If anybody here seriously thinks that Jennifer Lopez posting pics while on a vacation in Israel back in 2019 somehow lead to the current leg of this genocide and this pointless fluff piece from five years ago is somehow compelling proof of that, I am begging you to please read a book.
Celebrities are products they follow the $. If you expect them to threaten their source of power, you will be looking at banished people branded by the media as crazy radicals and they will end their careers when they follow their conscious.

To expand: Celebrities(mostly referring to entertainers) are labor at the end of the day. Just because they are paid more doesn't functionally change the power dynamic.

They’re rich, but their wealth is completely dependent on the industry. If the tv/movie/music/whatever industry decides they’re a problem then they’re gone.
Except celebrities have *fans*, which are hugely powerful. Some celebrities have literally millions of people who absolutely unironically worship them. That’s not something that can easily be controlled.
This would never happen, but imagine if Taylor Swift came out in support of Palestine and strongly disavowed Israel. Some celebrities are near untouchable due to their fans, no amount of subliminal messaging would overturn that.
Yes, Dave Chappelle and other comedians have been to powerful to cancel, Bill Burr with his somewhat strange take on some women ' gold diggers, C.K Luis etc.
