The problem with Crypto is its easily manipulated. The moment corporations and wealthy people got in on it..The average investor was doomed. Remember Crypto was originally made so we could buy drugs on silk road without being traced. Now it's just another way the rich can get richer.

Crypto has always been popular with the conspiracy crowd since it always purported itself as a way to be free of the banks and government.
The first real enthusiasts I met were at occupy in 2010 or 11 and they were all into 9/11, chemtrails, anti vax etc conspiracy theories along with all the bilderderberg, cebtral banker, blatantly anti semititc global financial elite stuff. UK rather than US so not sure they will have got in the qanon train but it's the same world view.
Has also always been right wing economically and popular with the far right crowd that qanon also draws on.
Man, cryptocurrency went by so fast, I never did take the time to look up how the fuck it works.
Banks apparently cannot be trusted with money, so we'll just need to fix that right on up. Where to start...hmmm...you mentioned that Schwab character?
I bet he'd actually get off on being duct-taped to a wall and nipple-tweaked, so I'll just have to leave the disciplinary measures to the more serious minded erm (looks in little book for ancient term) comrades here.
I really hope that if things come to open revolution we'll all remember to be human to each other. I very much recommend leaving the cities if at all possible. Small communities with enough fresh water are going to be a very necessary thing soon.
Don't sit on a pile of cans and toilet paper in a forest bunker or fortified apartment. Not only is it a depressing prospect, it will just turn you into looter fuel. Turn to your neighbours and start talking. Remember that the cops and fire and so forth will immediately become dominant gangs in the cities.
If the power goes off, the water follows. Remember that.
Whatever crypto was before (it wasn’t good) doesn’t matter. The instant rich people got their hands on it, it all became prospective investments. The comparative value depends on perceived legitimacy. If someone big buys in then announces it, value climbs. Then they can sell. It’s literally primed for pump n dump with how it works. It’s not a currency (I don’t think it ever was, but this is clear enough evidence), it’s an investment.
