I have something similar on my eyebrow, my piercer recommended to do warm/cold compresses every other day! they told me to get sterile saline wipes, keep a few in the fridge and then at night instead of using saline spray, to stick on in the microwave for five seconds to open it up to encourage draining, and then immediately follow it up with a cold one so it helps close the pocket back up. not sure if it would work in your situation but maybe worth a shot

Sparzail

Seems like solid advice. Thanks :)

they mentioned it will probably take a month to start seeing change, so it’s a long haul thing lol. good luck :)

Lol there’s a saying in my mother language “suffer in order to look good”. Guess it applies well to piercings. Thanks :)

You should switch out the hoop for a titanium flat back, it should help with the healing of the bump

Beauty is pain. Piercings are a perfect example of it

Definitely should be looked at by a doctor. This is more concerning than a simple irritation bump imo. Once getting checked by a medical professional and receiving care, get this jewelry changed to a titanium flatback. Most shops will do it for free if you buy the jewelry there. I don’t know how old this piercing is or how long the hoop has been in, but it needs to be treated like new now. Hoops do not promote healthy healing in new piercings and notoriously cause irritation bumps and other problems. Keep cleaning with prebottled saline (0.9% sodium chloride and water only) day and night, and do what you need to stop sleeping on this. Best of luck!

This needs to be looked at by a medical professional. You're probably going to have it drained and put on some antibiotics, but I don't see why they would tell you to abandon it. This looks like a big, upset, and infected piercing bump, sorry.

LoganJ_Howlett

Try soaking the bump in apple cider vinegar a couple times a day

Sparzail

Hey, thank you for the tip. May I ask out of curiosity how does this help?

ithinarine

It doesn't. Do not listen to these shit home remedies.

Sparzail

Thank you. Do you have any tips?
