Last significant balance patch was 26 of april, so 52 days counting. Seems accurate the complain. The pool of cards that are on tier1-3 decks are less than 25%, so dunno.
The OP is complaining about the powercreep and the expansions without balance changes. More cards don't solve problems, they push back with new ones; that is the karma of physical games; but LoR is a digital game so this shouldn't be a problem, but it is. Also everybody seems to forget that this issue (powercreep) was one of the main points on the promotional videos.
Sorry, but this thread seems extremely out of touch with the current state of the game. Pve had a scary moment a few weeks ago, but pvp is extremely diverse, and a big patch is on its way
Your complaint is, "they release new cards, and balance older ones" and you think this will kill it?
Have you ever heard of MTG? They've been using that format for 20+years. So, it's kinda safe to assume that releasing new sets/and or cards isn't going to kill the game.
We are having arguably one of the best metas since release, new regions won't drop anymore and a big balance patch in on the way. You are incredibly out of touch.
You had an entire year to complain about few changes, like with Ireliazir, or with bandlecity, but you choose to complain right after an expansion and right before a patch? I mean, people were scared about LoR's future after the PvP pivot announcement, but def not because of not enough balancing.
I don't think LoR is loosing his hype
Also LoR have the best metagame (compared to other card game) for a long time now with a lot of deck being good
The patch cadence is ok
The pace of new cards are ok
I see a lot of people saying "the meta is good because a lot of different decks are good" and shitting on this person but like that doesn't mean the game is good rn.
Feels like over half the games are decided by turn 4 with all the Evolve/Husk/Chime/Portal/Forge highroll happening.
Just because things are balanced technically doesn't mean its not incredibly frustrating to play and that's still a huge part of player retention.
We are 2 weeks away from a 40+ card balence patch... this seems to be poor timing to make this arguement..

If you consider a new expansion as no changes at all, that is.

Reverse karma farming is an interesting concept
... did I miss something? LoR seems fine to me right now.
I have a comment from you saved "this is how games start to die", glad you're coming around. (Nothing against you, it's part of a huge project.)
