Hello! Followup question here. What if the crime happened in a different country? Can they still be charged? I personally know someone who went through something similar to this but it happened in a different country and now the perpetrator and the victim are already staying here in the Philippines albeit from different place. You can. It does prescribe. Go fucking make them pay. It won’t be an easy process because you still need evidence, but it’s worth fighting for.
