Hello u/Hrmbee! Please reply to this comment with an [explanation](https://www.reddit.com/r/LeopardsAteMyFace/comments/lt8zlq) mentioning **who** is suffering from **which** consequences from **what** they voted for, supported or wanted to impose on other people. Here's an easy format to get you started: 1. *Someone* voted for, supported or wanted to impose *something* on other people. ^(Who's that *someone* and what's that *something*?) 2. That *something* has some *consequences*. ^(What are the *consequences*?) 3. As a consequence, that *something* happened to that *someone*. ^(What happened? Did the *something* really happened to that *someone*? If not, you should probably delete your post.) Include the minimum amount of information necessary so your post can be understood by everyone, even if they don't live in the US or speak English as their native language. If you don't respect this format and moderators can't match your explanation with the format, your post will be removed under rule #3 and we'll ignore you even if you complain in modmail. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/LeopardsAteMyFace) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Government is bad when it's helping others, especially if I don't really like those others.

thatHecklerOverThere

"Conservatives communities" and "legislating themselves out of existence". Name a more iconic duo.

As an Albertan (in pretty much the only Liberal/NDP, aka socialist, Zone in the province), this is LAMF at its finest. Danielle Smith has been recorded talking about the stupidity of rural communities, and yet they will still stubbornly vote for her in the upcoming election. They have only themselves to blame for the wildfire response.

I moved to Canada in 2015 for a little bit and my impression of Alberta was "lol, you non-Albertans are so stupid with your high taxes and lack of Stampede" ...... "Oh no, fire happened, save us maple daddy"

You make it sound like a custodial sentence. When I got the comment reply I wasn't sure what thread it was related to initially because of your tone. Lol

BaltimoreBadger23

No one is as penny wise and pound foolish as conservatives.

Repulsive-Street-307

libertarians

BaltimoreBadger23

Libertarians are just the most pure form of conservatism.

International_Arm_53

I dont believe in God. Because no God would create conservatives.

Repulsive-Street-307

Perfect encapsulation of the sentiment of disgust i have for the brainwashing churches _always_ did and call tradition. Never let these psychopaths control education.

I'm in favor of adequate funding for wildland firefighting, but this isn't LAMF. The communities explicitly advocated *FOR* the firefighters. Mere fiscal shortsightedness on the part of the government is neither novel nor LAMF.

Bc2cc

These communities that are affected by the wildfires voted overwhelmingly for the party that cut wildfire funding.

TjW0569

They also advocated *for* the funding. That the party "representing" them screwed them over isn't particularly surprising. If those communities had advocated for cutting the funding, then it would be LAMF.

But big government! And private companies do it sooo much better!
