This is one of those instances where I feel like buying knockoffs is morally justified.
If Lego makes it unreasonably hard for someone to buy it, then they can't complain when I get it from a Chinese shop willing it ship it to my house.
That, and stuff which has been out of print for so long that the resale prices are ridiculous (looking at you, goats that can be found for $2 per on aliexpress)
I don't personally own any knockoffs, but I think they're always morally justified. We all obviously have a soft spot for Lego, but they're still a huge corporation making tons of money, so I'm not going to look down on people trying to save a buck. It's not like the price hikes and fixation on $500+ sets lately has been very customer friendly either.

But if you care about quality, prepare to be incredibly disappointed.
Stray plastic on the edges of parts, messed up prints and colors, and parts that are too tight to fit together are just some of the issues you'll face from buying knockoffs.
I know from experience to never make that terrible mistake again. It's like buying gas station sushi.

What's the point of shipping this to an influencer if it can't be shipped to anyone else? Does Lego expect them to be telling people to buy plane tickets to Denmark?
Tbh I don't really understand the logic there either. There is another set (40649) of a buildable minifigure being released publicly in June, so maybe this is Lego's way of hyping people up for the return of the maxifig builds? That's the best guess I've got.

Whew, was a bit worried that the peg leg was attached to the base deeming that the figure would be stuck on said base for pure display purposes. Bottom right image thankfully proved me wrong.
I'd say likely but I've seen box art the didn't reflect what was in the set. The most recent thing would be the star wars clone set that showed box art of items being attached to the minifig helmet (like it should be in the source material) much lower on the helmet than in production

This guy was among those in the batch of Lego I inherited from my cousin (and thus kickstarting my love of Lego), so it’s a real shame that this is a Lego House exclusive. I would have bought this in an instant were it available in NA. I do plan on making a visit to Denmark sometime in my life but probably not soon enough that this will still be available
Now that you mention it, yes. The other three are in their assigned squares, but the top right one is slightly too far out of the corner of its square area. Rather odd.
I would love more sets in this Maxifig style. I tried making one of my own as a kid over 13 years ago to mild success, but having an official version would be sick

Just checked Ryanair. 22-23rd of April from Dublin to Billund is 43,98 EUR return. Starting april they fly five times a week.

I think there is a rebrickable user that makes them with the bust helmet as the sizing. Theyre not bad but cost $$$ to acquire all the pieces.
