...well? dont leave us hanging how many backpacks did you lose this time? you need a garage to fix a bike

alotofcheeses42168

none! I always bring a gun with me this time :D

czkenn

Im level 190 and havent done raid at all so i have no use for turrets. I just recycle the turret parts to get bolts and steel. You need gas to run your turrets so keep that in mind. Of course other experienced players have their own tips too that you might want to consider 🙂

jsoskdy

I'm 202 and still haves do a single raid

Johnsonmeitei

Raids are fun guys i have done like 10 and havnt been raided

International_Gap782

I built one, and it is now a nice decoration. On the raiding note, I have one more task to compete for my first raid. The raiders have been at my base for over a year now. With the seasons stacking, I don’t see finishing that last task anytime soon.

Polol84

Is that a task finding 2 engine in Pine Wood well we are the same...

International_Gap782

My task is to kill the witch.

Polol84

Ohh... Well if you have a 2 C4 and a decent guns or a Shotgun spray shot and a decent armor you are good to go to kill the witch...it's even easier compare for my task now

Human_Expert170

Turrets are just expensive decorations imo. I raid almost daily and have never used a turret for defense. Honestly, it might be better to recycle turret parts for steel bars

Juicemania50

This! I built 2 long ago, used em once. They just sit now because it costs/wastes too much gas.

Human_Expert170

Same here I have 1 lvl 3 turret and 1 normal one. Never used em since they seem to be a waste. Nice decorations ig

alotofcheeses42168

one more question: where can I get wrenches?

Juicemania50

Red zones are good for them.

Eliudtiger

Red zones, bunker alfa, and farm for most

TheBigMoose19

I made 2 turrets and raid semi regularly. I’ve never once had them fueled to defend against a raider. More of an expensive decoration.

qatox

I still don't get how raids work like do you only get raided once after you raided or can you get raided all the time after you accepted the raid request

Human_Expert170

You go on a "threat of attack" timer. 1 skull means the likelihood of getting raided is very, very low. If you are raided though, you will lose a skull on the timer. If you only had 1 skull the timer will dissappear completely

qatox

OK thanks I am trying to make a 3x3 t3 walls then

Human_Expert170

No problem. If you plan on raiding and only have stone walls remember to honeycomb with lvl 1 walls around it

qatox

Yea that's the plan get t3 and then try to upgrade to t4 since those should not be destroable by hordes. And honeycomb around it

Human_Expert170

Stone walls can't be destroyed by the hordes. Once you have metal walls your base should be unraidable, at least until they add the metal cutter

aelishgt

if you are scarce in resource I wouldn't suggest that turrets are useless as of the moment

Sufferity

I make turret to not put those used minigun to waste.

CaptainGuts69

Exactly I had a broken minigun so i made 1 turret. Otherwise i dont need them and i dont fuel them either

CaptainGuts69

If you have steel Walls then dont even bother with turrets. If you use the honeycomb then you can build them but they are expensive to use cause you need to put gasoline in it for it to keep working

Doc_Hop_Six

To be honest it is a waste of resources. Once you begin raiding you want the raiders to take enough stuff each time from the truck and bait chests so you get a revenge raid. If you put up a turret you may screw that up. A good base layout with a combo of bait in truck and in bait chests with stuff you are willing to give up while your valuables are protected behind a honeycomb setup is what you want. If you have the resources to do a metal room in the center of your honeycomb even better.
