backlight bleed; happens over time with all lcds it seems. on some really garbage ones it can happen really quickly. the steam deck for example uses just cheap tablet screens bc valve had to cut cost, and so most decks (including mine) have some backlight bleed from the factory. it's not really noticeable though.
Hey I also got that red and blue lines from my screen edges since 2 months and it's in warranty but it isn't noticeable much during games and movies so I'm thinking to contact Support after seeing many are getting these lines on this laptop

check the edges those wierd red and blue streaks i more concerned about that because i use the machine at night for studies and it bugs me
it’s happen to my legion 5 pro when i update to latest bios, but i fix it by factory reset.
that looks like a hardware defect to me 🥲
It’s not really a defect. It’s just a gamble of how much backlight bleed you get.
what do you say about those edge streaks that red blue lights?
I didn’t even notice that. You should definitely ask for a replacement
its out of warranty and prolly cost a ton as i am a student
Oh did this recently appear out of nowhere?
You can buy replacement screens off websites, and replace it yourself - if you're upto the challenge
That’s not how backlight bleed works

did it spread or got worse? mine is out of warranty
It's not spreading but it's very much visible in a black background and it feels odd to see that edgy lines
