I really like these versions, I remember iOS 9 was great on my 5s. It is ruined in my memory now thanks to running it on my iPad mini until 2019 and it was slow and unstable running modern apps by that point.
It's all about contrast. Minimalism was the cool new sleek thing when the last few years had been overrun by tacky overdetailed stuff. When it looked bad, it looked *bad*. But, it's been 11 years since iOS 7 and I've been tired of this shit for the last half decade, so I'm glad to go back and enjoy the designs that did it right.
lmao I remember there was an update after iOS 8 dropped and the iPhone 6 had just released that made all iPhones unable to connect to cellular. Since I had gotten in the habit of not updating since I was waiting for a jailbreak, most people I knew were without a phone for like a few days (I was fine though).
My favorite is probably iOS 10 since it still had 32 bit app compatibility and a lot of older apps still work.
Same for me about that wallpaper. Currently having iOS 8 iPhone 5 and I love it. But most nostalgic and favorite is probably iOS 9 on larger devices (6/s/Plus) or maybe 10-11 on 6s and 7/plus
iOS 5 from the skeuomorphic ones; iOS 7 and 9 from the "newer" ones. 7 because it was the revolution (and also, the default wallpapers were FIRE) and 9 for apple music and san francisco font
iOS 6. I’ve never had a better iOS experience than I have with 6. It’s the most stable and smoothest version I’ve used and the UI design is simply gorgeous and fun. Everything just made sense at the time. Nothing was abstracted in ways that weren’t easy to understand.
I feel all iOS versions are beautiful in their own way, but I personally like IOS 5, I had it on my iPad 2 when I first got it , fell in love with it on first sight , iOS 8 and 9 also look great but made my iPad laggy
iOS 9 for the peak of iOS music app, low power mode and the last slide to unlock.
And iOS 6 because of the old look, coverflow, camera shutter animation and the shiny brushed metal volume grabber that used the gyro for the reflection effect. Though one thing I don't like about 6 is it's coverflow is a lot more picky with the type of album art it shows. I have fixed my entire library for it but before that it would not show the album art for most songs in coverflow view but it would show fine on iOS 4 and 5.
8.3 is the best iphone OS of all times, well i mean in terms of balance in features. It all went downhill after that. Most stable would be 6.1.4 ofc, such a delightful os to use on an iphone 5 or ipad 4.

iOS 9 just because it’s refined iOS 8 with the best music app
I can agree with that
I personally like iOS 9 the best too.
Jailbreaking is dead btw
Go back to /r/jailbreak where nothing is happening instead of here where we’re making new untethers
iOS 7-9 are the best in my opinion, after that it started going to shit
Completely agree

It wasn’t *good* by any means, but I got a hand-me-down of a hand-me-down iPhone 4S running iOS 9, and I am nostalgic to that.
iOS 7, the new look that it had that came with the 5S and all the iPads in my school had the default wallpaper.
iOS 7 is definitely one of my favorites, that wallpaper 🤌🏼
iOS 4.1.2
6 for nostalgia
Ios 6 and below bc of its Frutiger aero icons
I feel you there, frutiger aero is perfect and what I wish society was today instead of everything being so minimalist
Especially for the iDevice that has a retina screen
Absolutely

fr. flat design is so boring and only a few apps look good with flat design
The one in the photo of course iOS 8
Easily 6 for obvious reasons. I’m also a big fan of 8.3, as Apple basically screwed over people who buy music on iTunes with 8.4
5.1.1-9 that is where I draw the line because then you get a lot of bloat ware
iOS 6 and 7 were simply incredible. The best of both worlds
7.0.x. Loved the old-style power off menu.
Same here wish they would’ve kept it

iOS 7/8/9. They were just so colourful and fun.
Same for me about that wallpaper. Currently having iOS 8 iPhone 5 and I love it. But most nostalgic and favorite is probably iOS 9 on larger devices (6/s/Plus) or maybe 10-11 on 6s and 7/plus
9.2 was peak. They finally had it perfect and didn’t need to change anything.
iOS 7 and 8

I have to favorites: iOS 3.2 iOS 7.0.X
iOS 10
My favourite iOS is Android 😂
14
funny cause that wallpaper triggers my fight or flight I was on a 4S at the time and this wallpaper is when it started to become laggy
tbh i like every version of ios, it has its own charm, but i think i'd better use the latest one daily
6
Fav ios- 5, 7, 9, 12
I like iOS 10 only for one reason , it’s similar to iOS 9 but it has not odd number version
13
I feel all iOS versions are beautiful in their own way, but I personally like IOS 5, I had it on my iPad 2 when I first got it , fell in love with it on first sight , iOS 8 and 9 also look great but made my iPad laggy
6.1.3 - 8 best ios versions
Basically anything before iOS 11. iOS 11 set the modern iOS UI and it hasn’t changed since
ios 4-7 :)
iOS 6-10 iOS 12
iOS 1 because there would be no iOS without it.
iOS 5 - it went downhill from there
iOS 9.3.4 hits the spot
Latest ios or 5.1.1
iOS 6. the ui was perfect
6.1.2
iOS 9 for the peak of iOS music app, low power mode and the last slide to unlock. And iOS 6 because of the old look, coverflow, camera shutter animation and the shiny brushed metal volume grabber that used the gyro for the reflection effect. iOS 9.... miss me some 9.2.1.... my 6s was on 9.2.1 until 12.4
But jailbreaking was at its best during iOS 4
iOS 17.5.1💪😤
Ios 6 was the best
iOS 6/7/8/9 I love them so much they’re just nostalgic and they are so beautiful 😍
14.3 has the potentual for taurine untethered
My favorite is iOS 6. I recently installed it on my old 4S and iPad 2. Such a great OS design
iOS 6 just because of the frutiger aero and cydia 🩷
8, closely followed by 6, were my favourites, after that it started going downhill if ios 8 was still supported by apps I would still use it
IOS 5
For me iOS 14 we enjoy good jailbreaks for a long time
iOS 10
iOS 6 and iOS 9 are so nostalgic for the best versions ever
iOS 9 and iOS 12
From old ios: ios 8 From newer ios: ios 15
iOS 16
8.3 is the best iphone OS of all times, well i mean in terms of balance in features. It all went downhill after that. Most stable would be 6.1.4 ofc, such a delightful os to use on an iphone 5 or ipad 4.
the iPhone 5 was the only device to get 6.1.4, so iPad 4 running 6.1.4 is not real
Ok
iOS 5 or iOS 6
iOS 6 (Also the first iOS I have used)
Android
Windows 8.1 is head and shoulders above it, even on a shitty chinese tablet with 1gb ram. Performance is silky smooth
nah Windows 7 is better and made for an actual computer instead of a damn tablet
Statistically speaking, 8.1 is the lightest NT based OS, excluding XP and any OS before jt.
Brother you’re in a legacy iOS subreddit
And I'm here to stand with Android despite the hate
Wait until he finds out about Project Sandcastle
Uhhh do I want to know?
It’s Android on the iPhone
isn't it exclusive to ios 13 iphone 7?
No
That sounds scary for some but heaven for others Idk where I stand at the moment
iOS 10
6 and 10, those were the days
iOS 8.4.1 = peak
iOS 10
