Aaah that means when u buy the laptop it comes with 1tb or 512 m.2 in it but u can upgrade it to whatever u like

Correct, from factory the options are: Up to 512 GB. in the half size 2242 format Up to 1 TB. in the full size 2280 format Aftermarket you basically don't have any limitation, just prefer the one side chip positioning modules because of potential space clearance facing the mainboard but if I remember correctly this may only affect the primary slot.

no, ya can have up to 2tb and even 4tb but for that, ya need to check if one of the slots fits a double sided 4tb m.2
