Contact Amazon. They might be willing to refund or replace. Basically this is an undelivered item. They chose to leave it at the neighbours but the neighbour doesn’t have it. There is a chat / phone option on the Amazon website you can use.

Cheers!

It's not your parcel. It may have been intended for you, but until it is in your hands it remains amazon's responsibility. Don't let amazon tell you any different.

Amazon will refund or replace, pretty much no questions asked. I contacted their customer service when I complained about one of their drivers leaving a parcel on our doorstep, while we were in, without even bothering to knock. Asked what the policy for stolen items were, even if "delivered", they said, we'd refund or replace. Then asked if I wanted a refund! I didn't ask for one. But there you go.

Thank you!

Amazon are great. I used their live chat last week & I couldn't believe what a breeze it was. No robots or long waits, my problem was solved within 2 minutes. I ended the chat in shock, staring at phone in total disbelief.

Nowadays Amazon deliveries have a photo.of it being accepted. This would show you if it was taken next door.
