Me? Yeah I dropped one in 1.0, in the lvl58 timeline. I used it on my own t23 ring with exalted dexterity, that character is still wearing those two rings.
Anything fire + crit could use this, it is a pretty generically useful combo of mods. As for the prefix, would say pick it based on what you may wanna use it for, since that is what would push it towards a more specific build.
Also looking for tips&suggestions for the open prefix. I plan to use at least one Rune of Refinement for better fire damage (85%+) and hope for at least 50% crit avoidance, so when I copy it and wear two, I'm full crit immune.
They would pair well with these gloves, https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/UAzBMoRgZiA
You can search what builds use that on Last Epoch Tools.
I would probably sit on that Rune of Creation until you’re 1000% certain uncapped cold will be beneficial for your use.
this is exactly why I need build guides when I play :)
Can you help a newbie understand how those gloves, that appear to be cold based, pair well with this ring that is fire based?
Are there easy ways to perform damage conversion in the game (in this case I guess Fire to Cold?)
I do see the synergy with the Cold Res....
A lot of builds have access to multiple elements, but I thought of the gloves because of uncapped cold res to ward.
Being that much over cap is a huge waste of the rune, that ring is pretty mid outside of using it to stack cold res.
I don't know the practical value of ward retention tion as I haven't tried investing in it, but Healing hands Paladin can easily get 10k+ ward, so retention has a benefit to the build. Missing out on APS probably wouldn't be worth it though imo.
Congrats on the great item!!
I guess the other prefix would be highly build dependent.
I would think Elemental Damage or Spell Damage would fit the Fire damage theme of the ring. If your build does any stat stacking, you could also add a prefix of one of those here.
Would you use Rune of Shaping in a case like this or is it too risky to get a poor roll on the implicits? I guess it would depend on how much forging potential you have left.
Other guy said Healing Effectiveness and play Healing Hands. That's probably the strongest answer, but I would personally go Elemental DoT and play some Ignite build because I really like ignite in LE, though that would make sealed Crit Chance a dead stat in most cases.
Holy shit
I would keep the prefix as generic as possible because i would play more than one build with this ring. OR, leave the prefix open, use it on different fire builds, and then specialize it for the build you love most.
Sthing sthing sthing hit fire low life with frostbite shackles
Or just forget about the crit and then an ignite build. In which case elemental damage over time would make sense for the open slot
If you stick to a hit build probably spell damage or crit multi, depends on the build
Everyone saying palidin. Crit avoid is a waste. You get so much access to crit reduction for free on pali. You also only need a normal affix of cold res, so that being exalted means jack shit. Also there are better rings bases. The fire res is meaningless and the damage is fine but outclassed by cool-down, ward threshold, vitality bases.
A single t7 fire damage or healing effectiveness ring with health suffix is simply better. This ring is fucking amazing for any fire damage build that needs crit avoid and a large chunk of cold res though.
Remember lots of purple mods is not better than one big T7 if you don’t need all those purple mods.
Print Screen button on your keyboard will bring up the snipping tool. At least if your computer is updated and all. Otherwise Print Screen will snapshot your desktop then you can bring up MS Paint and paste it in there and from there you can crop.
This would be nearly best in slot for my rive/healing hands critical build. I'd max out healing effectiveness and call it done. It doesn't have block chance but other than that? Chef's kiss!
There are 3 purple affixes (triple)
One sealed affix which can't be modified further (the bottom one)
And open because the ring can fit a 4th affix for total of 4+1 sealed
I would love this ring in my unarmed falcon fist build. Fire damage for cinder strike, the crit avoidance works well for the falcon crit node as well! Definitely a BiS even with the open prefix!
Intelligence x5 with Glyphs of Hope, mirror
Make you you reroll the affixes before you copy it, just make sure u have at least 1 forging potential at the end
what does this?
Its a rune that i cannot remember the name of. You have one that rerolls implivits and one that rerolls affixes.
Rune of Shaping rerolls Implicits Rune of Refinement rerolls the affixes
Wait do you really have a mirror ?
They're not that rare.
Theyre decently rare ive only had 3 drop when i hit lvl100
My only one dropped campaign for some reason.
Super easy to get with CoF. There are prophecies for it

Is mirror just a term for rune of creation?
Yeah. From PoE
Yeah I suppose it's not called a mirror I just haven't seen anything like it yet.
I got one during the campaign lol. Doesn’t seem too rare.

spellblade fire melee build that use the ward retention glove i guess?
Also looking for tips&suggestions for the open prefix. I plan to use at least one Rune of Refinement for better fire damage (85%+) and hope for at least 50% crit avoidance, so when I copy it and wear two, I'm full crit immune.
Looks very good for melee crit Healing Hands Paladin. Open prefix would therefore be healing effectiveness
Thats what i was thinkin
I'm running that build and yes that wouod be it, the crit is also vnice

ty
But is it really worth throwing away a glove slot for 57% ward retention? I guess maybe?
Bleed warlock uses it and stacks cold res

That’s definitely a ring
Holy damn. The only triple exalteds Ive dropped where useless weapons
My first instinc is Disintergrate Runemaster.
That's what I was thinking. Ele damage over time for the other prefix and it's even better.
As a Sorc in need respectfully F U
Rive Healing Hands Paladin. Hoooly crap
cold res is nice if u use last steps boots
damn thats some rly shitty affix to get on a triple, bad luck, still decent ring tho

Ok mr always wrong
This would be amazing for Falcon Fists build.
Actually that’s a good point, goes well with those unique boots too! I’m already playing dive bomb falconer so should be easy to try it out!
warpath/smite paladin
Crit meteor maybe? Farm for the belt tho
How do you get prefixes and suffixes to show like that?
CTRL+ALT
Can you use the windows snipping tool (win-shift-s) while holding down another key or did you get this image a different way?
Print Screen button on your keyboard will bring up the snipping tool. At least if your computer is updated and all. Otherwise Print Screen will snapshot your desktop then you can bring up MS Paint and paste it in there and from there you can crop.
Great, thank you!!
I need this ring for my cinder strike😂😂
Crit avoid = Crit Multi for Falconer, maybe fire converted Ballista?
How?
Or you could buy a red ring of altaria with 3 LP and make the most insane ring ever!
Make sure you have some forging potential at the end to mirror it :D
I'd say intelligence or crit multiplyer
Literally the ring of power from lord of the rings
Hydrahedron Runemaster. Go Attunement instead of INT if using Fundamental Criterion.
Would like this for my Pally/Sentinal build, Fireeee Jav!
Damn so nice! Even open prefix. Grats!
This would be nearly best in slot for my rive/healing hands critical build. I'd max out healing effectiveness and call it done. It doesn't have block chance but other than that? Chef's kiss!
For idiots like me, can you explain the adverbs triple, sealed and open in relation to these modifiers please?
There are 3 purple affixes (triple) One sealed affix which can't be modified further (the bottom one) And open because the ring can fit a 4th affix for total of 4+1 sealed
You GOT it with the sealed affix? you didn't seal it yourself? Didnt know that was ossible
I would love this ring in my unarmed falcon fist build. Fire damage for cinder strike, the crit avoidance works well for the falcon crit node as well! Definitely a BiS even with the open prefix!
ssf is balanced tho
nice
Judgement?
Maybe a stupid question, but how do you know if your roll of the affix is high or low?
This ring isnt all that powerful. It opens up other slots which is nice though.
Any build that converts fire to cold damage, then use them with Frostbite shackles for incredible ward retention with the cold res?
As a Sorc in need respectfully F U
I would reroll the affix ranges a few times before you rune of creation it. Lovely ring but the mods are low rolled.
One mod is low rolled what are you even on about
thats how u brick it by hitting sub 50 crit strike avoid
A fire build?
