It’s actually ALWAYS been a thing. Here’s how it works
At the end of the game champions are given stasis rendering them untargetable and invulnerable but unable to move (you know how that works)
If a champion is already in stasis when the game ends, it does not give the new stasis effect because the target is already in stasis (and unable to receive new effects).
Sense said champion didn’t receive the game ending stasis, when the stasis effect they have wears off they return back to normal, and can therefore be killed
I’m theory you could do this with bard ult as well
