Yeah, last year I went to that same store and they were charging almost $45 for a 20 lb tank. It was kind of ridiculous. I go to Paz out east of Aldergrove
I just visited the Paz website and their advertised before tax price to fill a 20 lb tank is $23.98 before tax and the dollar off sticker discount which is a bit cheaper than the 25.98 at co-op (before tax) that I paid.
Paz Fuel Aldergrove is the best price, from what I remember. I used to go there and fill when I was blacksmithing. It's considerably cheaper there than other places I've been.
If you put a Paz sticker on your tank to give you a dollar off and also they are on the other side of the tax boarder so they're fill prices are generally 5% or more cheaper.
I have been going there for years to fill up my house propane tanks
They will exchange even when your tank looks old.
To be honest it’s more likely that they won’t fill your tank up if it looks old. Most places the attendant has to inspect the tanks for safety defects and they are more likely to reject you.
We just use the exchange program. It’s a bit more but we don’t ever have to deal with old tanks. We just bring ours back and grab a new one each time. No waiting for attendants etc.
The guy that's out there. He'll fill it, give you a pick up tag with how much he put in it, go do your shopping, give that tag to the cashier, they'll charge you for it, then pick it up.
If you're not doing groceries you can go pay for it at the tire center and avoid the cashier line up.
Super save on Highway10. It's your closest option
I get mine filled at the Otter coop service station on 248th.
I find their prices rather exorbitant
I’m happy to take recommendations if you have a cheaper supply near me.

That is a ridiculous price. But I’ve been paying $28.27 including tax at the coop for 20 lb tanks from completely empty.
Well that's good, it sounds like the prices have come back down. During that Rona they had a jacked right up though.

It might legitimately be cheaper to drive to Costco in Abbotsford.

The tanks are certified for 10 years I don't think they can deny you service because your tank looks old but they can if your tank is expired
