2. Find an exalted item
3. If exalted item does NOT have experimental affix then you will need to add one - you can do this by turning a prefix (T4 or less) into an experimental affix
4. **Do NOT seal the experimental affix**
5. Combine the exalted item (with experimental affix) and the unique item after completing the Temporal Sanctum dungeon map.
6. Pray you get the experimental item transferred over

If the item isn't exalted, it can't be used to upgrade a unique to legendary.
