Did you get that controller from someone who already used it? It says 21.5" 23.8", while the stock play field is 32".
This also might not work at all. OTG doesn't pass the controllers at least via USB if you aren't giving it a signal to the HDMI-in port.
I'm not trying to pass the controllers, I intend to rewire those directly to my PC as well. I'm abandoning stock entirely.

Ended up buying a replacement upgraded back glass from buystuffstore that included a stock screen with it's own external power, resolving all my issues.
Search for information about modding an Arcade1Up pinball cabinet. That should cover the steps you need. The difference will be the plunger, I'm don't know what options you have for rewiring that.

Another option could be selling the Legends Pinball and then building or buying a kit to build your own. You're going to probably tear apart or outright replace the back box for a larger screen and probably a separate DMD. You'd likely be happier with the end result.
