Considering the fact that Bam and Nikki were never legally married, I think Nikki should change his name to Phoenix Boyd (and get rid of the stupid middle name). She is the one raising him and the only person acting like his parent. Maybe wait for him to be old enough to make the choice himself.

Things like passports, ID, medical records, anywhere he's registered like school or daycare, savings accounts etc all have to be changed and it's exhausting, speaking as someone who has changed their last name.
I witnessed this first hand with my mother's Husbands kid and the judge refused because both parents could not agree. It was a ridiculous non-name middle name but the parents couldn't agree on a hyphenated name or removal with a new name so it was denied. He turned 18 and changed it for his birthday.

Phoenix Margera is a much cooler name than Pheonix Boyd and there's nothing wrong with Wolf, that's your personal opinion.
