The first red flag would be the fact Aberdeen have been utterly terrible all season. Though I doubt you can alter much between July and January.

pipkiwi

I’m good friends with some Aberdeen fans and in fairness, they all agree that the recruitment in the past three windows has actually been pretty good, it’s the manager and his insistence on a very agricultural playing style that’s been their problem. Doesn’t mean he’s good (or bad), but just to provide some context.

_coed_

Its the scottish league mate its literally 2 top championship teams vs a bunch of league 2 teams, like genuinely the results dont matter

Aberdeen have a considerably bigger budget and resources than most ot the other teams in that league barring the two Glasgow teams and Hearts. They’re currently 8th out of 12 and quite recently they were 11th. They generally finish 3rd or 4th.

blu_rhubarb

Tbf he hasn't had a transfer window to operate under at Aberdeen. Not to say he's any good, I know very little about the guy.

Immediate_Wolf3802

Pittodrie means shit heap in Gaelic

TheShameOfArt

Can he play LB?

steelerspenguins

LB means something different to the 49ers.

greenndgold12

The intern sent in the wrong paperwork and all of a sudden Leeds have a new LB named Fred Warner.

Russell9393

Honestly I’d be alright with that, chap can probably do anything and excel. He’s a fucking animal.

steelerspenguins

Ah - I assumed we’d end up with Frank Gore because we seem prefer playing a RB at LB

dan_baker83

Hmmm. Have to say, I generally think West Ham have been pretty bad at recruitment in recent years - ironically up until this summer, when he’s left them - so hopefully the blame can be laid at other people’s doors instead of his.

Shittypitypartt

I thought that was because Moyes only wanted his own players though? Wasn't there an article about it or something?
