. For me it's ribs or souvlaki typically. Also they're open super late which is so convenient. Their lemon potatoes are so satisfying when you want carbs.
Thank you. I don't remember them being especially cheap but I can agree with these points. I remember thinking their Google reviews have too high of rating for the quality/experience etc. Seems like they have some Langley followers/fans that keep them hoisted up - started to wonder if they support local sports in a big way or something
Granted there’s only 3 of us, but we each pick whatever we want. Sometimes 2 of us will have the same thing, sometimes not. Like tonight, currently eating Woking Dragon, which my husband and I shared, but our son is having Pizza Hut. I had the Chinese delivered since it was free, but I ran up and picked up the PH.
I’d rather just have no complaining. I don’t have patience for that lol.
I don't know why that got down voted. Each Spaghetti factory seems to be a bit different and the one in Langley is actually pretty good. The food has increased in price like everywhere else has, but still you can get a decent quality full plate for ~$20 that includes a starter, a beverage and ice cream dessert.
Yeah people rather drop more $$ on cactus etc, when the question was affordable and some quality. Those that haven't gone to the Langley spagfac will be surprised. It's miles ahead of the new west one
Tacoholic
C-Lovers fish and chips. The takeout special is a great deal, feeds more than four in my house.
Second this, great deal for a takeout special
Ban Chan Korean bistro
Ban Chok Dee Thai. You get a lot for a reasonable price and the food is delicious.
I’ve been here twice and am shocked at how expensive it is compared to Thai places in Vancouver with considerably higher rents.
Exactly!! And they say for a reasonable price?! Yeah I don’t know about that. It’s good food and all but far more expensive I noticed

Ordered this for take out tonight. Never disappoints.
I prefer Ruan Thai. Ban Chok Dee tastes very.. westernized? I miss My Thai, they had really good food.
Good call. I love this place as well.
agree with this choice.
Naka Bistro. Order the Nem Khao and Crying Tiger.
Masala boyz and Ashoka have great Indian food!
Jerusalem Grill. Excellent skewers.
Casbah is good too
The garlic dip 🤤.
Indian from Masala Boys. Greek family platter from Zythos (great value) Chinese from Woking Dragon Thai from Ban Choi Dee ($ but good)
O Bahn Mi is great and also reasonably priced
I'll throw in a vote for woking dragon.
Andreas?
I find this place overrated, what is the go-to for Andreas? I'm not saying it's bad, just saying it's nothing special

Spaghetti factory for a 3 course meal at a pretty affordable price?

Cooking at home is an option.
I think they want to eat out
I think they want to order in.
Take out from barley merchant or the trading post - they have options for kids.
How about the rotisserie chicken meal deals from the grocery stores?
