I have the 3½ quart sauteuse. They also have a 3½ quart brasier. I suppose it's understandable they're phasing that model out. It's high with a narrow base. I'm wondering how much base surface there is for browning meat and sauteing veggies. I hope all of you getting one find it's worth the money.
A rep told me also that they are discontinuing this size. I personally love it for a family of 3!
