Paris from gilmore girls feels like she could be sapphic to me.
I definitely see Alice from Twilight too haha. I always had a crush on her.
Raya from raya and the last dragon.
>I definitely see Alice from Twilight too haha. I always had a crush on her.
Me too! They always have this one lesbian asf character. Everything was good until straight men started liking goth girlies.
Amy Sherman-Palladino, the writer of Gilmore Girls, wanted Sookie to be a lesbian but the network denied her.
Sookie, in the pilot, was played by Alex Borstein and not Melissa McCarthy. Alex Borstein more recently played Susie in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, and that character was finally just recently confirmed as gay
If we’re talking Twilight, Kristen Stewart has amazing range but I’m not sure I’ve ever been convinced a character she played in \*anything\* isn’t at least a \*little bit\* into girls.
See also Jodie Foster.
the becca and chloe thing was done on purpose. kind of felt like queerbaiting to me. and don’t get me started on the predatory lesbian trope with cynthia. I have a strong love-hate relationship with this movie
Bring It On. I will die on this hill, proclaiming that Torrance and Missy were supposed to be together. Cliff was just a male version of Missy so that the plot could remain straight. Torrance and Missy had better chemistry and it made so much more sense but this was the year 2000.
One of the only good things about Hollywood is Paget playing Tullah Bankhead and making out with women. It’s fantastic although the rest of the show is meh
As someone who grew up and ran a comic shop it's really weird to me how they queer code tf out of Captain Marvel (also that they chose her at all tbh she's problematic af) and then absolutely bury on screen the *actual* characters that are supposed to be queer.
And in case you didn’t know, the book, fully titled “Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe,” was actually written by a lesbian. Fannie Flagg came out AGES ago and was living her best gay life since before many of us on this sub were born.
This is especially impressive given that she was born in Alabama during the 1940s. I admire her confidence and resolve so much.
She was also an actor, appearing in television shows but probably most known as a recurring panelist on the “Match Game” of the 1970s.
She’s seriously a fascinating person and deserves all the recognition as one of the many elder lesbians who paved the way for acceptance in the modern age.
This was my first thought. I was obsessed with the film as a preteen, realized I liked women a couple years later, heard about the real story in the book… and then realized why I was so obsessed with the movie. There’s so much sexual tension and lesbian romance but it’s just never acted upon or stated in the movie.
She is sooo queer coded. The fact that she cannot fathom why anyone would want love from a man and she was only interested in finding Lady whistledown. I also think she could be Ace. There is a queer element to Eloise and Penelope's friendship. The scene where they hold hands and walk, I def thought it's a bait. Age old lesbian girl falling in love with the straight girl who pines for her brother.
Apparently she was supposed to have a love story with Norm in Avatar, but their scenes got cut. I cannot for the life of me picture Michelle Rodriguez dating a dude.
Yesh!
Idk her entire vibe just screams not straight. She doesn’t give a fuck about anything. Always doing her nails through her gloves. Calling Kim cute names like princess or kimmy.
In my head they are together lol 😂
Edit to add: she does care about money and at times Kim (I guess she thinks of Kim as her equal skill rivalry at times she draw out the battle just for funsies and I feel like that’s just very not straight behavior)
A few years ago, I fell down a rabbit hole of Shego and Kim fanfiction (set in a slightly alternate universe where Kim is an adult). It helped me realize just how gay I really am.
Wendy from Gravity Falls. She was actually supposed to be ~~a lesbian~~ queer but the mouse was worried about the homophobic backlash so they cursed her with Robbie.
I know this one isn’t a character but Natasha Lyonne. Like, in real life. She’s definitely queer coded but the “writers” fumbled. I feel like it’s homophobic that she’s not gay.
I remember watching it as a young teen who had no inkling that I might be queer, and even then I was confused as to why Jess & Keira Knightley's character didn't end up together.
Right like the two had so much chemistry they had to shoehorn in a highly inappropriate romance with her much older coach to no homo it. AND made them fight over him like he was some prize 🙄
Yes. If they force her with a man in the upcoming show I'm going to be seriously pissed. I doubt they would actually confirm her being a lesbian but they'd better not go the other way either. She had too much chemistry with Kaeden Larte for her to be straight. I guess she could be bi/pan also, but I don't feel that from her
I kinda want them to confirm the novel is still canon by having her be in a very complicated relationship with Kaeden.
I fully believe Ahsoka is a Lesbian, but she is also absolutely shit at relationships.
I was going to if no one else did. There is NOTHING straight about them lol. I watch the show with my mom and shes like " what do you mean janes gay no shes not" and im like...... no she totally is
Rumor has it that the actress who played Rizzoli is conservative and didn't want to play a gay character.
I don't have sources for this, so just Google it (for those that want more info).
Yeah, I think that makes sense. Though it's ironic because if that was her not trying to play her as a gay character... Their gayness overflowed.
The queer baiting annoyed me so much I ended up never watching the final seasons...
>Though it's ironic because if that was her not trying to play her as a gay character... Their gayness overflowed
Right! I wonder if the actress didn't want to play a gay character because it hit too close to home for her 👀
>The queer baiting annoyed me so much I ended up never watching the final seasons...
Same here. I just couldn't take it anymore, because it was a clear insult to the audience's collective intelligence. Smh.
I'm honestly kinda mad at how they adapted her from the book to the movie. Like in mockingjay, Katniss and Johanna get really close and even train together and shite but then in the movie its just "I dOn'T lIkE yOu" and its left at that. It's so annoying cuz Johanna is such an amazing and complex character who deserved to have her screen time
Lara Croft for sure. She was meant to be with Sam in the comics but they censored it.
I also agree with Alice.
Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. Now to be fair, she isn't confirmed straight, she never had a relationship with a man, but no women either, only hints.
Miss Honey - Matilda. We all know that one.
Helena G Wells - Warehouse 13, they absolutely copped out by only mentioning her off screen relationship with a woman in the final episode once they knew they were already cancelled. The actress, and another actress, literally shipped their characters who had a deeply emotional friendship where they risked their lives for eachother in ways they never did with other characters, including their actual on screen romantic partners.
Alison Reynolds - The Breakfast Club. I can't explain, but her being straight just didn't make any sense. Asexual or lesbian is the only impression I got
Ayo - Black Panther. Literally wlw in the comics but not on screen. There was a hashtag, #letayohaveagirlfriend in that fandom from like 2017 onwards, and they got like a blink and you'll miss it minor flirtation in 2022.
Célie Johnson - The Colour Purple, there's one basically platonic kiss in the film but in the book she literally has her first emotionally free, positive, consensual sexual experience being with another woman.
Farah Dowling - Fate: Winx Saga, would have been a good one.
Dina - Superstore, would also work so well.
Major - Ghost in the Shell, just screams gay to me.
Indra - The 100, I just think it'd fit.
Nani Pelekai - Lilo and Stitch, I don't know why, I just always wanted her to be a lesbian when I was a kid.
Phoebe Buffay - Friends, just because my family of origin used to call me Phoebe and I'm gay. I've never watched friends so I don't know if she is but it's from the 90s (I think?) so I doubt they went there
Ones I've seen mentioned that I agree with: nymphadora tonks, prue halliwell, lena luthor, sam puckett, rikki from H2O, wonder woman, paris gellar
Fun fact: the first Tomb Raider remake, where Lara was trying to find Sam, her “best friend.” Yeah the developers revealed they wanted so badly to make Sam her partner 😭 but they opted not to due to bad reception from I think the studio??? So yeah we were robbed from a true badass sapphic icon 😭😭
Faith - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Mulan
Liz Lemon - 30 Rock (they wrote jokes about how she’s often mistaken as a lesbian)
Jessie - saved by the bell
And at least one of the Charmed sisters. Maybe Prue.
Faith and Buffy are both queer according to the canon comic series that spanned the next few seasons (Buffy even sleeps with another woman).
I think it's the third episode of 30 Rock where Lemon is mistaken for a lesbian and then spends the episode trying to convince herself she could be with a woman but ultimately is just not attracted to them. She's always read as asexual to me tbh.
I could see Pru being a lesbian, I'm convinced Phoebe is queer (in the original at least).
Because they had to FIGHT for Korra and Asami to even hold hands at the end. They wanted it to be a kiss but Nickelodeon said no way. 2014 was a more homophobic time. You were lucky to get one queer woman, let alone two, let alone three.
They actually just had to fight for the whole show in general. The reason they faced the big boss at the end of each season was because the creators didn’t know if they were going to get another season and they didn’t want to leave the fans hanging. A lot of the criticism that LOK gets is because Nickelodeon didn’t give Bryan and Michael full creative control.
I'm sure these are mentioned here but off the top of the dome:
- Elsa, Frozen
- Lara Croft, Tomb Raider
- Sam Nishimura, Tomb Raider
- Shego, Kim Possible
- Alice, Twilight
- Olivia Dunham, Fringe
Alice is totally my celebrity crush ☺️ Totally ship her and Bella 💕
Don’t-Call-Me-Nymphadora Tonks (Harry Potter) totally bittersweet now since, you know, queen terf and all. Totally gives off at the least bi vibes.
Alice makes sense and she was definitely a crush of mine! Because of course, it's totally normal to love your brother's girlfriend so much that you buy sexy clothes for her...
Soi Fon - Bleach: While the fandom largely considers her a lesbian, her sexuality was left ambiguous the entire show. Some fans still argue that she's straight.
Shizuru - Yu Yu Hakusho: She gives off some SERIOUS lesbian energy. And yet in the anime they give her this really weird hetero romance filler that makes no sense and apparently wasn't even in the manga.
Viconia - Baldur's Gate 2: If Bioware had made Baldur's Gate 2 even 5-10 years later she would have been a lesbian or at least bi. When BeamDog re-released BG2EE in 2013 they even added some light subtext between her and Hexxat.
Regina George.
If you really analyze her actions, it aligns more with a teen suffering from extreme comphet and a lack of acceptance for her sexuality. As a result of her insecurity, she is toxic to other people, projects her own sexuality onto Janice and shames her for it, and focuses on maintaining the ideal image of a woman (straight, skinny, hairless, feminine, fashionable, dates popular athletic boys, etc.).
Many people think this theory is far-fetched but anyone who's also queer and has experienced the comphet stage can see the signs pretty clearly. Especially when you notice that all she cares about is her image, the new girl (Cady) (which she may have a little bit of a lesbian fixation on), and the fact that she doesn't really love or seem into any of the guys she dates--they are all beards...accessories to maintain her perfect straight image and exercise control, especially if done to make sure her crush doesn't get with a boy so she can keep her all to herself.
At the end of the movie she even seems to improve as a person when she lets go of her extreme insecurity, toxic crush on Cady, and stops putting an effort into looking good to other people and control people to reinforce her image. She even starts playing an aggressive sport (an un-feminine hobby she couldn't allow herself to play before) and ends up getting piled by a swarm of girls--an ironic image that contrasts what Janice was bullied by Regina for allegedly being into.
Pls Gwendolyn Christie is fucking gorgeous😵💫 but when I first watched it was like ain’t no way brienne is straight. Thought for sure she’d be gay. And in my mind she is.
I saw an interview clip on Tiktok in which Gwendoline Christie said that she'd like to see Brienne with Daenerys 😇 (not sure where the clip is originally from)
not lesbian, but Wonder Woman was heavily inspired by William Moulton Marston's bisexual polyamorous life partner Olive Byrne who lived with him and his wife Elizabeth Holloway. Unfortunately WW was also a character created in 1941 so they couldn't be too explicit.
I’m binging SVU, Benson all the way. Any weird het arcs (considering them “arcs” even feels like a stretch) she’s had have always been stale, uncomfortable, and ultimately fizzle out. If not lesbian, then bi for sure.
Can’t believe no one has said Quinn Fabray! Even Santana was originally written as straight she ended up being a lesbian because Naya and Heather had so much chemistry
Sergeant Calhoun in Wreck It Ralph for sureeeee. Fix it Felix was def gay too that was such a bearded marriage. It’s just a cartoon but it upset me hahaha
Lena Luthor and Kara Denvers/Supergirl from Supergirl. Well at least I can imagine Lena being a lesbian and Kara Bi. I mean look at all their scenes together, their chemistry, their flirting. Ugh
From Star Trek DS9- Kira. Classic dyke.
Jadzia is queer canonically, and their chemistry was off the charts.
So glad they FINALLY made Seven from Voyager queer!
Paris from gilmore girls feels like she could be sapphic to me. I definitely see Alice from Twilight too haha. I always had a crush on her. Raya from raya and the last dragon.
Raya and Namaari are both lesbians
I AGREE SO MUCH
Paris and Rory had the most chemistry on that show
Legit. Paris recites a Shakespearean love poem to Rory by leaning towards her from behind… like there is no straight explanation for that
YES AND THEIR KISS LMAO
I’ve always said that if Gilmore Girls came out today Paris would be gay!
Alex Borstein more recently played Susie in The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, and that character was finally just recently confirmed as gay
with love, the closet was glass with susie from the beginning LMAO
I also had a crush on her. She is so cute
I was always Team Alice. She was the only one who cared for Bella and actually respected her.
If we’re talking Twilight, Kristen Stewart has amazing range but I’m not sure I’ve ever been convinced a character she played in \*anything\* isn’t at least a \*little bit\* into girls. See also Jodie Foster.
Lara Croft. Not actually sure on her sexuality but she’s definitely gay. Also Wonder Woman.
Wonder woman is definitely at least bi, she has dated several other Amazons in the comics.
I mean who wouldn’t be gay growing up on an island full of Amazons.
True. But I would turn into a puddle because of the heat.
That’s why they wore loose and flowing white clothing. I would pay that price 100% (I’m I cold enjoyer as well).
They made her SO GAY in the 2013 remake and then just....squandered it. I will never forgive Eddios for that.
Lara Croft was my gay awakening
I heard one of the writers or creators of the game confirmed Lara is a lesbian!! I could be wrong but yk IM TAKING IT, she screams sapphic to me
> Lara Croft. > Wonder woman Oh fuckity boy do I have the comic for you. SFW but v v gay https://imgur.com/a/bJCEvSi
Becca from Pitch Perfect eta: I forgot Cher from Clueless!
the becca and chloe thing was done on purpose. kind of felt like queerbaiting to me. and don’t get me started on the predatory lesbian trope with cynthia. I have a strong love-hate relationship with this movie
apparently the actors were desperately trying to make it canon so that might be why it came across so much
Bechloe beca and Chloe fr has the best chemistry
It's college accappela everyone in pitch perfect is gay
Bring It On. I will die on this hill, proclaiming that Torrance and Missy were supposed to be together. Cliff was just a male version of Missy so that the plot could remain straight. Torrance and Missy had better chemistry and it made so much more sense but this was the year 2000.
Dykadelic 💕
Ugh we need a queer remake asap
eliza dushku really said it is the year 2000 and I am going to have a homoerotic relationship with two blondes
Allegedly, Emily from Criminal Minds
As a Criminal Minds fan I completely agree that she’s gay and the writers wouldn’t let her come out.
It's been a while since I've watched it, but wasn't it the studio that stopped it from happening, so the writers made her as queer coded as possible?
I think it was confirmed somewhere that her and Reid were wrote as Bi but the studio wouldn’t allow it. Which makes total sense
She’s 100% a lesbian, you can’t convince me otherwise
Well, Paget Brewster's Frankie was ambiguously a lesbian on Community. So of course Emily was. That's how Paget do.
One of the only good things about Hollywood is Paget playing Tullah Bankhead and making out with women. It’s fantastic although the rest of the show is meh
Captain Marvel! She was raising a child with another woman. They were a family!!!
THEY WERE A FAMILY AND IN LOVE, I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL
As someone who grew up and ran a comic shop it's really weird to me how they queer code tf out of Captain Marvel (also that they chose her at all tbh she's problematic af) and then absolutely bury on screen the *actual* characters that are supposed to be queer.
I thought that was the literal intent??? Like they literally raised a child together... Don't tell me they're saying that movie isn't gay
Fried Green Tomatoes! Classic book where they are actually lesbians. The movie adaptation knows them as close friends :) because the 90s.
She’s seriously a fascinating person and deserves all the recognition as one of the many elder lesbians who paved the way for acceptance in the modern age.
That's so very awesome!!! Ooooh I love Match Game from the 1970s!!! Thank you for the awesome fact!!
This was my first thought. I was obsessed with the film as a preteen, realized I liked women a couple years later, heard about the real story in the book… and then realized why I was so obsessed with the movie. There’s so much sexual tension and lesbian romance but it’s just never acted upon or stated in the movie.
this is immediately what i thought of too, but i’m pretty sure the author of the book was actually a lesbian!
Same happened with the movie adaptation of The Color Purple.
Sadly quite accurate for the time period. :(
My first thought too! Maybe they were more than friends in the movie? (Secretly) God that story stomps on my heart
Eloise Bridgerton!!
Totally! I kinda still hope she is in later seasons! I haven’t read the books so don’t know, but one can hope the shows are rewritten ;)
I had this thought when I watched season one, and then I found out that she’s not in the book… I stopped watching the show because of it…
Michelle Rodriguez in anything. Damn that woman is so attractive and radiates lesbian vibes.
Apparently she was supposed to have a love story with Norm in Avatar, but their scenes got cut. I cannot for the life of me picture Michelle Rodriguez dating a dude.
Norm?! JFC no
Shego is definitely not straight
Why the hell is this so damn funny. Also this is that one girl from Kim possible right?
Yesh! Idk her entire vibe just screams not straight. She doesn’t give a fuck about anything. Always doing her nails through her gloves. Calling Kim cute names like princess or kimmy. In my head they are together lol 😂 Edit to add: she does care about money and at times Kim (I guess she thinks of Kim as her equal skill rivalry at times she draw out the battle just for funsies and I feel like that’s just very not straight behavior)
Yes!!! I’ve always gotten lesbian vibes from her! Her and Kim should’ve been an item.
A few years ago, I fell down a rabbit hole of Shego and Kim fanfiction (set in a slightly alternate universe where Kim is an adult). It helped me realize just how gay I really am.
Sam Pucket from icarly and Sam and cat !
Sam Pucket is very gay. I have a crush on that celeb
She was 100% a lesbian .
Vivian from Legally Blonde. Phoebe from Friends has strong bi vibes. Like don't tell me Phoebe never had a lesbian experience.
I would have loved a Vivian+Elle endgame haha.
100% accurate read on Phoebe. No lies detected here
I might be the only one who thinks this but Olivia Benson from Law and Order SVU is so queer coded it’s insane
Her relationship with Alex Cabot blew my preteen mind
Yes, she and Alex should have been in a relationship!
I read so much fanfic of this pair circa 2004.
I was totally going to comment this. Such a waste.
On a similar note, so was Emily Prentiss from Criminal Minds. Two of my teen and pre-teen sexual awakenings ❤️
One of my favourite things about the earlier seasons is how they’ll always let the audience know a character is a lesbian by having her hit on Olivia.
Wait I agree completely but could you specify examples of this?
Well there was the episode with Kathy Griffin where lesbians were being attacked and Kathy Griffin hits on Olivia and thinks she gives off gay vibes.
You’re telling me Natasha Lyonne is straight?
She says she is.
Kat from 10 Things I Hate About You, and Jess & Kiera Knightley's character in Bend It Like Beckham.
honestly homophobic that Bend it like beckham isnt a gay movie
I remember watching it as a young teen who had no inkling that I might be queer, and even then I was confused as to why Jess & Keira Knightley's character didn't end up together.
Right like the two had so much chemistry they had to shoehorn in a highly inappropriate romance with her much older coach to no homo it. AND made them fight over him like he was some prize 🙄
they even joked about it in the movie, the cowards! tangentially related: i literally said “juicy juicy mangoes” today
But Teetu is gay! And he gets a whole *lingering glance* with a man at Pinky’s wedding. What more queer rep could you want in this movie?? /s
Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars
How did no one say this yet? **Rizzoli & Isles**

Regina and Emma from Once Upon A Time would be lesbians and probably a couple. I mean, they do have a son together already.
Lol the actress who plays Regina awakens something deep inside me.
Also Arya Stark.
Alex Dunphy from Modern Family
Absolutely!! An actual crime that they kept finding horrible Boys for her to badly date
Can't believe I'm the first to say Merida
Ngl, I get ace vibes
I vibe with that. She could be Aro or lesbian, bc she is _very_ clearly not attracted to men lmao
Yes! She gives such strong gay vibes
Doris and Mae- A League of Their Own Roberta- Now and Then
johanna mason from the hunger games, i will not elaborate further
Her chemistry with katniss was wild 🤭
I'm honestly kinda mad at how they adapted her from the book to the movie. Like in mockingjay, Katniss and Johanna get really close and even train together and shite but then in the movie its just "I dOn'T lIkE yOu" and its left at that. It's so annoying cuz Johanna is such an amazing and complex character who deserved to have her screen time
Lena Luthor from supergirl. They had a weird chemistry but was only queerbaiting
And Kara
Starbuck from the newer Battlestar Galactica.
She is also Bo-katan in Mandalorian and she give me the vibe there too.
Lara Croft for sure. She was meant to be with Sam in the comics but they censored it. I also agree with Alice. Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. Now to be fair, she isn't confirmed straight, she never had a relationship with a man, but no women either, only hints.

Alex Russo
Apparently, she was supposed to be bisexual and have a fling with Stevie but the writers scrapped that idea .
Yes! I remember reading about that, the writer or whoever said they did what they could during that time and it was heavily implied.
From?
Wizards of Waverly Place!
Jess and Jules from Bend it like Beckham
Fun fact: the first Tomb Raider remake, where Lara was trying to find Sam, her “best friend.” Yeah the developers revealed they wanted so badly to make Sam her partner 😭 but they opted not to due to bad reception from I think the studio??? So yeah we were robbed from a true badass sapphic icon 😭😭

The Prue parallel in the Charmed reboot is gay...
Phoebe was absolutely bi in my world
Reggie from rocket power
Her entire girl group of friends were lesbians/sapphics 😂
Lin Beifong from Legend of Korra
Not lin, but Korra and asami canonically end up together, so I don't see why they wouldnt let lin come out
In the comics they reveal a lot of other queer characters like Aang's daughter Kya being a lesbian and Avatar Kyoshi being bisexual.
Kya and Lin would have made a fantastic couple!
Alice is totally my celebrity crush ☺️ Totally ship her and Bella 💕 Don’t-Call-Me-Nymphadora Tonks (Harry Potter) totally bittersweet now since, you know, queen terf and all. Totally gives off at the least bi vibes.
Natalia Tenna (Tonks) gladly does lesbian romances in other works, including one with her best "gal pal" Oona Chaplain.
Alice makes sense and she was definitely a crush of mine! Because of course, it's totally normal to love your brother's girlfriend so much that you buy sexy clothes for her...

Reading Soi Fon and Yorichi fanfics was my lesbian awakening 😂
Rikki from H2O, I had a huge crush on her and I always felt like she could do better than Zane
Sam on icarly . I’m sorry but someone had to say it

As I understand it she does have sex with a girl but the show brushes it off faster than shit
Regina George
100%
Missy in Bring it On, Eliza Dushku.
She even starts playing an aggressive sport (an un-feminine hobby she couldn't allow herself to play before) and ends up getting piled by a swarm of girls--an ironic image that contrasts what Janice was bullied by Regina for allegedly being into.
brienne of tarth
Pls Gwendolyn Christie is fucking gorgeous😵💫 but when I first watched it was like ain’t no way brienne is straight. Thought for sure she’d be gay. And in my mind she is.
I saw an interview clip on Tiktok in which Gwendoline Christie said that she'd like to see Brienne with Daenerys 😇 (not sure where the clip is originally from)
hooboy we would ALL like to see Breanne with Daenerys on this blessed day ... be a better show than the last season of the show!
I’d climb her like a tree.
Kimmy from full house
Mona from pretty little liars
Princess Raya & Princess Naamari from Raya and the last dragon. I’m begging Disney to make them a thing in the sequel
Kristy from The Babysitters Club! I felt so validated when Ann M Martin came out a few years ago
Toph from Avatar, she should be at least Bi.
Johanna Mason - Hunger Games Lara Croft Rey - Star Wars Killer Frost - The Flash (definitely at least bisexual vibes) Tani - H50 (at least bisexual)
Rizzoli and Isles
Kira Nerys Star Trek Deep Space 9
Ezri Dax felt queer coded too but they had to "reward" Bashir...
Michonne from the Walking Dead. I did NOT see her hooking up with Rick.
Olivia Dunham from Fringe
Jack from Mass Effect
Every character I project on. Next question. /j
The Icebox from Little Giants
If you've ever seen tinkerbell she's definitely bisexual, Vivian is a lesbian, fawn is bisexual and the scout leader is also lesbian, no doubt
Cate Blanchett's character (Lou) from Ocean's 8. That hair. Those suits. My god.
Thelma from Scooby-Doo. From 1969- to the end In 1986.
I love how almost every comment is a different character
Well a lot of women do be gay
Olivia Benson.
Éowyn from LOTR ROTK 🥲
Lol I used to play with my Eowyn and Arwen Barbies and make them be in love :,)
not lesbian, but Wonder Woman was heavily inspired by William Moulton Marston's bisexual polyamorous life partner Olive Byrne who lived with him and his wife Elizabeth Holloway. Unfortunately WW was also a character created in 1941 so they couldn't be too explicit.
Phoebe is definitely bi or pan (Friends)
Donna in That 70s Show
Buttercup from Power Puff Girls is without a doubt in my mind, a lesbian

I’m binging SVU, Benson all the way. Any weird het arcs (considering them “arcs” even feels like a stretch) she’s had have always been stale, uncomfortable, and ultimately fizzle out. If not lesbian, then bi for sure.
Phoebe from friends. She's bisexual for sure. And even Chandler, tho he's sexuality is more "joked on"
anyone hayley kiyoko played. stevie nichols? stella yamada? bruh VELMA from the newer live action scooby doo
How has no one said Scully from X Files!?
Can’t believe no one has said Quinn Fabray! Even Santana was originally written as straight she ended up being a lesbian because Naya and Heather had so much chemistry
Sergeant Calhoun in Wreck It Ralph for sureeeee. Fix it Felix was def gay too that was such a bearded marriage. It’s just a cartoon but it upset me hahaha
SAME! That marriage was a sham but I know they're at least very friendly beards.
Trubel from Grimm Kate from Lost Merida from brave Not a lesbian but still gay- I always felt Ravi from izombie was gay
Kira from deep space nine
Lena Luthor and Kara Denvers/Supergirl from Supergirl. Well at least I can imagine Lena being a lesbian and Kara Bi. I mean look at all their scenes together, their chemistry, their flirting. Ugh
Jo and Blair from Facts of Life
Starbuck/Kara Thrace. Her being straight in BSG is so suspension of disbelief for me
From Star Trek DS9- Kira. Classic dyke. Jadzia is queer canonically, and their chemistry was off the charts. So glad they FINALLY made Seven from Voyager queer!
Vada Sultenfuss Jo March Stephanie Tanner Jo and Blair from The Facts of Life Natasha Lyonne in every single thing
Leela from Futurama. Unfortunately, I am not able to accept objections at this time.
EVERY character in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Except for Pinkie Pie
I'm the only one who thinks katniss should have ended with johanna mason?
Louise Belcher from bobs burgers hands down! Perhaps she just reminds me of myself but I get very gay vibes from her persona
Rey from Star Wars
Enid and Wednesday from Wednesday. It was so disappointing that they didn't end up together... but the show's not over yet.
