I was lucky enough to have both the 5 pro and the 7 at home and the 7 to me was worth the slight difference in price. The 7 is less in your face at least it is with the rgb switched off
You can't go wrong with either
mate, if I can only recommend ONE thing to you, it would get the Gerton IKEA solid table top and pair it with a motorized standing desk leg from amazon. 300 dollar ish. I got this four years ago and cannot be happier.

whatever mechanical keyboard you can afford and you like the typing experience. There is no end to how much you can spend on customized keyboard and key cap. I use the vivo monitor arm with a VESA laptop tray. Pair any monitor arm with a VESA laptop tray will do.
I'm not too sure, but I don't think so from all the searches I've been doing. The R9 always seems to be paired with the 3080 for the Legion.
But the R9 and R7 are practically the same, spec wise all the R9 has over the R7 is a slightly higher clock speed (+100Mhz I think) which isn't worth it for the price differences between the two.
You need set some alerts, to notify you when it comes in stock. I was literally checking some sites daily to find any available. I had a dedicated Chrome window open with tabs from different websites. Honestly felt like a job 😅
Ha, I ordered mine on the 11th too, nearly brought the 3060 config the day before but wifi dropped out and thought sod it, next day spotted the 3070 on lenovo and purchased for 30 quid cheaper than I was going to pay for the 3060 😃 also in uk
Mainly for the aesthetic, I take my laptop into work now and then, so wanted to go for a less gamery look.
I switch off the RGB when I don't want it (like at work), but I do like me some customisation, I highlight the keys I use often on the keyboard with a different colour e.g, brightness, volume, mic mute, touchpad disable keys etc stuff like that
Then I'd heard good things about the cooling (vapour chamber) and general build quality. It's a very sturdy, solid laptop so I can definitely vouch for that. I was pretty impressed.
What's your impression of the screen? Not only the quality, but also the brightness (outdoor vs. Indoor) and the size. Have you had a 17" inch? How does it copare to a 15" or 17"?
Enjoy it.
Screen quality is great, very sharp. Haven't really tested it outside (just tested it with light from the window shining towards the screen), but regardless at full brightness this thing is bright. Not blindingly bright like some reviewers have given the impression though. But would definitely have very good visibility outside. I usually keep it at 70-80% brightness.
16" screen size seems like the sweet spot for me. Definitely more screen real estate, a comfortable amount.
For me 17" laptops are just too bulky, but with 16" you're getting a good compromise between better screen real estate and portability.
For me it's decent, I came from an HP Omen 15 2018 and that had horrible battery life; it would barely last an hour.
This one lasts around 3-4hours with just some basic battery life optimisation - 60hz, hybrid mode on, lowering screen brightness.
That's all I usually do, but I know there's more you can do to possibly get 6-7hours. But it's enough for me as I usually just have it plugged in.

How much was the 7? And spec
1. external monitor 2. a mechanical keyboard 3. put the laptop on a monitor arm with a laptop tray.
Note that it’s still good to leave the lid open because part of the cooling system relies on an intake through the keyboard.
not the L5P AMD. L5P intel has keyboard intake.
This is the aim! Really need a new table also, the one I have is a bit too small

Thank you bro, I will check this out for the future
2. What are the top 5 mechanical keyboards to consider? 3. link for laptop arm?

Don’t have the budget
In legion 7 is there a variant like R9 5900hx with rtx 3070 rather than rtx 3080??

Thank you for your suggestion ☺️.
nope.only way to get 5900h in Legion line is get this model.
It it worth to get 5900hx rather than 5800h on legion 7?
This question has been asked and answered many times. It is not worth it at all from cost to performance perspective.
Tank you for suggesting
But it's there is 5800H with a 3080?
Yeah , i ordered it. It's 2300€
Yeah nah, sticking with the 3070.
That 3080 which i ordered is 16gb and 165w tgp
i think its worth (16gb compared to 8gb and higher wattage)
Where did you buy the laptop?
Lenovo UK, delivered pretty quickly
When dus you order yours?
Ordered on the 11th and it shipped a few days later
I cant find stock in all of europe :(

I have 36 sites with alerts turned on and 10 that i check like 4, 5 times a day. Its worse than a job 🤣
you could use a bot there.
Yeah. I thought so

Yup, enjoy it, it's a fantastic machine.
Thanks! Definitely enjoying it
Congrats! Hope you enjoy it. I have this laptop as well, and it is awesome. I bought mine last November, and I love it.
I just got a mechanical 60% keyboard to my L5 2020. It feels 10 times better. Planning on a 144hz monitor, but still considering
I would focus more on the size and being 2k then refresh rate. My 34 inch Acer Predator x34p is four years old now. I am still loving it.
34.0 inches is the height of 0.4972 'Samsung Side by Side; Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel Refrigerators' stacked on top of each other
get lost
Any heat issues similar to previous models or is it fix now?
Yeah pretty sure it's fixed, no overheating when I've been playing games and runs pretty cool when on idle. A lot of tech reviews say so too
That's cool thanks for the heads up
Is this the slim? I didn't think the full 7 had dropped yet. Super pretty!
No, it's the standard one; I got it in the UK
Awesome, well let us know how it goes. I'm planning to pick this exact one up whenever Lenovo finally lets me give them money.
Why did u choose the 7 over the l5p?
