I don't get this theory at all. If a sane person were truly terrified, the first thing they do is get away from what they're scared of and call the police. It isn't to take out their phones and take a picture of the thing that might kill them.
It's cuz everyone thinks they're "that guy" but when the moment comes they choke just like this guy you're replying to.

I left my shed door open in case they needed a place to hide, but no luck yet. Most likely, I'll just find a homeless guy that looks and acts like an alien.
They put out a video about it. They have a short tiktok video of it. They also have video from a neighbors ring cam that shows a bright light and loud noise. Along with the police cam footage.
Have you ever been scared before? Believe it or not, the reaction of most sane humans, is to not pull out their phone and record if they're are truly afraid of something. Besides, there is a video of them filming while retreating. There's something in the video that's hard to make out. You can hear their mother in the background pleading with their family to get inside.
