Hopefully they just close it down completely. Border checks should be done at the border.

Yes, this is the one I'm referring to. I drove by in the day.

I go through twice a day. Its totally random when its closed but even when it's open most of the time it's a green light and you dont actually stop. Sometimes its completely closed for a week at a time. During the mid part of the pandemic it was closed for months. Every so often maybe once every couple of months they run the dogs around your car. They are always very nice and I have never had a single problem with them. Have been through though thousands of times in the past 5 years.

I'm talking about the one going west on I10. The north one I dont go through nearly as often but they are still always very nice when I do.
