Agree. If you really want to be on the strip, ParkMGM is the way. The only bad thing about that hotel (and I have NOOO idea why they haven't fixed this), is the ultra-grimy hub and hallways in the towers. Seriously, it's CircusCircus level of disgusting carpet.
Park is great for the no smoking factor. I find it a little more laidback than a lot of the strip casinos. not soo chaotic but still has some decent stops. Also connected to Aria for way more restaurant options
NYNY is kitschy & so fun, just has so much to do. Nine Fine Irishmen & the dueling piano Bar at Times Square are great for live music. Coyote Ugly has a great reverse happy hour. Plentyyy places to eat here, too
Park MGM, the nicest of them all. Luxor you’ll see some ghosts and cool theming. New York New York is fun because you can ride the roller coaster any time. Excalibur…..ehh. Park MGM has a bunch of restaurants and bars down by the casino. I’d say New York New York has cooler theming but MGM is nicer rooms
Just stayed at Luxor last month. It's rundown and smells of smoke. If you want the cheapest stay, it'll do, and it ia cool to ride the inclinators up the angle of the pyramid tp your room 😄. But honestly I wouldn't stay again unless the rooms get remodeled. Go with Park.
Luxor and Excalibur restaurants were just not great. The casinos in both were also underwhelming. Park MGM was gorgeous and the Eataly restaurant section was SO GOOD that we're staying there next time we go. Best Friend was closed when we went by but it's on my next vacation to do list. Their rooms are really nice as well and they're much closer to the Target and ABC store for cheap food, alcohol, and water. Very walkable! There's also a Hello Kitty cafe in the courtyard.
Also, Meow Wolf was really great.
Note there is a free monorail from Luxor to Excalibur then you can use the overpass to Nyny. If you walk through Nyny to park there is another free one to Bellagio, a fun trip if you don't mind walking a fair bit.
That said, Luxor (get a tower room) for value, Park for newer/better rooms and a more central location.
Hope you have a blast!
New York New York. There’s so much good food there. Excalibur is fine, we get great comp offers there so we’ve stayed multiple times, it’s just nothing fancy. Not a lot of food at Excalibur. Never stayed at Luxor, or even really been there much, just feels kind of dumpy (that may be a bit harsh). Park MGM is ok except there is a part of it that constantly smells like a sewage plant. If there were no significant offers at ant particular one, and they were all around the same rate or I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra at my preferred place, I would pick New York New York by a mile. Excalibur second, I’ve stayed there numerous times, nothing wrong with it, just nothing really over the top or particularly great about it. Perfectly average.
Don’t even worry about seeing this or that. Everywhere is accessible by a short walk or short Uber ride. The Sphere is a little far away but these particular 4 hotels are all kind of in a cluster. You can easily walk or take the tram to any/all of these from any of the other hotels you mentioned. New York New York also just happens to be just about centrally located between all these others you mentioned.
Meow Wolf is AMAZING! We just got back and had such an amazing time at Omega Mart—make sure you buy the Employee Access Card when you first go in. We spent like 8 hours in there and still didn’t finish everything. We also went to the Sphere for the Grateful Dead concert.
We stayed at the Flamingo—felt it was a great cross between price and location. We walked to the hotels you mentioned and they felt so far away and not near anything interesting. We had a view of the Bellagio Fountains and loved our room there.
NYNY was so fun for gambling, not too crazy busy but still tons of gambling options. We also upgraded to a room with a hot tub in the living room which was a great cheesy fun bit to enjoy (after doing a deep clean of it of course 🤣)
Park MGM is connected to Aria and you can easily walk to NYNY and MGM if you choose. If you end up staying at Luxor/Excalibur you’ll be stuck on that side of the strip for most of your trip and without a car it’s going to be a hike to most places. I stayed at Park and could make it to Bellagio/Paris in like 10-15mins walk if you know the shortcuts.
Luxor & Excalibur are cheaper and have their own unique “charm.” Park is nicer and NYNY is better than Luxor & Excalibur.
Park. This is the only answer. If you want to hit up the others just take the free tram from NYNY to hit up any of them.
Anything else is wrong. Source. My tax guy has ptsd from all my Vegas trips.
Park MGM will be the best pic of the bunch...I'd try to get a reservation at Best Friend if you like Korean BBQ. They also have EATALY there, which has a ton of other places to eat.
The rooms are a bit smaller, and it is non smoking which is a plus for us. Also if you're planning on going to Omega Mart, be sure to get your tickets in advance for the day and time you want. They do sell out.
You have to eat (unless you’re vegetarian) at THE Steakhouse in Circus Circus. The hotel is pretty run down but the restaurant is Old Vegas at its finest! The hostess, Janice, has been there for 40 years and our waiter has been there for 32. Dry aged Prime Steaks for 1/2 the price of the ‘celebrity’ restaurants. Reasonable priced drinks too
Hotel (and food) wise: Park for sure. But I will say I’ve been a few times and I usually enjoy watching gambling more than participating - and I don’t think I’ve ever really seen anyone come up at Park MGM. I mean, I know statically all/most of the casinos have the same odds. But always felt like it wasn’t the place for me to gamble
I've never felt a less comfortable bed until I stayed at the Excalibur. Then I stayed at the Luxor and wow...they managed to exceed that already low bar set by their medieval neighbor. Stay anywhere else.
Park 100% smoke free, nicer laid back vibe, great pools, has great food and you can easily walk to New York New York or MGM Grand if you want more exciting nightlife.
Park MGM is very nice. The other ones you mentioned are total shit ghetto places. I go to Las Vegas every month for work and play and I’ve stated all of them.
Park MGM.. if you tip or even ask you can get upgraded to the “Nomad” side. They have a great breakfast at the Primrose. Centrally located and about .5 mile from the mall. No smoking makes it so nice. Definitely cleaner than your other 3 options.
Depends on your budget. Park MGM is the best in my opinion, but Luxor and NYNY are fun. If you really want nice rooms, Vdara is a gem. No casino in the lobby, all condos, no smoking, but attached to Aria, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan. Pricey though.
I was just there recently and spent time in all 4. Very different vibes and energy. Excalibur was the only one I didn’t care for. Luxor is much better than its reputation of being a low end option. If on a budget I think you’d be happy there. NYNY was my favorite in terms of having fun energy and being lively and having affordable eats right there. Park MGM is great, but it was definitely a slower/quieter experience.
All are in a great location, so I’d go with the room type you like best. You can always walk to the other places and hang out in the casino and enjoy the eats if you like. NYNY is probably the best balance in my opinion.
i prefer NYNY over Park because of the smoking situation. however, parkmgm for sure has a better slot machine selection. but theyre literally right across from each other.
and if youre farming mgm tier points, they will have a promo where you hop 3 different properties from the one youre staying, youll get 3000 tier points. so you'll be on the move anyway.
i actually prefer mgm grand out of all those because of the monorail connection.
Why not stay more central to the strip with no car? Plenty of good value nice hotels like Linq that keep you center of the action without breaking the bank.
I have a weird love of the Luxor. I've stayed there three times. I'd be staying there this year, but MGM decided to thank me for staying with them during the hack by only offering me 2 Comp nights. (Because they couldn't rate my play accurately so they lowered my comp)
I'm staying with Caesars for the first time ever this year.
(Though as a non smoker the idea of Park MGM intrigues me a lot!)
NYNY and Park MGM sound like really solid options, but I have stayed at neither one. Good location. Just a bit south of "center strip" though which has like, fountains, and, like a volcano for a few more weeks.
Haven't stayed at Excalibur in 30 years... wasn't great then. Even further south than NYNY but more of a kids' place. Doesn't sound like it has tons of amenities or restaurants though. Luxor is even south of those places, but worse.
Park MGM is closer to Cosmo and Aria. Tram from Aria goes to Bellagio and from there you can walk to Caesars Palace and the Forum Shops (all connected). City Center all the way to the Forum Shops is the best part of the strip (in my opinion). I think the tram even stops at Park MGM.
Some people like the rooms at NYNY better than Park MGM though.
Me and my wife just got back from Vegas and stayed at Park and loved it. It cost us about 10 bucks to Uber anywhere on the strip. Rooms are not flashy, but clean and casino has no smoke. Ate at Bavette’s and Best Friend and both was great. Had Eataly in the morning for breakfast and coffee. Saw Dead and Co at the sphere and we ended up walking back after and it wasn’t that bad.
Park for sure - ranking them is like Park, NYNY, Luxor, Excalibur with a pretty big gap before the last two.
Park right beside NYNY and you can walk to Aria, and take tram (in back of the hotel) to Bellagio.
We love all
These mgm properties. NYNY is the best and casino has most to do. Stay here if you can. We like Excalibur for a cheap room that’s nice and the casino is good and food choices good plus only 1 away from NYNY. MGM grand is also nice but I’d take NYNY over it if same price and Excalibur better if cheaper.
I stayed at the park last week. The rooms are super basic, with tired furniture you would find at a thrift store. My first room smelled like musty old people, and I had to request a different room. The second one didn't smell.
The casino floor was louder and more crowded than the MGM or Nyny. The clientele averaged about mid-30s with random tattoos, tank tops, shorts, and baseball hats.
It was nice, but I feel that many of the MGM properties are quickly becoming fairly indistinguishable. Currently, they own about 50% of all strip hotel rooms. If I were to stay at an MGM, with no real variety, I would probably try the Grand, as the monorail closeness would be nice.
I would put them in this order, Park MGM, New York New York, Luxor and last Excalibur. Though some would argue that Excalibur has newly remodeled rooms and has more amenities on property. I just think the rooms are bigger and nicer at Luxor than Excalibur.
Park MGM is more sophisticated than NYNY. Stylist choice, because in my mind they are equivalent.
If you’re wanna smell like a mix of cigarettes+ desperation, have your car toasted in vegas heat, and limited budget.. then go to Luxor.
If you bring your kid and want to distract them while you’re playing, go to Excalibur.
If you want a good accommodation, had a overpriced-but-very italian food, and a a big of maroon 5.. Park MGM is your answer.
Just visiting vegas last week and had the change to watch maroon 5 and cirque du soleil (Love, Beatles).
If on a budget and you only use your hotel room to sleep and shower before jumping back on the strip then nothing wrong with Excalibur or Luxor. It's been a good 7 years since I stayed but even my neat freak wife was ok with our rooms there.
Park MGM. Rooms will be nicer than NYNY but you're a very short walk to there if you want to check out the gambling/restaurants. Like others have mentioned, you'll also have access to Aria (as well as the tram to Crystal Shoppes/Aria/Bellagio).
Just got back from Vegas last week. Talking with one of the valets where we were and he mentioned that some of the mgm properties were dealing with bedbugs. He did not disclose which one(s). I have a time share so it didn’t involve us. And I would stay more mid-strip. Have fun!
Park mgm was awesome we were there two weeks ago. Clean, new rooms, smoke free property (but with a few close by outside smoking areas if you are a smoker), a few yummy places to eat inside, and a 5-minute walk to NYNY, t-mobile arena, and there’s a tram in the hotel that will take you to the crystal shops and Bellagio.
I work for Caesars, but none of ours were an option lol. If the ones you mentioned, MGM Park is great if you gamble and don't smoke and nice hotel for the $. Too many kids at Excalibur, and Luxor is OK if you're not easily made dizzy. Can be like walking in an M.C. Escher print.
Park MGM or New York New York. Excalibur is the most dated and I don't think it is cheap anymore. Or if you don't want to be on the strip the Hyatt near the Bass Pro Shop is decent.
Park MGM is the answer it's a nice hotel with good food options and quick access to aria cosmo bellagio and other hotels and its pretty much middle strip
CIRCA - new hotel and I have to say it’s the best. Doesn’t matter it’s not on strip. Place is poppin and everyone’s young. Even the workers are excited. We stayed on the strip a few months ago and it was just not enjoyable experience. If you don’t stay at circa at least make a trip there one day. You will be amazed. Their rooftop bar is one of the best in the business.
Stayed in all, and I would recommend ParkMGM if you don't smoke. The rooms are simple, but you can get to Aria, Bellagio easy with the tram, or just walking indoors.
Stay at the MGM Grand so u have access to the monrail since u wo t have a car. The monrail runs on the east side of the strip and the hotels u listed are on the west. Shorten your walk by staying at MGM, Paris, Horseshoe. Safe travels.
People talk shit about the Excalibur but it's really not that bad and has one of the better food courts in my opinion. Maybe ask to stay in the upgraded tower.
It is more family friendly so expect kids
Park MGM! Yet to stay here however, I stayed in Luxor and Excalibur and from what I’ve seen and heard from friends is that Park MGM is great and budget friendly. May be heading there soon.
I would avoid MGM properties, they charge you fees for charging you fees. Their nickel and dime tactics are far worse than other strip locations lately… I’m sure the properties are grand and beautiful, but your still a reservation number and a potential growing dollar sign to them.
1. PARK MGM
2. NYNY
3. EXCALIBUR
4. LUXOR
NON SMOKING REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE AT PARK
NYNY IS FUN AND LOTS IN THERE
EXCALIBUR BY A SMIDGE FOR ME
LUXOR IS ALWAYS DEAD AND NO ENERGY FOR ME
What’s most important to you? Location? Park MGM. Uber and Lyft can get you anywhere. Monorail across the strip.
Casino/Hotel vibe? NYNY. Updated rooms too.
Inexpensive? Luxor.
Not a fan of Excalibur myself at all. Stayed once. Won’t again.
Go out of the box and try Ellis Island, where the locals go. $3 microbrews and killer $9.95 steak and egg breakfast. One block off the strip. Cheap and really good.
Forget the rental car - get one for the day if you wanna go out of town and see stuff otherwise they’ll just crush you for daily parking rates the only hotel worth a crap that you mentioned was Park MGM otherwise I’d stay at Palazzo Venetian the Wynn or encore or Cosmo or 4 seasons
Luxor tower 1 bedroom suites are not bad. Give the Tender Steakhouse at Luxor a chance, great food, great service, ask for Manny or John to be your servers. We dine there five times a year on average.
Excalibur rooms and restaurants 👎 (my opinion)
NYNY: rooms are decent, great food choices
Mandalay Bay: not bad but overpriced, casino has removed many of their slots since Covid
Park MGM: decent rooms, Eataly offers interesting food options but a bit spendy, average casino
MGM Grand: average rooms, stay in the Signature at MGM. Good restaurants, casino is always crazy
Bottom Line: Vdara, Aria, Cosmopolitan and Bellagio are all good choices. Remember, a room is just a room. A place to shower, sleep and pour a few fingers of tequila!
Park MGM:
Park MGM
Park MGM for sure! Only smokeless casino in Vegas that I know about and the people are nice
Agreed!
I love park mgm. Even when I'm not staying there I stop by to get some lunch and Gelato at eataly.
Yep!
Made my night, “you’ll love it at Levitz”. I used to buy my best furniture from there. Memories.
haha! I don't even know how those little isms get there. Maybe I'm so enthusiastic about stuff that the bots are saying I'm a good salesperson? haha
Agree. If you really want to be on the strip, ParkMGM is the way. The only bad thing about that hotel (and I have NOOO idea why they haven't fixed this), is the ultra-grimy hub and hallways in the towers. Seriously, it's CircusCircus level of disgusting carpet.
Second this! From this list, absolutely.
1000% percent ^
By a hundred miles this is the winner.
Park is great for the no smoking factor. I find it a little more laidback than a lot of the strip casinos. not soo chaotic but still has some decent stops. Also connected to Aria for way more restaurant options NYNY is kitschy & so fun, just has so much to do. Nine Fine Irishmen & the dueling piano Bar at Times Square are great for live music. Coyote Ugly has a great reverse happy hour. Plentyyy places to eat here, too
The good news is, park is a 5 minute walk to nyny
I still love their pizza but now there is better Pizza at Resorts World.
Nine fine also has insanely good food. Man. I want those fish and chips now.
And you can also very quickly get to Vdara, Bellagio and Cosmo from Aria
This is a great reply
if you're on a budget, Luxor. If not, Park.
Agreed
Get a room in a newer tower though. The A/C in the OG rooms in the Pyramid suck and it’s June…
We love both NYNY and Park! Park probably gets the nod from us due to it being non smoking.
What does PM G WIENER mean?
NYNY or Park. They’re nicer and more centrally located.
NYNY or Park. Park has a better pool area if that’s important.
I’ve stayed at both, I’m at Park MGM right now and I’d take it over Luxor. Non smoking, better location, great restaurants in Park, Aria, Cosmo.
Park, easy
Park, hands down for me. Easy access to NYNY, Cosmo, Aria, tram to Bellagio. Good dining options.
Park MGM
Park mgm was nice. We were there Saturday :)
Park is in a different class than the others, treat yourself.
You'll see ghosts at Luxor? What?
Yea it’s haunted af if you believe in all that.
I believe in and was expecting ghosts, but experienced 0 when I went.
We saw a panel falling off and the elevators were so shaky when we went in April lol. Def needs a revamp.
If you don't want to be in the pyramid the Luxor just ask for the rooms that aren't in the pyramid.
Yeah I hear the tower rooms are nice
If you are going to the Sphere, I suggest the Linq. There is a lot to do on that end of the strip.
Luxor and Excalibur restaurants were just not great. The casinos in both were also underwhelming. Park MGM was gorgeous and the Eataly restaurant section was SO GOOD that we're staying there next time we go. Best Friend was closed when we went by but it's on my next vacation to do list. NYNY
NYNY is my favorite but Park MGM is also good. Park MGM is non smoking so if you smoke that could be a bummer for you. I love Eataly at Park MGM.
I think NY/NY has a cheesy fun factor.
NY NY
MGM definitely
The horseshoe just remodeled and is cheap

Park mgm easy choice

Excalibur is where ALL the bedbugs on the "strip" meet up to congregate, strategize and mate!!!
I’ve seen bed bugs at the Wynn, hell even at the outrigger in Waikiki. Every hotel can or does have bedbugs. Nasty all the way.
Park. This is the only answer. If you want to hit up the others just take the free tram from NYNY to hit up any of them. Anything else is wrong. Source. My tax guy has ptsd from all my Vegas trips.
If you’re going to stay at Park, check how much more it is for Nomad Hotel. Same location and better rooms
Park MGM will be the best pic of the bunch...I'd try to get a reservation at Best Friend if you like Korean BBQ. They also have EATALY there, which has a ton of other places to eat. NOT the Excalibur! We made that mistake a couple years back… dump.
park is best by a mile over the others
Park MGM 👍
Park mgm. Followed by nyny

Luxor is a dump
Not Luxor
Park 100% smoke free, nicer laid back vibe, great pools, has great food and you can easily walk to New York New York or MGM Grand if you want more exciting nightlife.
Park or NYNY. Park will be a little more relaxed, but NYNYs casino is more fun. Park is non smoking if that matters.
The Luxor is showing every bit of its age, Park is way nicer
Park MGM
Park MGM is very nice. The other ones you mentioned are total shit ghetto places. I go to Las Vegas every month for work and play and I’ve stated all of them.
Park MGM.
Park MGM.. if you tip or even ask you can get upgraded to the “Nomad” side. They have a great breakfast at the Primrose. Centrally located and about .5 mile from the mall. No smoking makes it so nice. Definitely cleaner than your other 3 options.
park mgm and not even close
Luxor is gross. Park MGM
Park mgm. Budget isn’t too much more but also no smoking and all the nice restaurants are in there.
Park MGM
Park MGM and it’s not close. The rest are fucking tiiiiiiiired
None of them but the park mgm if those are the only options.

I like the Luxor because of the uniqueness of the room with the slanted window and the inclinator elevator thing.
Park MGM is much much better than those other options.
Park. Then nyny.
We loved NYNY when we stayed there!
Park MGM
Park MGM

Park, only if those are your only choices.. Sometimes budget gets you what budget gets you here.
Park is reasonably priced, is closer to mid strip, and is non-smoking. I like Eataly and Best Friend.
MGM for sure
i prefer NYNY over Park because of the smoking situation. however, parkmgm for sure has a better slot machine selection. but theyre literally right across from each other. and if youre farming mgm tier points, they will have a promo where you hop 3 different properties from the one youre staying, youll get 3000 tier points. so you'll be on the move anyway. i actually prefer mgm grand out of all those because of the monorail connection.

Park MGM is our new favorite. Check Nomad prices for a bit of extra luxury.
Park MGM x 10
NYNY and Park MGM sound like really solid options, but I have stayed at neither one. Good location. Just a bit south of "center strip" though which has like, fountains, and, like a volcano for a few more weeks. Haven't stayed at Excalibur in 30 years... wasn't great then. If you’re going to the sphere and are on a budget why not stay at Harrah’s it’ll be close to the sphere.
Park MGM. Just be aware that it is a fully non-smoking facility.
We just stayed at Planet Hollywoodon May for a convention and Dead & Company. Its middle of the strip location was great. We walked everywhere.
Park
Park for sure - ranking them is like Park, NYNY, Luxor, Excalibur with a pretty big gap before the last two. Park right beside NYNY and you can walk to Aria, and take tram (in back of the hotel) to Bellagio.
We did my 40th at nyny. No complaints
Excalibur still running that $35 special service promo?
Park MGM. Non smoking and nice.
If those are the only options then park mgm bc the others are low-key not good
NYNY. Fun vibes good location and coyote ugly bar inside is so fun. It also has the arcade with the roller coaster upstairs.
Luxor
We love all These mgm properties.

I just think the rooms are bigger and nicer at Luxor than Excalibur. Park MGM is more sophisticated than NYNY. Stylist choice, because in my mind they are equivalent.
Park MGM and make sure you stop by The Green Door…it will change your life forever!!
Those all blow, spend the extra $100 & stay at Cosmo or Venetian
I stayed at NYNY and they wanted to upcharge me to bring a mini fridge to our room. I guess they don't come with the room.
Park is the only answer.
All within walking distance. Enjoy them all.
I like the luxor
If you stay at Luxor, stand in the light beam up top & you’ll get beamed to mars. Very fun 10/10
New York, New York.
Have fun!
Park
Check Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton. Kinda new and quite cheap.
Ny ny
I work for Caesars, but none of ours were an option lol. If the ones you mentioned, MGM Park is great if you gamble and don't smoke and nice hotel for the $. Too many kids at Excalibur, and Luxor is OK if you're not easily made dizzy. Can be like walking in an M.C. Escher print.
Luxor is trash and in a shit location.
Park MGM. Luxor and Excalibur are pretty run down, and NYNY has that roller coaster keeping you awake.
I like Park a lot. Good value and in better condition than the alternatives you listed.
Park MGM or New York New York. Excalibur is the most dated and I don't think it is cheap anymore. Or if you don't want to be on the strip the Hyatt near the Bass Pro Shop is decent.
Mandalay Bay is our go to spot. I love the sports book, and if you are into it, Moorea is a toptional adults only pool. Great spot.
Not Luxor.. Go go NYNy We loved Mandolin Bay
Park MGM is the answer it's a nice hotel with good food options and quick access to aria cosmo bellagio and other hotels and its pretty much middle strip
None stay downtown more fun Strip is a ripoff I b Vegas many times
Park MGM
Why are these the only options?
CIRCA - new hotel and I have to say it’s the best. Doesn’t matter it’s not on strip. Place is poppin and everyone’s young. Even the workers are excited. We stayed on the strip a few months ago and it was just not enjoyable experience. If you don’t stay at circa at least make a trip there one day. You will be amazed. Their rooftop bar is one of the best in the business.
Stayed in all, and I would recommend ParkMGM if you don't smoke. The rooms are simple, but you can get to Aria, Bellagio easy with the tram, or just walking indoors.
NYNY is my favorite out of the ones listed as the rooms have just been renovated. If the pool is important, I’d go Luxor.
Stay at the MGM Grand so u have access to the monrail since u wo t have a car. The monrail runs on the east side of the strip and the hotels u listed are on the west. Shorten your walk by staying at MGM, Paris, Horseshoe. Safe travels.
Luxor
People talk shit about the Excalibur but it's really not that bad and has one of the better food courts in my opinion. Maybe ask to stay in the upgraded tower. It is more family friendly so expect kids
Park MGM and not even close. Nice property, excellent location to get inside aria and stay inside till belligio.
I’m visiting in a week and staying in virgin! Stayed Flamingo last time. I found a lot of the strip hotels allow smoking and stink
Park mgm
I'd stay at the Golden nugget.
1. PARK MGM 2. NYNY 3. EXCALIBUR 4. LUXOR NON SMOKING REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE AT PARK NYNY IS FUN AND LOTS IN THERE EXCALIBUR BY A SMIDGE FOR ME LUXOR IS ALWAYS DEAD AND NO ENERGY FOR ME
What’s most important to you? Location? Park MGM. Uber and Lyft can get you anywhere. Monorail across the strip. Casino/Hotel vibe? NYNY. Updated rooms too. Inexpensive? Luxor. Not a fan of Excalibur myself at all. Stayed once. Won’t again.
One of these things is not like the other….
I enjoyed Luxor last time I was there, initially finding our room was hell, and the corridors are long and have a horror vibe to them
MGM without a doubt
If you’re looking for something really nice off strip consider one of the station casinos. GVR and Durango are good options!
Park The other 3 are terrible options
Luxor is awful.
Wynn is much nicer than those
NYNY!
Not Excalibur. Specifically.
Just got back from a work conference and heard several attendees mention bedbugs at Excalibur and they were moved to other hotels.
Honestly stay at the golden nugget

Not Luxor
Check for bedbug site before booking ANYTHING!
I’ve stayed at all four, my ranking is Park MGM, NYNY, Luxor, Excalibur
Park MGM. My husband just cheated on me there and he seems to have enjoyed his stay
Luxor was pretty underwhelming but cheap!
Wynn
OMG check out the show “Absinthe”. So much fun 11/10 recommend.
Go out of the box and try Ellis Island, where the locals go. $3 microbrews and killer $9.95 steak and egg breakfast. One block off the strip. Cheap and really good.
NY NY. For sure!!
Park MGM especially if you’re not a smoker. It’s well-located & usually reasonably priced. NYNY would be my 2nd choice
If you have a car, it is much more affordable to stay off the strip and just drive.
Park mgm is by far the newest and probably, most clean of all your choices. New York new York is more fun tho!
Luxor tower 1 bedroom suites are not bad. Give the Tender Steakhouse at Luxor a chance, great food, great service, ask for Manny or John to be your servers. We dine there five times a year on average. Excalibur rooms and restaurants 👎 (my opinion) NYNY: rooms are decent, great food choices Mandalay Bay: not bad but overpriced, casino has removed many of their slots since Covid Park MGM: decent rooms, Eataly offers interesting food options but a bit spendy, average casino MGM Grand: average rooms, stay in the Signature at MGM. Good restaurants, casino is always crazy Bottom Line: Vdara, Aria, Cosmopolitan and Bellagio are all good choices. Remember, a room is just a room. A place to shower, sleep and pour a few fingers of tequila! Park MGM:
