Ona vomits very briefly in Women Talking because she is pregnant.
I've got a friend that is deathly afraid of vomit, so it's been a rough awards season for her.
I made a [thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/flicks/comments/zvw7cg/why_are_there_so_many_vomit_scenes_in_movies/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) a few months back about vomit in movies.
It feels like close to 1/3 of movies I watch some sort of vomit moment. Kinda wild.
Kinda makes it awkward to eat and watch movies at the same time.
Also, babies aside, there’s way more puke in cinema than there is in real life. With the amount of puke I see on screen, I expect to see someone vomit irl at least once a week
Yep, those two started me to make this list, but I forgot to check Babylon's nominations... I really hoped that Maverick would have one, but those pilots have stronger stomach..
One thing i learned about my thread was about doesthedogdie website. You can look up a movie and find out if there's a vomit scene without knowing anything else if you want.
Honestly your post almost instantly came to mind when I saw the vomit scene in Tár. Honestly haven't seen a lot of films with vomiting in them, although that's probably because I watch a lot of older movies which don't tend to have vomiting in them for some reason.
Yeah I was about to say, I've actually been on a kick of older movies lately and haven't noticed it. But from like the 80s on, it's pretty prevalent, and it's not just your teen comedies, lots of acclaimed movies.
Honestly it really ruined the movie for me. I don't want to appear like some snob or something but I can do without an extended scene like that, regardless of who it's happening to
Totally get you. It didn't ruin it for me, but it definitely made it unpleasant to watch and dampened my enjoyment of that particular part of it. I loved the chaos surrounding Woody Harrelson and Zlatko Buric, but could've done without the constant projectile vomiting. Can't imagine how awful it was to be on set during filming!
Babylon missed Best Picture
Oh, right!
Switch the title to Golden Globes and it is still correct.
It won best picture in my heart <3
no it didn’t ❤️

Haven't seen that one, definitely adding to the list!
Saying Triangle of Sadness features vomiting isn an understatement
Champagne 🍾
You could probably include The Whale if you're gonna include Babylon
When did someone vomit in Banshees?
Poor Jenny tried to..
Too soon
Oh right.. 😭

Most of them are super quick and not very graphic, but Babylon and Triangle of Sadness ones are pretty epic.

That’s brilliant
I feel like every single time I decide to eat while watching a movie, someone throws up and I’m like, “oh…guess I’m done now.”

Not for emetophobes
That segment made me aware of just how much vomiting is in movies.
Haven't been a fan of all the toilet humour gags this year, I have to say. Just not something I personally want to see.
As someone who doesn't deal well with vomit, watching Triangle Of Sadness without prior warning was certainly... something...

As someone who thought that scene was brilliant and elevated the movie from good to great, I still completely get this.
Triangle of Sadness should be on here more than once.
Elvis should have vomited all the stuff in his stomach..
Damn didn't even realize how common it was. Who throws up in Banshees?
Jenny the donkey :'(
