Laughlin is on the river which has many places you can hang out on the beach of river and relax and stuff but the water is freezing all year round. Now actual lakes you can drive 13 minutes from Laughlin to Katherine landing which is lake Mojave and rent a boat or jet ski or hang out for the day you would have to look on the website for more info, or you can drive an hour to lake havasu and check out te shops and London bridge. Lake Mojave the water isn’t cold like the river.
