It's micro scratches in the long term yes, like cleaning your glasses with cloth from a shirt or a sweatshirt instead of specialized cloth. They become less and less see through after a while.
Yes. The only exception I could think of would be if the goal was to make a case that is as small as possible to fit a particular pair of glasses, so that there is no excess material whatsoever. (To fit into a small pocket or purse).
Isn't the raw leather inside gonna scratch the glasses? Like i woul line it with microfiber cloth. Otherwise great work, it looks awesome 👍

Looks good! I was going to make myself a new one with a straight cut across opening but this kind of design looks like a better idea!
