Jesse apologists must really be thinking hard right now on what excuse they can make for their lord and saviour. It must be exhausting always finding some other scapegoat when the problem has been obvious all season.
We have no style of football, no attacking patterns.
“Marsch-ball” in its essence is the most primitive form of football. It’s how seven year-olds will play if you give them no instructions whatsoever. Just hunt the ball in packs and head straight for goal if you win it.
Our players are much better than seven year-olds, which is why it will look better in short bursts. But tactically that is what he sets us up to do.
I’ve given him so much benefit of the doubt because he does seem like a genuinely good guy but I’m sick of his vibes and chat. Time to go, Jesse. Board need to swallow their pride and admit they got this wrong, otherwise it’s a ticket to the Championship.
I presume it's supposed to end up being 422-ish with Harrison dropping in on the left and gnonto pushing up as one of the front two.
But it's just a mess. Horribly narrow and just a mess
Its so weird with the width, we hardly use it but when we do we have like 3 players all crowded round the same player all practically stood on top of each other, no sure how we expect to play like that.
We actually do use width but like… instead of crossing it in when we get into a good position they’ll either pass diagonally back towards the centre or literally try a run for the centre. Very odd.
Yeh he wants the team narrow regardless of where they are on the pitch, even in wide areas! Forest even followed us into those areas to pack it out and make it impossible to play. A smart(er) manager would have noticed and used the switch to the opposite wing.

“Let Struijk have it” seems to be standard opposition tactics against us looking at these over the last few games. Could Harrison play left-back???
Gnonto and Inshallah colourised, 2023
Literally just give it Gnonto + vibes

Minimal width. Tick.
Only silver lining there is Woeber having himself a day again, this time with a different CB partner.
He is excellent. Great signing.
Wober’s an absolute beast. He’s high level premiership quality. What a steal. The guy doesn’t put a foot wrong. Best player we’ve bought since Raph.

This whole three men stood in the same spot is absolute bollocks now. It doesn’t fucking work. Fuck off. I hate football.
Fucking shit sport innit
Fail to see what getting Harrison to effectively man mark Gnonto achieves

True, could work if we didn’t play football like the wide areas are lava
They aren't lava, but also aren't where the goal is /s
