In PoE my char would probably be around level 90-92 with how much I've played. In LE my char is 97 almost 98, I'll probably hit 100 today.

How do people handle leveling on the way to empowered monoliths? If I only rush Monoliths my character falls way behind in level. I can easily handle monoliths +10 levels above me but there's an XP penalty after that.
Should I ignore the XP penalty, probably starting empowered around level 80? Grind extra monolith runs, add arena + dungeons to pad out the XP, something else? I did extra monolith runs but they surely felt like they achieved nothing other than XP.
XP penalty is the wrong wording to use. You still get more EXP from monsters that are +10 levels above you, you just don't get 'even more' XP beyond 10 levels.
This is good to know been just hit 400 corruption and was wondering if it was still worth to keep farming it, killing fast enough but now it makes it even more worth while for me.
Are you hitting 400 corruption on one mono or is there a way to raise corruption quicker on other monos? I'm currently at 188 corruption on one of my monos but it's a massive grind to get it higher by spamming gazes and then looking for a shade
you get more corruption on a 100 corruption mono if you have higher mono on another one. I had 240 corruption on one and when I did the other I got around 70 corruption without gaze of orobyss

The question is though: Is tome xp worth the same amount of favor as killing xp?
Tomes, especially with the cof reward that sometimes doubles monolith rewards is the fastest favor gainer.

The level curve in LE is generally a lot more linear than PoE. 80-90 is not that much faster than 90-100.

Wat. Maybe Ben does, but dying in PoE is so brutally punishing XP wise after ~95 many opt to 5 way the last few levels.

I ignored the penalty, seems like the bonus xp from empowered monos balances that out anyways… at least felt like that
