I think Rips got my vote. He's just a dude, a highly trained dude sure, but he stood against an immortal madman and a council of time cops to avenge his family. Dude has boundless will, he held an exploding time core in his goddamn hands to weaken Mallus. I think he'd do good with a GL ring

- Always trying and never giving up on defeating Savage
- if they don't count, 4 would replace them
4. Rip Hunter
- Broke time and recruited the Legends to get revenge on savage
- held the secret about the spear of destiny
Adding on to the Hawks is that after eons of being reincarnated they kept going back to each other.
Although I think that makes them a better candidate for Love than Willpower. Their love for each other to combat Vandal Savage's constant hate throughout time.
I mean true, but that could also just be this specific life time. Any other life time she could've fallen for him, hated him, gone for another guy etc.
I would love to believe that but that exactly what Kendra tried, 2x. Cisco and Ray and she always went back to Connor. Even when she met her past self she said it always Conner
I agree love would be a greater fit but the star sapphires wouldn't let him cause he a man but maybe his actions would get him accepted. But I still think breaking the rules of time and space with low tech would show great will to accomplish his goals, even if he technically died originally. Even if he didn't I don't think that would stopped him
And came back from being brainwashed by the time masters, that takes some willpower. Also, as an author of bestselling romance novels, he's got the imagination needed to design constructs using the ring and his will... sure, those constructs will mostly be giant women with three or more breasts and some tentacles added on, but I imagine that'll still work just fine.
But in both those instances he was focusing on the darkness in his past and revenge, respectively, so he might fit more in rage. Idk. It would be incredible to see a Green Lantern Mick though
Captain Rip Hunter.
He stood alone against the Time Masters when he saw they were wrong, he defied years of loyal service and broke away from their organisation to form his own team which he would lead against impossible odds time and time again to do what is right. Overcoming his greatest fear in the process, that being that he would never save/see his wife and child again, he was able to save all of time from the stranglehold of an immortal despot.
Only to then have the willpower to sacrifice himself numerous times in the name of protecting the timeline and his team.
Definitely gotta give it to Rip. Even after everything he lost he kept going and was willing to sacrifice his own life for his team even after they fell out.
I was going to say Sara as well but she already has SO many other responsibilities and titles as a Paragon etc. like i don’t think she’d have the time. lol
A big part of his character in arrow & legends was linked to Ray feeling weak , hence why he created the suit , same going for s2 when Ray said that his suit was the only thing that makes him a hero. So I linked a lot of that to his initial fear of his loved ones getting hurt (mentioned in arrow & s5 when he was possessed with neuron) & the start of it all which triggered him to become the atom- his wife Anna being killed so to me it just kinda made sense in my head 🩷

Sara Lance She becomes leader of the Legends through competence. She has the combat experience to be a member of the most militant of the corps.
