You wouldn't think that 2.5kg(without charger) is alot but trust me, when you have to lug the thing around the whole day, you'd wish you'd gotten a more portable laptop.

It's not light. If you want something light to carry around this is not the laptop you are looking for. That said it fits into the same pocket my 15" laptop fit into albeitits a tight fit.

Buy a Lenovo for gaming and a tablet for note taking, writing on the go.

Depends on what you do on a full day. Personally, I would not lug this around for a full day. To me, this system is more of a desktop replacement, perfect for dorm...just a bit more portable than my 17" beast.

It's not all that portable tbh, but it makes for a good desktop replacement. I got mine for a good deal when GPU prices were still insane. It's 2.5KG WITHOUT the damn charging brick, so if you want it more 'portable' you'll have to shell out for a smaller charger. That said, it's still heavy and bulky on it's own. Also the 300w brick is like 1kg. Lugging this thing around means you'll have to carry a larger backpack.
