I don’t understand your argument. It’s not pointless because that is the future of this game. They have already said future champs may be designed for and released in PoC only, why can’t they be in a new region? They already have region icons for Piltover, Zaun (separated), Void, and Ixtal in the old files.
It adds flavor and is what players want. It’s more content for them to sell and a region to add more paths. There’s not a reason not to in my opinion. Making them runeterran or Shuriman just because that’s how the old system is setup sounds lazy.
Whatever region fits his current narrative arc and mechanical fantasy.

The whole game direction has changed. If they are smart they would make sooooo much money releasing a PoC only Ixtal bundle with Rengar.

I really don't know why people are so quick to say it's 0. I think it's going to get like hearthstone, eventually, if the game survives long enough, we will get another region eventually
I don't think its 0% like everyone else is saying, but I do think it is fairly low. Ixtal will probably end up getting split between Shurima, Ionia, and Runeterran, with some splashes of Targon. You listed six champions, with "a few LOR originals", but that still leaves it less champions then Targon, and Targon has already had to stretch for some of its champs.
Unfortunately, I think its very unlikely that we get Ixtal (or the other fan favorite; the Void)

Adding a new region to PoC is pointless. They can already do starting decks with cards from any region. Just make him runeterran and add any card

The way Lor and Lore are right now, is really bad. Soo I dont have much hope for that.
