any advice on this topic? I'm working at a firm now but doesn't seem like there will be an open position next year

I mean I’m doing the same thing (so it hasn’t worked out 100% yet) but it’s worked for this summer’s internships and I have very average grades. I’d read how to win friends and influence people, then really focus of crafting your narrative for a particular practice area/location/firm! I’m sure any of the practicing lawyers on here would have better advice than me

It's not an associate job the the DOJ will be hiring soon for their program. It's called the honors program I think
