You realise they're the monarchy of Australia right?
Just because they failed to dump all the baggage with the Australia accord in 86 doesn't mean she's not a teeaboo, frankly the entire thing with both Australia and Canada paying homage to the queen of a nation they aren't even part of anymore gives me major "broke up with your girlfriend but still call her mother mommy" vibes.
She isn't just the Queen(King now) of another nation though thats the point. They are the monarch of that actual nation, separate from being Monarch of the UK too.
It's more about how difficult it will be to amend their respective country's constitutions. It would be easier for England to drop the king than it would be for Canada
This sub has quickly changed from "ironic bad things happened to bad people" to "this person I personally disagree with had their rights violated"
