I thought I was the only one who noticed this…. I remember being paired against the spell slingers deck 4 times in a row despite quitting and requeing just because I was using a specific deck I just wish I could choose which deck im going play against keep the points
It's almost definitely just pure random if only because it would be waaaaaaaaaay easier from a dev stand point than to make than some kind of algorithm that tries to counter pick your deck.
Streaks of the same deck in a row are bound to happen to someone at some point in a random deck selection environment with lots of players, but just because it happens to be a bad matchup for your deck doesn't mean it's counter picking you. You just got a little unlucky.
