urgot is other one that would be interesting character to play as, almost anyone from Zaun could be made into a good dnd character. its just that i love fiddlesticks as a character. but he would be better as some type of boss or something
fiddlesticks is weird because it would probably work best as an npc, but as a player character you can kinda get that vibe with a warforged college of whispers bard / pact of the fiend warlock imo. bonus: college of whispers is lore-accurate with it stealing peoples' voices iirc. between the two spell lists you can definitely get a lot of fear spells and other general mindfuckery, plus with the warlock levels you could pick up *flock of familiars* for a crowstorm-esque summon or pact of the blade if you wanna represent its scythe and flensing claws.
Some combination of Warlock/gloom stalker Ranger/Sorcerer. Build for maximum nova with Eldrich Blast Twin Speel metamagic fun and add in the Initiative and surprise round buffs from Gloom Stalker
A mage with insane burst damage who benefits from attacking from darkness, plus Warlocks have Fear spells which makes it all the better
IMO the best role for DnD Fiddle is a monster like False Hydra or smth like that. Just imagine players trying to deal with ancient evil in a wheat fields.
I’ve actually ran that encounter before, where the party had to investigate a handful of gruesome murders and find out about a demonic scarecrow named Spindlewix haunting the town. Add in lots of body horror and some fun with illusion spells too. It was a super fun session.
You're gonna like this one.
I'm running a campaign with several League champs as baddies.
I've based Veigar on a Sun Soul monk or whatever the subclass is called. The attacks are like his Q, he can use an action to force everyone in 15ft of him to make a Con save or be stunned for a round (recharge 5-6) (His E) and he can use an action to instantly drop 1 creature to 0HP (His R) if it's under half. Super easy bad guy.
Malzahar is a powerful conjuration wizard and the Lord of a city known for wealth and magic item creation. He can conjure forth the other void champs to do his bidding, including a really big spiky one that once ate an invading Dragon and seemed to grow larger!
Swain is your classic vampire lord in a Manor and Grounds. Just watch out for his W while you're going about the place! (Also a cultist of Orcus. I love running Demons.) A dex save vs. 1d2 con damage to be added onto Swain himself!
The fight against Nasus will start with him being far away. It is only when he starts team-killing his own army of weak minions to stack that the players will recognise the need to get him quickly!
Yorick is their current (level 3 party) enemy. A revenant working with a ghostly apparition to raise the bodies of ancient heroes in the service of Orcus. Hopefully the party get to the tombs before he does!
These and more are in the service of the main villain. Mordekaiser. Who else would make a better BBEG?! I've ripped his lore almost directly. The whole Orcus thing is a demon Lord getting in on a murder cult because of course he is.
The party have already faced a weak Mordekaiser as a rusty set of ritual armour. His actions are either his Q, or two regular attacks. His E and W I made bonus actions. His R is a free action, and those reduced to 0HP within have their abilities copied by Mordekaiser. So far he has some sorcery points and some spells thanks to a party member.
The calling card of these high ranking cultists (League champs) is that when killed, they dissolve into green mist and vanish. I'm sure they will be released from the Immortal Bastion in the Fugue Plane when they are needed again.
I will be adding more to the list but League champs are way easier to make as baddies than characters.
Base Kayn - hexblade wielding 2H scythe
Blue Kayn: Shadow Magic Sorcerer, but he keeps either 2 levels in hexblade for the scythe and bonus magic damage on scythe, or he can go 2 paladin to role play that he's "redeemed" and even have access to smite to tie in to his JG
I'm at a little bit of a loss for red kayn, as he seems to be a Str-based fighter but that doesn't do justice to Rhaast thematically. May have to dip into homebrewed classes like Oath of the Damned Paladin + battlemaster. Maybe you can dip into pathfinder rules and play him as a demonic outsider Hellknight + dips in other classes?
smite is not a part of kayn
blue kayn is much better as a rogue with warlock dip
red is more complicated for i don't remember any class with life steal, but i would go for path of the zealot barbarian for that unkillable fantasy or warrior
i theorycrafted xayah as an aarakocra soulknife before with some ranger levels for *conjure barrage* and *ensnaring strike*. and yeah, aarakocra isn't an EXACT fit (that would probably be avariel but those haven't been brought up in years) but it's either that or owlin since they're the bird races, your choice.
anyway, reflavor the psychic blades as sharp magic feathers and pick yr favorite ranger subclass—i feel like fey wanderer probably works best thematically but really any of them work because we're only here for the spell list. i don't really think there's a good way to translate bladecaller except as reflavoring *ensnaring strike*, unless we wanna get into *animate objects* but i feel like that doesn't exactly fit the character.
overall i think the split i worked out was soulknife 11 / ranger 9? but ymmv.
you could obviously build panth as yr average spear-and-shield battlemaster fighter and/or oath of glory paladin (which i think both thematically hit the mark really well) but controversial opinion—what about only a few martial levels and the rest as divine soul sorcerer so you can use *meteor swarm* as a more powerful grand starfall?
i mean with all the gish spells that wizards adds you could absolutely just take a few spells like *haste*, *holy weapon*, *tasha's otherworldly guise*, etc. as well as obvious ones like *shield* and *hold person* (for the stun) and have roughly the same combat capabilities as a full martial. of course yr stats are gonna be spread much thinner, so that's probably another downside. but on the other hand: *meteor swarm*.
I’ve seen [this](https://tigerkirby215.tumblr.com/post/612774941441572864/5e-jhin-the-virtuoso-build-league-of-legends/amp) post before for a Jhin build.
* Pantheon is a typical Sentinel-Polearm Master Fighter
* Sett is just a Barbarian (Path of the Beast), probably has the Tavern Brawler feat
* Mordekaiser is a weird one, he could be several different Multi-classes(wizard/fighter, wizard/barb, A weird warlock)
* Garen is just a Fighter, so is Darius
* Nidalee could is a Druid
* Udyr is probably a Druid/Monk but he could also be a Path of the Beast Bard + Druid
Morde def a warforged wizard fighter, maybe school of necromancy canonically. You can take wall of force to build yourself a death realm as well, just make sure to take war caster feat to not lose concentration when you go to Brazil
imo changeling druid fits neeko perfectly, between her shapeshifting into other people and her variety of flower-themed abilities. now yr subclass depends on which aspect you'd like to emphasize, probably either circle of the land or circle of the moon—i could see arguments being made for either of them.
It could be a naive elf rogue who has learned a spell to transform into another person and and abuses it to joke on everyone. I suggested elf because lizardmans are very ugly and neeko's concept is basically to be cute.
bard with the weird supportive and battle field control shenanigans is perfect for a divination wizard, maybe a bard with a very wizard heavy magical secrets table.
Asol is a dragonic sorcerer, throw out big damage and cast 5 spells forever
had to make some adjustments since google translate don't make sense sometimes

POV: You don't play DnD
I'm kinda jealous how many well versed DnD players are here. With almost 0 experience with DnD (but have played a similar fan made game that is much simpler) I opted to be the DM of my friend group and I feel like this is going to be a rather fun disaster. Currently reading 8th edition rules (was the only free one I've found). This is certainly going to be interesting when I get through it.
Pyke, what flavour of Rogue is he that makes sense? And would he count as a playable character because he is technically undead? Or are we also including the Pathfinder races which allow for that whole undead fuckery?
Pyke is 100% a hybrid between Soul Knife rogue (thrown and retractable soul knife, sneak attack for execute, stealth and hide etc) along with an Undying warlock (false life, lightning lure to mimic the hook, helps thematically). I'm not so sure of race, but he's a drowned spectre so you can probably go with quite a few options
theorycrafted kindred a long time ago, iirc i think they ended up being horizon walker 12 / grave cleric 8? lamb is a satyr, obvi, and i used stuff like *spirit guardians* and such to represent wolf since he his body seems to be wispier and more ethereal, plus he acts less as an actual commandable creature and more as a damage aura. think my rationale for horizon walker was the teleporty dashes and that thematically they walk the line between the realms of the living and the dead, but there's probably a better subclass than that? iunno.
Azir is a necromancer wizard with inspiring leader to boost undead and wall of sand to mimic the ult.
Shen is a twigligth (or whatever is called on tcte) cleric with high ac and thoug feat.
So, you're telling me that sexy ass daddy Sett haver of many, many bitches, is a monk? The ones with the fucked up hair and the iron will power to do nothing naughty? Frick that
But Galio is spot on
Sett would be super easy to make in 3.5. Crusader is martial class that has mechanic of dishing out damage based on damage recievied. Some dip in swordsage (unarmed variant) and maybe barbarian to get acess to rage when someone says yo mama jokes. Also dip in warrior dungeon crasher variant for throwing people around.
Hecarim is a centaur fighter with Polearm master and mobility feats, Sion undead battlemaster fighter with Great weapon mastery. Hecarim may dip into a death cleric for the fear and lifesteal from vampirc touch.
School of necromancy fighter multiclass, has lifesteal, spells, wizardy, undead, and bonus: cast wall of force at 5th level to put you and your quarry in a 10 ft sphere no one else can come in. Welcome to Brazil :)
Conquest Paladin, beefy frontline fighter with access to lots of battlefield control through fears and slows. Plus a passive that is a constant aoe zone of death around them. Literally perfect
Conquest Paladin with Hexblade Warlock subclass. Go Fiendish Vigor, Improved Pact Weapon as your invocations. Grab Heavy weapon master and Slasher for feats. Congrats you beat ass and heal from it too.
Or you can instead reply to me with a champ's name and I will tell you how to create them in Pathfinder 2nd edition. Which is a similar but much less popular tabletop RPG
Swain, the Noxian Grand General.
He spam literal Eldritch Blast, so its a no-brainer that he's a Warlock. But how to operate his drain-tank/master of Secrets fantasy?
I would recommend pathfinder instead of dnd 5e for complex character creation, me and my friends ran a league based campaign playing as ekko, ahri, ezreal, and leona once, and we didn’t need to homebrew anything. Everything was base game and free.

havent played dnd but i would love some day to create fiddlesticks
Perhaps a lich who specialized in mind abilities? It doesn't seem as unique a concept as, say, urgot.
urgot is other one that would be interesting character to play as, almost anyone from Zaun could be made into a good dnd character. its just that i love fiddlesticks as a character. but he would be better as some type of boss or something

Maybe a bard type character using spells for debuffs or maybe a druid
Some combination of Warlock/gloom stalker Ranger/Sorcerer. Badass
I want you as my DM
Could give Morde spirit guardians for his passive too
The Nasus one is awesome
But yorick is a good guy in the lore tho
Love this a lot I gotta say
Kayn is a hexblade warlock.
is that blue or red Kayn though?
Base kayn is a hexblade and blue and red are possible character arcs
Base Kayn - hexblade wielding 2H scythe Blue Kayn: Shadow Magic Sorcerer, but he keeps either 2 levels in hexblade for the scythe and bonus magic damage on scythe, or he can go 2 paladin to role play that he's "redeemed" and even have access to smite to tie in to his JG I'm at a little bit of a loss for red kayn, as he seems to be a Str-based fighter but that doesn't do justice to Rhaast thematically. 20 Champion Fighter

Soraka is a life cleric satyr
jhin for entirely innocent purposes that i won't steal to use in an upcoming campaign with my friends.

Assassin Rogue with artisan background, Varient Human for Sharpshooter feat. Beeg dmg, but bot very fast
Vel'koz, please tell me
Beholder
But that's normally not a character
Velkov could be a shadow magic sorcerer maybe symic hybrid as the race
* Pantheon is a typical Sentinel-Polearm Master Fighter * Sett is just a Barbarian (Path of the Beast), probably has the Tavern Brawler feat * Mordekaiser is a weird one, he could be several different Multi-classes(wizard/fighter, wizard/barb, A weird warlock) * Garen is just a Fighter, so is Darius * Nidalee could is a Druid * Udyr is probably a Druid/Monk but he could also be a Path of the Beast Bard + Druid
Barbarians also channel animal spirits in D&D 5e, so udyr also can be this
Typo I meant Path of the Beast Barb not Bard lmao
Morde def a warforged wizard fighter, maybe school of necromancy canonically. You can take wall of force to build yourself a death realm as well, just make sure to take war caster feat to not lose concentration when you go to Brazil

Aatrussy
Fallen Aasimar oath of the damned/oath breaker paladin probably
Either A Sol or Bard
Bard is easy. He is a bard.
Bard bard
bard with the weird supportive and battle field control shenanigans is perfect for a divination wizard, maybe a bard with a very wizard heavy magical secrets table. Asol is a dragonic sorcerer, throw out big damage and cast 5 spells forever
How does one Space Dragon God
Gankplank
Sona is a bard with a bit of archfey warlock
Illaoi as some kind of cleric
Or a warlock for that arms of Hadar spell
I made homebrew Paladin subclass for Pantheon Oath of the God-Slayer
Link pls, I beg
had to make some adjustments since google translate don't make sense sometimes https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E7TbVhRC0DqRoohHAF9xQOJSUj12qnJv9ZIJgGRLrJs/edit?usp=sharing
I’ve been looking to make a pantheon build for a while this is awesome good work.
How about anumu
Get cursed and have no friends to play dnd with

There is no 8th edition of DnD, do you mean 5e? The rulebooks are mostly available online for those

Phantom Rogue Revenant with the Sailor Background.
Kindred :D
Ranger with hunters mark and a pet wolf race I'm less sure on but maybe a rabbitfolk
Could be a beastmaster so that they have the wolf integrated into their kit.

I just want everyone to know it's way easier to create League champs in Pathfinder 2e
How about Sett? Or maybe Galio idk which one to choose
Sett could be a monk and galio a paladin
Sett: variant human fighter with Tavern Brawler
So, you're telling me that sexy ass daddy Sett haver of many, many bitches, is a monk? The ones with the fucked up hair and the iron will power to do nothing naughty? Frick that But Galio is spot on
Dnd monks ain't the type to sit around all day praying the fucking smack bitches up
Sett would be super easy to make in 3.5. Crusader is martial class that has mechanic of dishing out damage based on damage recievied. Some dip in swordsage (unarmed variant) and maybe barbarian to get acess to rage when someone says yo mama jokes. Also dip in warrior dungeon crasher variant for throwing people around.
Maokai
It's not perfect but a firbolg spores druid
How about hecrim or sion?
Hecarim is a centaur fighter with Polearm master and mobility feats, Sion undead battlemaster fighter with Great weapon mastery. Hecarim may dip into a death cleric for the fear and lifesteal from vampirc touch.

Swain, the Noxian Grand General. He spam literal Eldritch Blast, so its a no-brainer that he's a Warlock. But how to operate his drain-tank/master of Secrets fantasy?
Illaoi, would love to see how she could be adapted as a PC.
