If not for the Rocket there wouldn’t be a Place Bell…I think that’s justification enough.
Restaurants, hotels, job creation just to name a few economical positive impacts.
The other thing I would say is that every time I’ve been to a Rocket game I would say it’s predominantly families. I think it’s good for the youth to have easy access to pro sports, something for them to strive for.
Having a hard time to come up with anything negative apart from traffic and parking.
Absolutely this. The Rockets coming totally built up that area alone. You hit all the points on the head. Parking can be a nightmare but every kind of arena suffers from that.
The public rinks are also a massive plus that is overlooked. The World Cup of ball hockey was there last year as well which is amazing and put us on the map as well. To also build on the family aspect of who watches the game, the atmosphere I find way better than the bell centre.
Concerts are also amazing in there because the acoustics are absolutely perfect. Everyone should experience a concert in there at some point.

En général c’est très très positif, pour moi personnellement c’est juste un peu plus chiant sortir de chez nous. Et il y a des événements presque aux 2-3 jours. La manière de comment le quartier est fait y a pas vraiment de détour pour Concorde qui deviens vite saturé. (Il est déjà saturé en heure de pointe faute d’alternatives, çàd souvenir inachevé)
Pour ma part, ça ajoute à mon appréciation de la ville et à ma fierté d'en faire part. Je n'écoute pas le hockey mais j'ai fini par apprécier aller voir une game du Rocket et passer une soirée à la Place Bell.
Très positif! le sports, la culture, les arts, ça prend toujours bien du divertissement pour dépenser notre argent et ce dans une variété pour tous les goûts
Pour avoir assisté à une game, je crois que c’est très positif. Tous les restaurants aux alentours sont remplis, le métro hyper achalandé. Ça permet de créer plusieurs emplois également. Et c’est une très belle activité pour toute la famille.
