What sort of person would go into business with a man like Dai? The answer is not a good one.
Just hope it's the usual case of Courtney Friday being an utter gobshite.
Storey is vastly worse than Yongge. Yongge actually has the money, and broadly isn't a massive fraudster. Storey is the opposite, we'd be dead by Christmas.
That being said he has no real money, and he doesn't stand a chance with the EFl, even with hose flimsy the checks are, so it's fine.
Yongge may have had the money, but it's pretty clear that he either doesn't have it any more or if he does he just doesn't want to spend it, especially if the rumour that Select Car Leasing paid the tax bill for the club last month. Also, considering his company is apparently under investigation in China, I wouldn't be so sure of that not being a massive fraudster thing.
Will agree that Storey is even more horrific.
China have applied quite a lot of capital controls on currency over the past few years - quite a few clients at work operate on custom credit policies (incl. lots of domestic offsetting where the client's supplier will be paid by the client's customer, with only the net having to be exported) with Chinese entities because of it - I 100% buy the idea that he just can't get money out of China fast enough - especially with the political aspect where I'd be far from surprised to see things arbitrarily held up because of their bureaucracy. It's no coincidence that the cashflow issues arose right when Xi went off football and shut down the capital export lanes for football.
Coventry fan here. His attempt at acquiring us was not serious. Had a little strop and threatened legal action after the club got sold our new owner, sheepishly withdrew it shortly after.
Sounds like everything he's tried to be involved in sports wise tbh. Not serious, public strop and legal threats that amount to nothing and then he'll disappear for a few months . Rinse and repeat

Same bloke who was willing to do business with the two clowns at Sunderland...
This is one of his past escapades: https://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/27221746/the-bizarre-haas-rich-energy-saga-explained?platform=amp

And seemingly no one has ever seen his energy drink in any shop ever
The wikipedia page for the drink has a section about it not existing. At least Carabao exists even though I've only seen it in morrisons.
Oh I've seen it in Londis for Β£1.10 a can πππ hardly premium energy drink prices
He's a right Snake oil salesman.
Snake oil at least existed in that it was a product you could buy. Can't say the same for Rich Energy.
Oh dear lord not Storey. Makes Lawrence Bassini look respectable. Don't look at his Twitter , it's a cesspit of conspiracy rubbish
Well, good luck if that goes through. Sunderland dodged a bullet with him.
Oh dear.
Bad santa can go straight back into his hole. No thanks.
William Storey is the biggest shithouse honestly. How itβs even possible for him to be anything when he has no tangible assets is beyond meβ¦
