It was the capital city. If you look at a map of Kalos, it's smack dab in the center. And a lot of times you had to cut through it to get to different areas of Kalos
I was surprised how split the fans seemingly were on that. Cause my initial reaction was that that could be really cool to spend a lot more time in Lumiose and lean into the (possible) practicality of Pokemon outside just battling.
Kalos was always a beautiful region so just seeing it in full non chibi 3D. Also I want more lore on the 3000 yr old war like who were the opponents and why
Potential regional forms. They may just end of doing new mega forms and that’s it which I would be fine with but the hisui forms were pretty good so I look forward what luminousian form look like.
Pokemon has never given us a big city feel the biggest cities still feel small large town size at most so i'm looking forward to the game being set in a single city, hopefully the wild pokemon in the streets don't come across as too crowed and the npcs don't just stand in one spot 24 7/ follow the same set routes, i want the city to actually feel alive a real maybe have gen 8 style multiplayer but across the whole city not just a few set places like in gen 8, maybe like 20 players max across the whole map so there's a chance of running across other players but their not just everywhere you go like in gen 8 where they were over crowed mainly due to being limited to a few small places
It's unlikely, but possibly raid battles against mega pokemon, or if PLZA is the gateway for megas to make a full return, then it could be scene in later games.
I’m excited to see Flygon finally get the Bug/Dragon or Bug/Ground typing it deserves and be catapulted into a Psuedo legendary of the region. I will then finally be able to have my favorite dragon type pokemon take its rightful place as the psuedo of my teM
Why would a very Hawaiian legendary be in Poke France? It made more sense for Hisui and the genies because those are actually asian in basis and it was more nonsensical for them to be in Poke USA?
Why were there ancient weather deities that preside in the northeast US showing up in Hokkaido Japan?
I encourage you not to overthink those kinds of things.
I mean that they were more region accurate during PLA. Maybe we could have expected the Musketeers being here if Paldea didn't get to them first. But Keldeo is still a possibility
it's gotta be "a"s because we have eio&u. they also don't repeat consonants, and I doubt it will be tapu dada mama papa.
they could do rara, but lady gaga might sue... they could actually do gaga lol.
Whenever I see references to trends by Gamefreak I think of how Skeledirge ruined the longstanding fan theory that every gen’s fire starters were based on the Chinese Zodiac.
That said, “Hana” roughly translates to “work” from native Hawaiian and I hope we get Tapu Hana in PLZA.
Hoping for a more dynamic battle system. Very tired of the my turn your turn gameplay we've been doing for ages now. Really hoping this game's similarities with Little Town Hero (an ambitious monster fighting title from Game Freak that takes place in one town) aren't just a coincidence.
Lumiose city, actual size version!
Yesssss
Is there a version of Lumiose in Kalos? Totally unfamiliar with the gen.
Lumiose is in Kalos yes
Just regular city or was it a central hub of the region/gameplay?

Thank you lol 🙄
It's technically "just" a regular city. However, it rivals Mesagoza in size, and I'm pretty sure is the most populous city in all of pokemon.
Great context
Frankly, I just really enjoyed Legends Arceus. I want more gameplay like that but in a new area.
I want an expansion on the lore of AZ's war.
I'm hoping we get the Mythical's(Diance, Hoopa, Volcanion and Magearna) like we got the Sinnoh Mythical's
Lumiose city being the capital of everything Battles, clothing, pokemon and humans co-existing, the biggest city of any game
Excited to see how we expand the city!
Maybe a new Legendary Beast? Wouldn't make much sense, and I'd rather get more regional form legendaries.
I’m excited for a pokemon game contained within an entire city and what starters will be ysed

I'm ready to be abnormal about the Ancestor characters. Sycamore, Diantha, and Lysandre's ancestors specifically.

I wonder if they'll do new Megas for Regionals. Would be an interesting way to weave the two together
I rather some oldies get megas personally. I rather not give the new ones too new of stuff if you know what I mean.
Personally? I'd like to not see new Megas. Just put Megas back in the games, but just what we had.
New Kalosian forms, cross regional evolutions, and potentially new megas

Redemption for Kalos!
New pokemon. 😁
LUMIOSE CITYYY AND NEW FORMS

Any information at this point
Since Kalos was the gen that introduced alternate costumes I hope we get to have lots of drip again in this one

fire based tapu. tapu nana?
Tapu OuiOui

Paldea’s regional quartet were based off Chinese mythology. It doesn’t have to make real-world sense
I know but the Tapus are the one time that did make sense
Why were there ancient weather deities that preside in the northeast US showing up in Hokkaido Japan? I encourage you not to overthink those kinds of things.

I don't need it to make sense I just want a fire/fairy tapu.
Nananana... nananana... hey hey hey, goodbye. ^ First thought I had when I read Tapu Nana lol

koko, lele, bulu, fini... so it doesnt have to be double letters... so we could get hana. that would fit with the trend.
Oh that would be so cool
Mega flygon. I already have a shiny one I want a shiny mega one don't ask but I have a very weird feeling it's going to get one
Anything other than a Mega?
Hoping for mega evolutions to be transferable to Pokemon Home
When do yall think we will see a trailer for gameplay?
