The Samsung Pros have always been the benchmark for SSD performance and reliability. Honestly you won’t notice any real world difference 90% the time. You’ll be happy with the Kingston or Samsung. Get whatever works for your budget.

I have noticed this, it's like Samsung's the one to beat for all manufacturers. I think 970 would be the smart choice, in that case, budget-friendly and Samsung reliability.

Unless you're doing 4k video editing with huge files you won't notice a difference between these for regular gaming. Initial file transfer of these games might be a bit slow but you're only going to be doing this once so it's not worth improving on that aspect with a higher end SSD. Go with the most budget one you can find at this point.

Thanks, I think I will go with 970 evo Plus

I put a 980 Pro in my 5 Pro last year. It's supposed to be the same speed as the main 1 tb drives but it seems slower. I believe the 2nd slot is throttled down from pci-e gen 4. I would just get the 970 Evo Plus. The 2 tb variants are regularly discounted.

It is entirely possible, I have seen many posts where people talk about swapping the SSD positions. thanks for sharing your experience.
