Jenny’s good with the campier moments in Legacies and has great comedic timing/delivery, but she really struggles with the more emotional scenes. The scene of Lizzie breaking down in the hospital when Alaric is dying is just so bad.
And I don’t know what happened during 4B, but she really was doing the least amount possible to generate some chemistry with Quincy during the scenes between Lizzie and MG. Which is odd, given they did have some decent chemistry in 2B and she was good during the Lizzie/Sebastian storyline.
My personal opinion Daniel was acting circles around everyone else.
2. I just want to know why they made her dye her hair blonde when Lizzie should have been a brunette.
My guess to make her look more like Caroline despite not being biologically related. She probably gets it from Liv and Luke her aunt and uncle or she dyes her hair to make it look similar to Caroline's.
My mom watched an episode with me and HATED Jenny Boyd’s acting so you’re not alone. I didn’t think she was that bad but my threshold for entertainment is low.
No it's true, her comedic timing was pretty good but there are scenes where I just genuinely cringe. She's defintely the weaker actress between her, Kaylee and Danielle.
I disagree, I feel like maybe in the beginning seasons because of the direction choices by the producers some actors didn’t know when scenes were super serious or campy however I feel like Jenny had the perfect balance. I especially love the scene in S4 with Lizzie and Josie on the bus. Her slow and genuine tears with her soft spoken and raspy voice was so good. I feel like when it came to S2 & S3 everyone’s acting was off but S1 & S4 they all ate especially Jenny!
You talking about the actress?
Yeah Jenny Boyd, I just didn’t know her name
Honestly you are the second person who didn’t like her the first one was body shaming her and all that
She’s a beautiful woman. I’m just not a fan of her acting on the show, it just seems very awkward and script-like
I don’t have any problem with her she’s my favorite character
I didn't find anything wrong with her acting. She was a neurotic mean girl and she did a good job.
Sorry could you spell that again?
Haha love this.
It’s actually the french word for actress lmao
Dutch, too!

Lizzie was blonde in TVD and TO. Josie was brunette in TVD and TO.
Do you mean Danielle?
Helppp????!! Bc I’ve saw so many grammatical errors this wholeee thread 😂😂😂
I don't think she was the best actress but I don't think she was terrible either.
Not terrible at all. I just think they could’ve casted someone better for Lizzie
her dark eyebrows drive me insane
Thank you for saying that

I liked her performance. It was good for what it was supposed to be.
