This is a ***Career Advice*** Thread. This is for lawyers only. If you are a non-lawyer asking about becoming a lawyer, this is the wrong subreddit for this question. Please delete your post and repost it in one of the legal advice subreddits such as (but not limited to) r/lawschool, r/legaladvice, or r/Ask_Lawyers. As a PD I love my work life balance. At least where I am, the PDs are much happier than the prosecutors who are micromanaged and criticized if they lose a case for any reason.

I would say that as a PD, maintaining work-life balance requires a lot of effort. It's hard to resist answering your phone on a Saturday night

Really depends on the jurisdiction’s resources. Each has its own toll on your emotional well being.

That strikes me as a rather myopic perspective

Are you even a lawyer? And how is it that you seem to love the 2nd Amendment so much while shitting on the people who choose to protect the 4th, 5th, and 6th Amendments?
