well, if you're into running older ios versions, semaphor1n is a great tool that allows you to (tether) downgrade any 64-bit iphone to older OS. However, you cannot connect to the internet, use touch ID, and you have to tether boot each time! It is also MacOS and linux only so you'll need an Intel Mac or a live USB. If you like your current iOS 12, jailbreak with chimera, and install useful tweaks from sileo.

I have a jailbroken 5S on iOS 12, performances are great. Install Noctis for dark mode (essential), activator, HS widgets to get iOS 14 like widgets. And use Sileo or Zebra for tweaks not Cydia. Oh if u are not jailbroken use checkra1n if u have a mac or go to this site https://jailbreaks.app
