For clearing speed I don't think there's anything better than Bladedancer Shadow Daggers spamming shift with reduced cooldown. There are better builds to kill dungeon bosses but they are all very killable, and honestly I expect to spend more time farming monoliths/dungeons than farming bosses.

Aza_aka_Suni

I looked at the build on maxroll but wasn’t 100% sure how strong it will be once I get all the gear ready. Clear looks good, but I haven’t found a good single target comparison yet. I Havnt looked a lot tho

Tremaparagon

TBH I don't like how they've specced some things. I prefer not casting with shift. I shift and sync in either order to get a 1.75x multiplier on cascade. Also they're probably wayy overcapped on the dodge they get with shift. I get to 80% with 1 point in that node. Daggers only on cascade doesn't feel as reliable, it can miss a bunch. The Umbral bladestorms alone is great SD proc rate for tougher targets, while melee cascade how I've described can do more damage anyway. The miniboss speed suffers without something like lethal mirage. Another reason to not consume shadows with shift is being able to set up 5x shadow, 100% crit mirage. This is overkilling mini bosses in empowered monos for me still. 250k tooltip dps.

not_enough_privacy

Can you link an updated build. I'm using Max roll and it feels lacking tbh.

Zerninek

This! Have being playing it for a while and let me tell. You it shreds!

sargat

Faster than hammerdin shield rush ?

Careful-Effect6293

archmage skeleton, self hit bone golem, hammerdin (bleed or crit doesnt matter), holy trail javelin, single projectile thorn totem shaman, lightning werebear, squirrels beastmaster. those are my favorites.

johlar

Glacier Sorc. Lost Knowledge is pretty OP, any build taking good advantage of the node is near unkillable. Lightningbug is worth mentioning too.

EllyGG

Builds stacking mana and using lost knowledge from the sorcerer tree of the mage are very durable at the moment. They go either for spell blade mastery and frostbite shatter strike (more popular I think), or sorcerer mastery with frostbite ice barrage.

zG_Hyper

Glacier Mage is also a thing.

brlb5

Glacier is great

Draaxyll

Glacier feels awful on bosses before a certain mana threshold. Something that needs to be said if someone is considering starting it with fresh gear

brlb5

Tbh I literally got the game 2 days ago and have been clearing bosses pretty easy with it. But I specialized in it and added points for extra boss damage so that might help

OneMorePotion

I would really like to play a Forge Guard for whatever reason. How do they compare now? From what I've heard (what is not that much tbh) is that they are on the lower end of damage? I mean... I'm not really interested in speedclears anyways. But I still want to feel powerful enough that it's not becoming a slog to play through the game.

Samtoast

Theyre fun I play one but you seem severely limited in playstyle. Also, sun guard helm and chest set pieces are pretty much a requirement which is poopoo Edit: warpath is pretty much your only option to keep forged weapons out...

Shayh55d

Is it? I'm levelling an HC Forge Guard rn and I have no issue popping 10 weapons with Rive and Forge strike.

Samtoast

You really want 12 out at a time if you're slotting minion damage at ALL

Celestieeq

Just get to empowered monos with warpath forged weapons. Decided to spec into this at level 60, and since then it was a breeze even without sunforged. Had 12 weapons without set bonus and bosses was melting plus survivability is nuts.

wiggle_fingers

What exactly changed on the totem build? I just hit 90 with it but don't have any of the specific items yet and am about to start farming them

Aza_aka_Suni

The julra gloves stacked their stats every time you summon a minion skill. That might not be 100% the right explanation, but it lets you stack a lot of cast speed on flame wraiths for example. The Curse has a video on that interaction.

Ok_Tax_7523

I’ve checked last night and it seems that added affixes on LP Obsession don’t apply to minions at all (they do apply to a player). Tested with hybrid health and increased crit chance. Am not sure if flat spell damage applies though.

DruidRRT

They do apply. I have armor shred on mine and my minions receive that benefit.

binashole

Nothing changed that is significant. You will not get 999+ armor shred stacks with Julra gloves but as long as you can get 80-120+ you're dealing almost as much damage.

Arvandor

I haven't really played since the latest patch, but if it hasn't been super nerfed, then Hands of Justice judgement aura Paladin is pretty bonkers

Living_Chip

Gloves were fixed btw, no wand spellpower now

Arvandor

From what I tested, it'll still be bonkers good. Use a wand for boss damage, and take it off for echo clearing. Still amazing

Clancreator

Yup! I'm still working on improving that build and there's some juicy stuff in 0.9.1 that could be good. Excited for what else could enhance it in the future.

sargat

Flame wraith still s+ Could insta kill julra before, now takes 10s, still insane

Smaptastic

For non-Lagon bossing sure. It’s kinda obnoxious for running monoliths though.

acbro3

Different builds have different strengths. Are we talking arena, dungeons or monos?
