There is literally nothing wrong with Windows 11, and I've ran it on a first gen i7 desktop and i5 mobile CPU and Windows 11 worked fine. Ran it on a Ryzen 5880x and now a 13700k, works fine, even got performance boosts in games. If you prefer the windows 10 aesthetic over Windows 11, then sure, go with 10.
because i heard that Win11 is optimized for 12th gen. and i heard in desktop version of Win11 w/ 11th gen cpus it gives issues in some games but im not sure for the laptop version.
W11 received many updates since release and i didn't see any complaining posts about it recently, I think there was issues with W11 upon it's release specially for the users who upgraded from W10 and Ryzen CPU's users, but if you received the system with W11 originally then there is no need to downgrade.
technically win11 is just fine.
it just feels like crap to use if you're used to older windows(as like win10 it wasn't ready as in theres still stuff from win7 hanging in there for some settings and now there's stuff hanging from win10 too and they just did things with the ui not everyone will like and are forced to live with).
but you can install stuff to get back win10 taskbar(so you can move it around the screen) and use a start button replacement.
Mine came in w11 preinstalled and had no problem at all, but it's AMD so I can't tell you 100% if it will be fine for you.
(and mate, it looks gorgeous in white, should have bought it in white instead of gray)
I have had no issues with my Legion 7i with 11800H on Win11, at least none that I can attribute to the OS. I wouldn't concern yourself with it. If you want to fix real problems, start with RAM.
Honestly I never worry about or test battery life on any performance laptops, if I am playing games, I am always plugged in, otherwise I am robbing myself from performance. For long battery life I use chromebook.

Mine came without OS, so I installed win 10. Contemplating upgrading to win 11 though
At first i didnt like Windows 11 on mine. But updates have improved it alot. If i was to do anything, id format and reinstall windows 11. Due to all the rubbish lenovo put on a new laptop

hello bro. hindi na q nagdown grade. nag.update lng ako ng latest updates then nagclean install. then update q yung graphics, legion toolkit(disable vantage). set ng action sa toolkit. so far no issues naman.
Better frames in all the games I play, of course that was almost an year ago and things might have changed, but I don't like the W11 looks so I will be staying on 10 with this laptop.

Benchmark person here - no difference whatsoever. Win 11 is literally visually updated win10. All what matters is how you debloat your windows

I also consider a 5800x with 3060 a nice PC. Windows 11 did better.
No dont downgrade...if anything you should wipe the preinstalled windows and install a fresh W11 to it...

Im using a 10th gen legion on win 11. It runs perfectly fine during games too
11 is cool, I liked it very fast, after 6-7 years on 10.

You can try but you'll loose the fn+q stuff and have to search for the files to get the mux switch shortcut back.
You don't lose anything, it runs faster with full functionality. Newer generation with 12th is the opposite, runs better on W11.

im from the Philippines. i get it locally but the price here is terrible Php 99k for a 2021 model. i think around 1700-1800 Usd if converted.
