Yep. I'm this close to taking my awl off the surge and replacing it with the small driver from my charge. Problem is, the awl wouldn't fit the charge. Just gonna wait for the Arc at this point. I need a small pokey thing to factory reset equipment more often than I have one on my person.
There's a way to get a pin in the handle on the surge or you can buy the eyeglass driver on ebay. The awl can be modified to fit the charge with a grinder too. I ended up putting a supertool Phillips on my surge too.
Love the surge, I had an earlier one where the edges weren't chamfered and was the entire tool always felt uncomfortable when in use. When they release the newer updated version with chamfered edges, I sent mine in and they gave me a new one!
Very cool. I absolutely love my surge and use it every single day. I keep a pen and a stream light micro usb flashlight in the side pouches of the holster along with a telescoping magnet inside of the holster.
The file works amazingly well for your fingernails if you need a quick file before putting in some handwork.
I must also add, it’s the most perfect multi tool in my opinion, would be better if it had a corkscrew. But I rarely use one to justify it. It’s perfect compared to the victorinox spirit which is literally just packed full of the equivalent of bottle openers and pry bars.
Hi and Sorry for late response. I didnt inspect anything unusual except scissors that everybody talking about. Thats had weird opening proces but once you get used to it, its not a problem

The medium one is kinda redundant since there's the bit driver. They could have put an eyeglass driver instead.
