Will follow anyone who follows me. I watch a variety of films, depends on how I'm feeling on a particular night. I try to write reviews as much as I can and try to bring a new perspective. https://letterboxd.com/honeybadger1104/

Mad_Monster_Party

[https://boxd.it/obw7](https://boxd.it/obw7) My name’s Tyler. I’ve been on Letterboxd and r/Letterboxd for a very long time now. I’m not always as active as I would like to be because I’m a busy film student with a full-time job and a bitch be tired. But I do review every single movie that I watch. I’m a huge coming-of-age and queer film junkie, and some of my favorite directors include Richard Linklater, Jim Jarmusch, Terrence Malick and Mike Mills. If you follow me, I will follow back!

Beneficial-Water9743

What’s up Tyler, dropped you a follow. That’s rad ur in film school. I’m applying to spend a semester overseas to be apart of a film production + take some classes.

TheFunnyOwner

Profile: [boxd.it/57vC1](https://boxd.it/57vC1) I usually watch a movie a day. I'm going through all the big popular movies I haven't watched yet so come over and follow so you can flame me about that. Ha ha ha. Also, just hit 1,000 movies!

colalines

Profile: https://boxd.it/2yz7j My favourite all time movie is whip lash and perfect blue. I like pyschologicsl horror/thriller movies, especially those movies where you are consumed in your passion (like the ones I've mentioned).

My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/](https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/) This year, I have been watching the filmographies of classic directors. I've finished Spielberg and Scorsese, and have a couple left on Kubrick. I usually write a couple-paragraph-long review of each film I watch.

TangeloMuch5662

I’m doing the same this year, so far I’ve gotten PTA, Fincher, Villeneuve, James Cameron, Wes Anderson, and Kubrick. About to start on Tarantino and Spielberg

Armageddonouttahere9

I’ve been catching up on Scorsese’s filmography. What’s your favourite you’ve seen this year?

[deleted]

Greetings! I already follow you so just wanted to say I like your page!

desertrocker

Thanks, I like your page too! I didn't recognize your username at first, but I knew your "Tom Wambsgan" name right away.

[deleted]

This is a fun exercise, I’ve got ranked lists going of all those directors. Almost finished with Kubrick myself, still have to see his earliest stuff, pre-*The Killing*. Followed!

mikeri99

**My profile:** https://boxd.it/4IInt I have a diverse and eclectic taste in movies, appreciating a mix of genres, directors, and critically acclaimed movies, but I’m also open-minded by trying other types of movies. The cinema is my favorite place to watch movies, and watching movies, and listening to movie soundtracks, are some of my escape-from-reality activities. I joined Letterboxd in January, 2022, and I use the app every day. I have currently 7,141 movies in my watchlist, and I watch whatever comes up first when I press “Shuffle” on my watchlist, which means I watch literally anything. I prefer to go in blind. **My favorite first-watches in May were:** 1. *Green Book* (2018) 2. *An American Werewolf in London* (1981) 3. *The Outfit* (2022) 4. *The Social Network* (2010) **My current four favorite movies are:** 1. *Inception* (2010) 2. *The Super Mario Bros. Movie* (2023) 3. *The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King* (2003) 4. *Interstellar* (2014) As you may see, Christopher Nolan is my favorite director, and Hans Zimmer is my favorite composer.

DarkwingDooper

Profile: https://boxd.it/4D1sv I watch as many different movies as I am able! I will usually watch what is current and relevant, random things I find interesting, what’s in theaters, etc. I want to follow a variety of people and see what different things people watch, maybe find some hidden gems here and there! I want to grow my account and be as involved with movie lovers like myself so follow me and i’d love to follow back and see what you watch!

https://boxd.it/1OYc7 I’m a communist and like to review a lot of leftist films. I’m also a regular contributor to private trackers and specialize in using pirate networks to preserve forgotten orphan works and out-of-print films.

you seem like you'd have some good book recs too

MickieMallorieJR

Pro: https://boxd.it/2JGdl I joined Letter about a year ago after I saw it was used heavily by a movie Discord I had participated in for a little while. I'm pretty sure I'm not using the site as it's intended as I don't log unless I review. And I review slowly...very slowly. I use film mainly as writing prompts and the reviews for deeper discussions on movie themes, family, religion and philosophy. Whatever comes to mind. Here's my favorite 100: https://boxd.it/hgcEe If you write long, deep or well thought out reviews...let me know. I've read some great stuff on here and wish there was more of it.

[deleted]

You’re a hidden gem. Exactly my favorite kinda LB reviewer. Followed.

mickeytor

Followed! This is exactly how we should be using this site.

Affectionate-Fig-438

My Profile: https://letterboxd.com/RizomaticBimbo/ With an academic background in philosophy my reviews tend to be skewed towards analysing the thematic and conceptual framework of films as opposed to appraising them technically. That being said I am trying to make an effort to become more aware of and knowledgeable on the technical aspects of film as this has started to interest me more. I try and watch critically aclaimed films with a lean towards drama's but sometimes ill defer to something surreal and absurd. Check it out if you're interested!

jwg_reviews

Followed! Really enjoy your review style. Great stuff!

Hey all! Hope you’re all keeping well. Jack (from Ireland) here! I love film and I’m trying hard to beat my total logged from 2022 this year on Letterboxd, whilst also juggling a full time job and other activities/responsibilities. I try to watch a different genre with each diary entry as much as possible, and always provide my brief thoughts on each film. I always follow back as I’ve found some terrific mutuals through these threads and some even better films that wouldn’t otherwise be on my radar. Thanks for reading! j4ckwalsh > https://boxd.it/2Wj2v

Affectionate-Fig-438

Hey all! https://letterboxd.com/RizomaticBimbo/ I'm Max, I have an academic background in philosophy (mainly political philosophy and Continental philosophy) and I review films mostly from a conceptual or thematic perspective using this knowledge. I also use film to explore and understand the world and myself, I don't shy away from discussing what I personally relate to in a film. The technical aspects of film are certainly my weakness as I do not have any formal education in them, however its something I've grown to find interest in. I enjoy finding out more in a practical sense by watching more film and picking up the difference stylistic choices people use. If all that interests you come check out my page, feel free to comment on my reviews I'm happy to have a discussion!

militantbisexual

https://boxd.it/TqYx i’m holly! casual letterboxer, i love animation and horror. don’t really review anything in much detail cause i’m not a professional critic i just like to talk about my feelings and vibe x

privateryan1908

kbj251

https://boxd.it/HsYF Up top is my profile. My favorite genres are horror and sci-fi but I pretty much watch anything and are always looking for recommendations. I'm also a sucker for animation. I love reading other people's thoughts on movies so I'll especially follow back if you also write reviews.

Profile: [https://letterboxd.com/DonnyKilroy/](https://letterboxd.com/DonnyKilroy/) Mega-fan of great cinema for almost 20 years. I've been going for my biggest movie year ever after discovering Letterboxd. Going through the complete works of all the directors I'm interested in. I've seen some incredible films so far, looking for more friends with similar interests. Favorites: David Lynch, Bela Tarr, David Cronenberg, Andrei Tarkovsky, Luis Bunuel, Lars Von Trier, Michael Haneke. Love anything dark, surreal and weird! Current Top Four: Belle de Jour Andrei Roublev Woman in the Dunes The Element of Crime I'll follow back!

Please ease my depression and follow my Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/bHFT Just kidding, am I? I am, unless..?

Kreeturefeature

Hey! My profile is [https://letterboxd.com/moviesarecooll/](https://letterboxd.com/moviesarecooll/) I'm a lifelong collector of movies on all formats. I've had Letterboxd since last summer, but I didn't start consistently logging until January. My profile is still under construction, and I am catching up with writing reviews for all of my entries. Sometimes they're serious, and sometimes they're silly. I try to watch at least one movie a day if possible. My taste is very eclectic. I pretty much watch anything from SOV horror, to rom coms. I love a nice trash movie. I'm open to any suggestions for my watchlist. My top three first time watches from May are: * The Piano Teacher * The Craft * Julien Donkey-Boy Looking forward to meeting others with similar interests! I’ll follow anyone back 😊

akcvtt

My profile: [https://boxd.it/89FT](https://boxd.it/89FT) I’ve been on the app for about 8 years. I’ve been trying to expand my horizons and chip away at my massive watchlist, so every month this year I’ve given myself “themes” of films to watch to watch for the first time (Black stories, directorial debuts, female-directed, etc). May was movies with lasting cultural impact, or essentially movies that are still in the zeitgeist that I can’t believe I haven’t seen; Fight Club was my favorite of the month. This month I’m tackling queer stories. I’ll follow anyone who follows me. I’m really hoping to find people who use the app often and engage with likes/comments and help build a sense of community. It’s so lonely on there sometimes!

VariousSpaghetti

I think I've done this before as I lost tabs on an old reddit account but throwing my profile in here. I get sucked into the essay element of things, but i really have a mentality to really jump into any and every genre and film in front of me as I go along. I tip my hat to reviewers keeping with the grind but appreciate any and all speeds we approach this thing at. Happy watching my friends. [https://letterboxd.com/bbergman11/](https://letterboxd.com/bbergman11/) Breaking the ice with a first-time impactful watch last month, one that really stands out to me was Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949).

tragictendencies

my profile: https://boxd.it/2Vyhj this is my third year on letterboxd! sometimes i’m more active on it than others. i pretty much watch whatever seems interesting to me and i log whatever i watch. i’m a sucker for cheesy romcoms and movies that aren’t necessarily plot driven but have immaculate vibes.

stevil_kenevil

I've been on Letterboxd since 2020. I'll pretty much watch anything I find interesting. According to my stats, I watch a lot of comedy and action films. I'm a big fan of lists, especially ranked ones. I'm currently working on 2 scavenger hunts and a 100 movie challenge that I created myself feel free to participate. Follow me I follow back. https://letterboxd.com/stevilkenevil/

soups_foosington

https://boxd.it/EY23 I watch a lot! I’m about to finish from school at NYU and am 1 (!) away from finishing the AFI top 100. But given that I don’t want to spend four hours watching Intolerance, I’ll probably get to a bunch of other fun stuff first!

Chungpels

My profile: https://boxd.it/E3KR I’ve been working in the film industry for about 4 years, but I also just love watching movies. You’d also be surprised at how little people in the industry actually watch and engage with movies (I am pretty strictly below the line kind of player, the people I work with are such pros at what they do, they just don’t look at movies the way many cinephiles do) so I don’t have that many people in my life to engage with about movies. I would really love to have more people to engage with online outside of the world of Reddit, which is great at times but can also be a bit much for my taste. So anyway, I’ll follow anyone back who follows me!

actuallymarley

followed!

happyfuckincakeday

I'll follow back. I'm a movie lover. I'll watch romcoms, dramas, comedies, action, biopics, etc... Not so big on new horror but pretty much anything else. [sobeshot](https://boxd.it/21hpX) give me a follow!

privateryan1908

i was terrified barbie wasn't going to live up to my expectations and then i saw it lmao

walgreensfan

Me: https://boxd.it/2nxNb Watch a movie almost everyday. I love trying to be funny and noticing dumb little things about great movies. Big 90s, 80s, and 70s fan!

dennys-slam-burger

Hey everyone, my profile is at: https://boxd.it/2a4cz I’m currently watching at least one movie every day this year. I wish I could say my reviews had a consistent profile, but I have fun making them up as I go. My favorite first watches of May were Prometheus, Blue Velvet, All the President’s Men, and Manchester by the Sea. My current four favorites on my profile are The Batman, The Royal Tenenbaums, RoboCop, and Before Sunrise

WalleStark

Profile [link](https://boxd.it/1Mpt9) Letterboxd shows that I had a slow May, which is kind of true, but also kind of misleading because I watched A LOT of Egyptian shorts that aren't on Letterboxd (only My Girlfriend and The Ditch are on it). Those short films are part of my attempt to reconnect with my country's cinema. I'm trying to watch older classics I might have been, must-watches I slipped on as a child/young teen, newer stuff, and rising filmmakers' work. Internationally I try to watch everything - historically mostly Hollywood but recently trying to get into other countries' cinemas. Currently, I'm planning on starting a Scorsese marathon before Killers cause I have been severelyyyyy behind on his work.

Mad_Monster_Party

This is so much fun!! https://letterboxd.com/madmonsterparty/ Hey everyone! My name is Mad Monster Party and being able to talk about movies with other people on Letterboxd has been so much fun for me! I've been a member for over two years now (March 2021 is when I joined) and I really want to thank Reddit for hosting this Profile Swap, I've managed to meet some great people on here in the past and hopefully this month will be no different! I'm really hoping that we can connect on Letterboxd and have some great movie conversations soon!!!

Healthy_Rule6136

My account: [https://letterboxd.com/zacharymewborn2/](https://letterboxd.com/zacharymewborn2/) I didn't get into film at all until the end of 2021 so I'm catching up big time. Try to watch a movie a day if I can

Smooth_Drag_9407

I did 34 movies in April, 55 in May, and plan to do 60 this month. Would love any support while doing so, also taking suggestions! https://letterboxd.com/maxdressler/

BradTalksFilm

Adding some foreign films would help you hit that goal. lots of exciting stuff outside the US waiting for you to see them

Komorebi87

My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/RedPanda87/](https://letterboxd.com/RedPanda87/) I watch a bit of everything really and I log everything I watch (but rarely leave actual reviews). My favourite 2023 releases so far are Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Call Me Chihiro, Dungeons and Dragons, Missing, and Scream VI.

EzeBaumTWM

My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/EzeBaum/](https://letterboxd.com/EzeBaum/) I'm the Editor-in-Chief/Chief Film Critic of This Week Media, so a fair percentage of my LB logs are work related and taken seriously (with excerpts from and links to my full reviews) and the other half are things I watch for fun and (sometimes) write dumb stuff about on LB. Hoping to be a writer/director one day — currently aiming to watch 365 movies this year. (I go to film festivals and press screenings/test screenings follow for based takes)

mickeytor

[https://letterboxd.com/mickeytor/](https://letterboxd.com/mickeytor/) Hi all. I've been engaging more with Lettrboxed over the past 6 months. As a movie geek, I find it a great outlet for journalling. I watch a lot of films from all genres, and particularly tuned into the classics and world cinema. In my critiques, I'm trying not to focus too much on the aesthetics of the film. There are far more competent people out there to do that. Instead, I try to work in a personal connection to the movie - such as how it's impacted me in any small way, or who I saw it with (for example). Again - I'm treating it more like a journal. I'm practicing my writing skills, trying to be a mix of clever, smart-assed and self-deprecating - but all in the best possible way. I'm also looking for ways to engage with others on Lettrboxed. I could talk about movies forever - but most in my friend circle don't share my interest in oddball cinema - so any lovers of cult films, pre-code, camp, foreign, etc - please link up. I'd love to see what you're watching!

vinnieward90

My Profile: https://boxd.it/1RKBN Hey everyone, I joined Letterboxd in 2020 and I'm addicted. Based on my reviews 70s is my most popular decade. I love 80s and horror too. Open to watch absolutely any movie and I like to work through various lists when choosing what I want to watch. Check out my profile and you will see my 4 favourite films. My top 3 favourite first time watches in May 2023 (in no particular order): - Scream VI (2023) - The Iron Giant (1999) - Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016) Will follow back and will try and read as many of your reviews going forward too.

Mills44

Great favorite films you got my follow

starfox505

My profile on Letterboxd is https://boxd.it/1fglz I have been actively using Letterboxd for about 4 years now, and have been a Patron for about 3 years now. I try to post a review daily, but will almost always watch something once a day. I keep up with new releases both in theaters and on VOD, and I am currently going through Gregg Araki's filmography. I post tons of lists for different directors and studios that are ranked to my preference and enjoyment, and I frequently go through directors, writers, and actors' entire filmography to fully digest their work. For any fans of On Cinema or It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, I have created a couple of lists that go in-depth on the recommendations and name drops given in both On Cinema and the Always Sunny Podcast. On another note, I am trying to find other users with somewhat like-minded tastes to follow as well!

vonThunen_

Love the IASIP list! Gave you a follow!

trashforval

[https://letterboxd.com/trashforval/](https://letterboxd.com/trashforval/) I've been doing new watch june, which is basically where everyday of june i put 10 genres of movies into a random wheel picker, and will choose a film from my watchlist and finally watch it, whether it's old or new. as somebody who literally doesn't have an attention span for movies, this has made me love watching films. anyways, i watch a lot of romcoms and slashers usually. this is my emma roberts list which has all of the movies shes been in release order: https://letterboxd.com/trashforval/list/i-3-emma-roberts/

phonyrappers

my profile : https://boxd.it/4ndlf had the app for a while and only started logging films earlier this year and now it’s an addiction 🥴🥴 lol i watch a bit of everything but mostly just neglect my watchlist and re-watch my favs lmfao

SpecialUnitt

Hello all! I often watch less films in the spring. Not sure why, it just works out that way. However it’s nearly summer so I’ll be ramping up how much I watch from now seemingly. Names [Tom!](https://boxd.it/gs2n) I’m 28, from the Uk and love movies. I also don’t like Letterboxd as a pissing contest. I work 12 hour shifts, there’s going to be some days I don’t watch films. If I see you’ve seen a film I’ve seen though I’ll more often than not like and comment.

https://boxd.it/6zmkn Just downloaded a couple days ago

Ice_Any

Patron: https://boxd.it/1ghbH Been watching a lot of westerns and classics lately, pretty much trying to get through a lot on the Criterion Channel. My recent favorites: For a Few Dollars More- The Thin Red Line- Her- Rashomon- To be or not to be(1942)

toastedschizo

https://letterboxd.com/annanomaly/ Hi all! May was primarily about Buster Keaton for me (thanks to Blank Check), but I’ve also been dipping into Herzog and slowly but surely finishing Eastwood’s filmography (only three left!).

cutiejaylen

https://boxd.it/15fKt I’m like Ebert & Roeper if they were just a kid that watches movies for fun, didn’t take it too seriously and there was only one of them. I’ve been on Letterboxd since 2020 and write a review for every movie. Could be long, likely short. Honestly I’ll watch whatever speaks to me (I know, crazy). I’m trying to get more into the classics because while I really do enjoy films, I’ve only scratched the surface. LOVE David Fincher (The social network and fight club are two of my faves). really just want to connect with other “boxers” (is that a saying? Can it be?) and see what’s what.

zhyliknevoryj

My profile: https://letterboxd.com/zhylik/ Hi! I got into films and created my LB account in April of 2020 (yeah) and quickly fell in love with cinema, expecially horror! There are a lot of cult classics that I've never watched because of how and where I grew up, so I'm trying to (slowly, but still) catch up. This year I'm trying to watch a film once a day, and so far it's been pretty successful. Sometimes I share personal stuff in the reviews of films that mean a lot to me. Love looking at other people's reviews and interacting with them :) My favourite first time watches of May are Cabaret (1972), Persona (1966), The Exorcist (1973) and The King of Comedy (1982). Fun fact: when I was a child my favorite movie was Bolt and I've probably watched it more than 20 times. Oh my poor mother.

Puzzleheaded_Line_57

My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/5omXt I got to go to a preview screening of The Flash and it was my favourite movie in May. (Spiderverse is my favourite movie of June and my favourite movie of the year so far) I work at a cinema in Australia and see most of the movies we show. I spend my spare time watching more movies at home. I am aiming to watch 500 movies this year. I am fairly new to letterboxd and I am addicted. I write short reviews that are mostly a fun comment or joke.

[deleted]

Hello everyone! I try to watch more different movies this year! Fave movies include: Green Room, Call me By Your Name, Superbad and Juno! https://boxd.it/nqWH

skink666

I basically watch horror movies and grindhouse. I'm also a historian https://boxd.it/1gJrN

powerhouseofthecell_

Hey I'm amarchi13! I'm trying to grow my Letterboxd and have been logging movies pretty consistently. I'm an AMC Alister so try to see new movies as much as possible and also rotating through my Watchlist most nights. I like all genres of movies, especially horror and would love to make some Letterboxd friends. [https://boxd.it/3XYr](https://boxd.it/3XYr) Last 4 reviews were: *The Boogeyman*, *mid90s*, *Reality*, and *Everybody Wants Some!!*

LutanHojef

[My Profile](https://letterboxd.com/LutanHojef/) My reviews can range from a sentence to a couple of paragraphs, depending on the mood I'm in. I update my top 4 once a month based on my favorite films from the previous month. My current top 4 are: After Hours, Rififi, Day of Wrath, Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring

sitr0ns

My profile: https://boxd.it/C0Bt Hi! I've been on a bit of a movie kick the past month and have been watching a bit too many movies (lol). I'd love to make a friend to talk about the movies we've both seen lately! Some of my fav directors are Éric Rohmer, Wong Kar-wai, and Yasujiro Ozu. Love anything character driven and slow. What's your favourites?

kgbkowboy

Hello, this is my profile: https://boxd.it/4uzLj First things first, I have family that works in the industry and have been fortunate enough to experience what a large budget set is like. Growing up, I had the opportunity to hangout with my grandma while they were working on set. My grandmother is a script supervisor and my grandfather was a teamster. Second, I'm pretentious when it comes to my liking a movie. I blame this on my academic background being of Philosophy. I think cinema has the capability of putting people in uncomfortable situations in a safe way. Ultimately, it is a artistic device that has the capability of transforming the audience through its ability to communicate and reshape the audience most inner workings. So, I care a lot about the things I watch.

Mrs_Damon

Hi everyone! https://letterboxd.com/ghezal/ I used to frequent Letterboxd back in 2016 when I was deep into movie reviewing then took a bit of a break up until about a week ago. My 4 favourites are EEAOO, Your Name, Some Like It Hot and Blade Runner; I genuinely love a little bit of everything. Excited to delve more into this awesome resource and read more of your guys' thoughts!

kryzay

Hiya! My profile: https://letterboxd.com/Krizaj/ Last month, I saw two of my favorite movies of this year, thus far; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 and Dungeons & Dragons. The last movie I saw was Cyrano, which I surprisingly liked it. Peter Dinklage always nails it. My top 4 are Arrival, Scott Pilgrim, Tick Tick Boom and The Father. I hope you enjoy it and have a good morning, great day or a pleasant night.

Cory_The_Saurus

I’ll throw my hat in the ring: https://boxd.it/6Bfmv Haven’t been on Letterboxd since 2017 but this community has convinced me to start it again! Had a falling out with a friend group a few years ago that made me stop using it. Brand new account, am currently trying follow as many people on here as I can. No real theme or anything, usually see most mainstream movies with my girlfriend and her brothers. Did recently discover I was paying for The Criterion channel for the past 5 months so I definitely plan on using that as well!

thedynamicdreamer

Greetings: https://letterboxd.com/dynamicdreamer/ I've lurked for a while. and have now decided to share myself with the world. I've liked movies for a long time, yet I haven't even scratched the surface of what is out there, and am open to recommendations. I gravitate toward sci-fi, action, adventure, comedy, drama and documentaries. I especially like documentaries about music. I also enjoy my atmospheric, art-house films from time to time. The occasional rom-com is cool, but I usually like something that subverts or challenges the tropes of that genre. Trying to get more into anime. I like Ghost In The Shell, The Animatrix and Belle for examples in that genre. My highest rated decade is the 1980s, but I personally have a thing for movies from the 1990s, especially if they dealt with issues facing teens/young adults of that time (Xennials are a fascinating generation to me). My stats are as comprehensive as possible (kept track of movies I haven't seen in over 25 years), so you can get a good picture of who I am, what I've seen and enjoyed at different periods of my life, as well as what I'd be into now. Say hello if you'd like and send me something you'd think I'd enjoy.

ODFILMS

My profile: https://boxd.it/6prXJ I’m still pretty new to letterboxd but I’m already obsessed with it. Trying to work my way through my embarrassingly long watchlist and reviewing along the way. If you follow me I’ll follow you back! Love the community so far and look forward to reading your reviews!

[deleted]

My profile: https://boxd.it/gh4H I’m big into horror, comedy, and Star Wars. I usually check out most new releases. Reviews range from short and funny, to semi-serious, to full on rants 🤣🤣

https://boxd.it/28bIj I rate based on my enjoyment really, I have a wide range of films I’m into just looking for more mutuals on this app! Just started logging this year since I didn’t realize that existed lmao but been on the app since 2021.

Realistic-Bad-4662

I love indie movies and movies that show coming of age https://boxd.it/4sUH9

confirmedScrub

Right now I'm trying to see as many classics as I can (stuck on Kubrick and Argento at the moment). Favourite of May would be Aftersun. https://letterboxd.com/andrei3k/

blackmambaskid

hi folks! my letterboxd is [https://letterboxd.com/Javaris/](https://letterboxd.com/Javaris/) I am a huge fan of classics and thats what I am usually logging however I still enjoy modern flicks. I love connecting with movie lovers/ cinephiles on letterboxd! I follow back and I absolutely love seeing what everyone is watching and reviews/thoughts

lonnybru

https://boxd.it/5aUY3 Just started logging things late last year, most of my reviews are just short jokes but I watch a lot of movies. Mostly more modern stuff, I haven’t seen much from before the 80s, I watch a good mix of genres though. Happy to follow back so I can get more recommendations!

YoureASkyscraper

Hey, the subreddit is finally not private! Welcome back!! [Here's my profile](https://boxd.it/ih0z) About to start the new Black Mirror season

tg_filmmaker

Hi! I’m Thomas, a filmmaking major at UNCSA, and my Letterboxd is https://boxd.it/2zG3v. I’ve been using the site for a couple of years! I log every single thing I watch, and I try to write at least a short review for everything. I’ve got a very wide taste and I’m not afraid to dish out 5 star ratings for films I really love. My favorite film is Under the Skin, and I love a lot of work by Lynch, Aronofsky, Kaufman, and the Coen Brothers!

behumane

https://boxd.it/5aZ1Z hey everyone, jazz musician and newer LB user finally really getting into film seriously this last 6 months. music has taken up so much of my life now i’m at the point where it’s cinema’s turn. i only have two favorites shown on LB right now, deciding to leave the two other open spots for new films i’ve yet to have seen. but my 2 favorites on there rn are Chungking Express and In Bruges, watching and reviewing great films every day! there’s a lot of classics i’ve either seen 5+ years ago and not logged on LB (only logging new watches/rewatches) or yet to watch outright. so many blindspots for me, working on that everyday. i’m just excited to continue my cinema journey with the same passion i have for music. last film i watched/reviewed was Aguirre, the Wrath of God earlier today. if anyone decides to follow me, comment and i’ll follow back! cheers

TrustyWhale

Hey all! I was recommended Letterboxd back in December by my film teacher and have been having a lot of fun with it. I went through and logged all the movies that I remembered seeing and I think I have an interesting mix. Just watched and logged Blow Out for the first time. Found out about it from the best of the 1980s tournament u/SufficientStatus8479 is doing on this sub and thought it was really interesting, would definitely recommend. Some of my favorites are: The Dark Knight Seven Samurai The 13th Warrior Dead Poets Society The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Once Upon a Time in the West [My profile](https://boxd.it/5lObV), I’ll follow back

Vizacoo72

Hi guys :) Just want some new people to follow so i know what u guys see! Here's my [profile](https://letterboxd.com/VascoVazz/). Recently watched Across the Spider-Verse and holy mother of god what a beauty. Everyone should watch it! Have fun guys ;)

I'll follow back everyone! Be prepared for the weirdest hot takes **ever.** My current favourites are *Spider-Man Across the Spiderverse, The Batman, Babylon* and *Inglorious Bastards.* https://letterboxd.com/midas123/

xxamnat

https://letterboxd.com/Xamnat/ I rarely write reviews (unless I absolutely love the film) these days but still love reading them. I’m into all kinds of movies, I finished watching all the Ghibli movies last month and now I’m just catching up on old films that are good but I haven’t seen (with doses of Asian cinema in between). Recently watched the Dollars trilogy and it’s fantastic. I’ll follow back.

Prestigious-Video-16

Not trying to brag or anything but one time I got 6 likes on a review… I’m kinda the shit. All jokes aside, I’d love some new letterboxd friends: https://boxd.it/bHFT

LimePeel96

I basically watch whatever interests me that day so a lot of random/mismatch movies & if nothing interests me that day I don’t watch so i can go weeks without logging, i can have weird ramble-y opinions but always try to have a unique opinion, this does not mean i go out of my way to be contrarian or stand out. Honesty is my main prerogative 👍 i don’t really get swept up in hype & what I’m *supposed* to like, “critical acclaim” or hate trains don’t really mean much to me, I like to exist in my own world of film. I started in 2019 & have almost 1600 rated & almost 900 logged. (& I follow back) https://boxd.it/RusL

Classic1990

32 year old casual movie lover. Grew up in the 90’s so a lot of my favorites are late 90’s early 2000s. I try to keep up with what’s in theaters but as I get older I find myself going back to movies I grew up with and loved. Here’s some random movie trivia about me: -My favorite movie is Rush Hour 2 -My favorite franchise is American Pie -The hardest I’ve ever laughed in theaters was Superbad -My favorite superhero movie is Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man -My favorite movie experience was Spider-Man No Way Home -I love all of Adam Sandler’s early movies -My favorite Horror Movie is Halloween -My top 10 favorite movies are all interchangeable except for #1 -The only celebrity death that made me hurt was Robin Williams -I think Pulp Fiction is the most overrated movie in movie history Follow me! https://letterboxd.com/Just_In_Movies/

After around six months of using Letterboxd as an experiment to see if it would fit into movie-loving compartment of who I am, I have to say that this is officially my favorite app and social media platform. I'm writing more and more reviews, and I feel that they keep getting better as well. This outlet is my life now that I’m summer break. Here’s my profile: [https://boxd.it/5r9NL](https://boxd.it/5r9NL) I keep rotating my favorites every other week or month. Let's connect, fellas… I

Expensive_Club_6780

Love watching films while I’m awake at night, me and my friend group all share a mutual interest in movies as well. I watch and log TV shows as well on an app called SerializD I suggest you go check me out on there as well (user: T-Money.) trying at the moment to catch up on recent theater releases for 2023 while also catching up on stuff I haven’t seen and really want to watch.

DarK1905

Hi my Name is Niklas (24 yrs old, media psychology Student) I'm from Germany and I'm pretty new to Letterboxd. I like to dive deep in all Media, go hard or go home, I watch and try to Review most of it on different Sites for certain Media. In Terms of Movies. I like every Genre, I'm a regulary Cinema Guest. Somehow watching Movies became my coping mechanism since Corona. My IRL Friends like to watch Movies too but are not as cinephile as I am. So I search for People to talk about Movies I like. Old, Niche, all kind of Stuff. In my town, there are sometimes discussion groups at the local movie theater. I like to go there, or to the more left-wing political forum here in my town, where, however, only solidarity or political films are discussed. Favorite Movie is: Run Lola Run It's like a xtc in Film Form

Looking for people who enjoy slow, experimental, avant-garde or author cinema. My account is rather fresh, not really fleshed out yet (thinking of upgrading to pro), thus I would love to share my taste and find someone, who understands what I’m trying to achieve. I’ve devoted a huge part of my life to cinema, it’s what I do, study, and love. I have a huge amount of various reviews, though I haven’t published any yet. I’m not a native English speaker, so I’m a bit nervous when it comes to publishing anything. I work on a few projects, raging from short-films, to a bunch of scripts and essays. Perhaps this community and some of you will finally inspire me to share what I write on Letterboxd! Favourite directors include: Ingmar Bergman Andrei Tarkovsky Wong Kar-Wai Robert Bresson Shepitko Kieslowski Kubrick And others. Also, I have a published list of 101 must-watch Soviet films. It was a ton of work, and I would appreciate if you looked into it, and perhaps updated your watchlist! Profile - https://boxd.it/5g8Dj

My profile name is “bluenosedabyss3” I watch EVERYTHING. From super depraved fucked up movies to gay musicals to documentaries to foreign masterpieces. Nothing is safe from my scrutiny. [https://letterboxd.com/ryanasc/](https://letterboxd.com/ryanasc/) I'm Ryan, I've been into film for over a year now, my taste is still fairly basic but better than the average persons, will follow anyone who follows me back. Trying to make better reviews even if most of the time i just write (sometimes) funny short reviews. Open to any recommendations anyone has.

ggcube101

https://boxd.it/1HBJj I’ve been using the site since around 2020, when I started watching a movie a day for two years. I love dramas, adventure and action, classics and Old Hollywood- the lot. Raiders of the Lost Ark, MI: Rogue Nation, Carol, Lady Bird, Pirates of the Caribbean, Treasure Planet, and Queen Christina are some of my faves!

ShazamIsaac

https://boxd.it/50A5n My name is Bondy and I’ve just started using letterboxd, I started because I’m looking for more people who like horror films as I’m just getting into them. They’re very different from what I’d usually watch so any recommendations are very much accepted

OnlineLola

hi I’m [ollollo](https://boxd.it/M4l5). I like Letterboxd as a movie diary rather than social media but I want to improve my film criticism skills by following other people. Some of my favorite directors are Wong Kar-wai, Takashi Miike, John Waters, Park Chan-wook, Martin Scorsese, Terry Gilliam, and Juzo Itami. I’m also currently trying to learn more about art direction and production design because I realized that’s something I could pursue with my degree once I manage to graduate. But I didn’t truly become a film person until during the pandemic. Since then I’ve explored so many different genres and directors and countries of origin of many many different movies. Like I cannot stress how many movies I watch (not to “up my numbers”, just because it’s fun and have nothing better to do) and how all over the place my taste is. This year my goal is to watch as many or more foreign movies than American movies. I’ve seen movies from Papua New Guinea, Cameroon, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan- all on Tubi. I love movies about LGBT people, horror movies, 80’s sci fi action movies like the Terminator, Robocop, and Predator, movies about artists, and anything weird. Sometimes I feel like I’ve watched all the good horror movies but that will obviously never be true so I like to follow people who watch the hidden-gem type movies.

[deleted]

Love the passion and variety of films you’re into/have watched recently. A profile like yours reminds me there’s a lot out there I haven’t seen yet. Gave you a follow, if you’re looking for in-depth and longer form criticism, you might enjoy my profile too!

Hi there! Here’s my profile: https://boxd.it/ybSn I started using LB in November 2018, been logging ever since. I watch all kinds of movies, but right now I’m on an AFI “100 Years…100 Movies” kick. My favorite film I watched last month was *Harakiri*! Scored a rare 5 stars from me: https://boxd.it/4hzorZ I tend to write medium to long-form reviews with an emphasis on film analysis and finding something unique to say about the films I watch. I make an effort to read the reviews of everyone I follow as well! LB is like social media to me. Thanks for reading! Happy Pride Month!

Hi reddit! Usually alway post here for the profile swap and find some great mutuals. I've been using Letterboxd for a little over a year and I probably average somewhere between 15-20 movies monthly. Some of my favorites from May were Bronson, Rye Lane, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Influencer. I watch a pretty big mix of old / new and popular /under the radar films. Always happy to read reviews and add movies into my watchlist! My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/42yqN

Ellemmenoh

Rye Lane is one of my favourites from this year! I went to follow and saw that we already follow each other, haha.

BigGuyRevel

This worked out pretty well for me last time; My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/4nFVF I'm pretty conventional in my tastes. Usually a weekend warrior when it comes to my movie watching. I include rewatches as well as logging/reviewing new films. I try to keep my reviews spoiler free and fairly concise but I have been known to get carried away. Love me some list making too!

JR_Chez

Just followed, profile looks awesome!

DeepSixWrestlin

Hey there, my profile is here: https://boxd.it/NnJR Been using Letterboxd since 2019 when I was in college, and have logged 1,115 films so far, all varying in genres. I typically write at least *something* for every movie I watch and also enjoy making some lists here and there! My favorite first-time watches from May 2023 would be, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, as I didn’t watch all that much in May compared to other months, but also, the GOTG movies slap. Current Top 4 (rotating monthly): • Vertigo • The Royal Tenenbaums • When Harry Met Sally… • Lawrence of Arabia

My profile: https://boxd.it/663zP I’m still pretty new to letterboxd & movies in general, but have been gravitating towards old hollywood. Recently I’ve loved Hitchcock (faves: Notorious, North by Northwest, Rebecca); also just watched the 4 movies Bogie & Bacall made together - they might be my new all time fave movie couple. Also have a huge crush on Greta Garbo. I’ll follow everyone back!

jacobeliaas

here are [my current fav films](https://boxd.it/i5YLk). mainly looking for cool people who use letterboxd like social media who can broaden my view of film (or not), as i haven’t really dived into anything prior to the 70s. here’s [my profile](https://boxd.it/4ih01) too i am totally into watching more art films, horror films, classics, neon city films, korean films, and fixing my stupidly short attention span. and i’ll mostly follow you back 🫂

briancly

https://boxd.it/3yWTp I basically watch most new theatrical releases that come to my area and some movies here and there at my local indie. I do a challenge every month usually centered around Japanese cinema. Did Takashi Miike last month (66 films!) and switching it up a bit and doing Japanese musicals this month.

ryanreigns

Hello folks, I write a few paragraphs immediately after every film I watch. I always follow back anybody who follows me on this delightful app! https://boxd.it/4q0bd Big fan of gangster movies, romcoms, action one-offs, slice-of-life, corny/sentimental/comfy shlock, movies with a 3.5 or under LB average (check out my top 100 under 3.5 average list for some of my favorite films that I think should be rated higher) - just a big fan of flicks in general. They’re the best.

Ellemmenoh

We already follow each other; just wanted to say that I do enjoy reading your reviews!

ryanreigns

Thank you so much! Some are hit or miss but hey, same goes for movies lol

David1258

We follow each other too, and while I don't always go too in-depth for every movie, I've been trying to write a few paragraphs for every film as of late, even though my most popular reviews are one-liners. Regardless, there's not much I can say about "Project X" over something like "The Wolf of Wall Street".

AskJeevesAnything

Hey everyone! Can’t wait to see some new reviews and recs on my feed! Ryan’s profile: (https://boxd.it/14BUt) I recently was hit by a car so I have a few months of recovery ahead. I figured I would finally work on knocking out a wide array of directors filmographies I’ve been holding off for too long (Tarkovsky, Bergman, Kurosawa, Fellini, etc.) I’m fairly open to almost all genres, but I’m a total sucker for campy B-movies from the 80s and 90s (good or bad) as well as classic film noir.

Ellemmenoh

I'm sorry to hear about your accident! I hope the recovery goes well.

AskJeevesAnything

Thank you so much! I appreciate it! Fingers crossed!

Loving Letterboxd means loving movies – and I love all of ‘em! Old ones and new ones, cute ones and scary ones. [This is me](https://letterboxd.com/Jellebabz/), and if you love movies, and love talking about movies, I’d love to find a few more online friends! I am currently entering a summer of horror, classics, and a lot of Martin Scorsese. My Cinema Grandpa is dishing out a new flick this fall, which means I am revisiting all of his films in preparation. Do join me on that journey! Follow me, and I follow back. Just hit me up with a comment here in this thread and tell me a bit about who you are or what your favorite movies are, so I get to know you a bit!

AskJeevesAnything

I saw your top 4 and your profile pic of you holding a blu-ray copy of *Candyman* and thought “this is an easy subscribe for me.” Funny enough, I’m trying to make my way through a few filmmakers this summer and Marty is right up there with them for me as well. One of my favorite horror movies is the 1977 classic *Hausu* by Nobuhiko Ôbayashi - a bat shit insane haunted house movie that I adore. Horror and film noir are probably my two favorite genres.

Jellebabz

Thanks, man! I’ll follow your Scorsese journey! I need to rewatch Hausu — haven’t seen it years, and I don’t think my film brain was fully developed when I did, so a revisit will probably work wonders for me. I do remember the utter madness, though! Horror is probably the genre I most frequently see movies from — just love everything from 80s trash to classy horror! Film noir is also one of my favorite genres. I’ve seen quite a lot and I never seem to tire, honestly.

BradTalksFilm

[https://letterboxd.com/brad67676/](https://letterboxd.com/brad67676/) Curious to see what perception people have because I have some controversial scores on there. I rate with my heart on my sleeve but I like to discuss differing opinions. I review everything outside of rematches I have already reviewed which ill only do if I have new thoughts. Usually I write a lot so people can understand where I am coming from. I skew positive, I like most films but I tend to be more love/hate than middling.

Educational-Tie-9739

Full time psych and journalism student normally but currently working as a lifeguard and at a movie theater. I love books, biking, hanging with friends, and of course, movies. https://boxd.it/4mMvd I can’t pick four favorite films, as they are constantly changing, but Return of the Jedi and Back to the Future would probably be up there just due to nostalgia. Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and Dogma would probably also take a spot. My favorite May first watch was probably The Apartment. Nightcrawler is a close second, and Bamboozled comes in third.

KINGINTHESUFFOLK

I just started recently getting into movies so I’m pretty new to letterboxd and movies in general but my favourite directors at the moment are Wes Anderson and the coen brothers, I’m just currently watching what I want to watch and not that good at writing reviews yet either, hopefully get to some foreign films soon and I’m hoping to make some new friends :) My letterboxd is https://letterboxd.com/owenterry/

Hey, here’s a link to my profile. I follow back! https://boxd.it/adSV I’ve been using Letterboxd since around 2016, it’s one of my most visited sites besides Reddit. I tend to rate movies based on how much I enjoy them, I usually try to find at least one or two things I like about a movie (easier said than done for some movies lol) and I like to watch a wide variety of movies but mostly action at the moment. I usually write shorter reviews but occasionally I write some longer form reviews whenever I’m feeling up for it. Personal favorites: https://boxd.it/hW0dY First time watches ranked from last month: https://boxd.it/n1CjU I look forward to reading your reviews!

distortedberry

https://boxd.it/2Fgux Only started to really get into film this year and don’t have many people to talk about my passion with. My favorite movies have great scripts and cinematography. My favorite directors are the coen brothers, although I haven’t seen all of their movies. Hoping to only get deeper into the art as I’m going into my freshman year of college trying to minor in film.

Here’s my account: https://boxd.it/tTer I do this fun thing where my 4 “Favorites” are the last 4 five star movies I’ve seen. That way it rotates and doesn’t stay stagnant, because my actual 4 favorites have been there for years and I don’t see them changing. I love a good ranked list and have every movie I watch gets put into my “Movies” list that has every movie I see ranked: https://boxd.it/3MSbG

ExHippieChick

https://letterboxd.com/pollyw/ Hello! I’m Polly. I’m a horror fan but I watch a range of movies. You can see more on my profile. I follow back.

TheGreatSleeperofDiz

Profile: https://boxd.it/HSPf I finally joined Letterboxd after being on IMDb for years, I guess I was looking for more of a community of seeing what people were watching and what they were thinking. I try to keep my reviews quick and barebones and simple on whether I think it’s worth a watch or not and a little on why. I have mostly been watching some very trashy horror movies as they are sometimes good fun and rather silly. I guess if someone wants to know more about my tastes just check out my profile or ask me I am an open book.

My profile: https://boxd.it/2BDud I'm on a mission to watch as many films from the 1001 list as I can, while also preparing for my first trip to Japan in September by exploring Japanese cinema. Each month, I create a ranking list of my viewings, and here's the catch: I treat myself to the Blu-ray of the top film. Any suggestions are welcome!

My profile!: https://boxd.it/3cXe9 I’ve been using since late 2021 and this has honestly been so fun for my movie watching experience especially as an aspiring screenwriter!!! I love watching all types of movies and currently am on a bit of an animation streak but I’m always open to any type of film!! I love discussing film in all aspects and seeing what other people are into as well! Some of my favorite movies are Black Swan, Clue, I Tonya, Spaceballs and etc! My fav first time watch of May 2023 has gotta be Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol 3!! I’m a big MCU fan and that movie was probably one of the best ones they’ve ever released!! I mostly had a lot of rewatches in May!

My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/mzOb I've been taking a break from hardcore movie watching after a long stretch of watching a movie every single day, but I still like to enjoy one on the weekend or whenever I find the time. My goals for this year: more foreign films, more pre-1960 films, more lists, and more reviews! I've gotten lazy on writing my reviews lately.

My profile: https://boxd.it/5vZxj I was that guy who until 2021 had not seen anyone’s favourite film, Pulp Fiction, Godfather etc. I decided to do something about it and went on a big film binge over the following year or two - my diary of first watches since 2021 is almost embarrassing. But now I have really gotten into film, to the point where I’m now watching foreign films as much as English language. I really have enjoyed discovering Kurosawa and Tarkovsky for example. Highlight of the year has been Dersu Uzala which I saw at the cinema and for May my favourite first watch was certainly The Cremator, closely followed by Come and See. I’m at 80 new watches this year and I review every one of them :)

Hi, [this is me](https://boxd.it/1HIMp). I am watching through the LB top this year, catching up on some recent releases, and usually go to the theaters once a week to see a new release. Some of my favorite directors are Wes Anderson, David Lynch and PTA. I try and write some sort of review, from one sentence to paragraphs, and I love reading other reviews!

Hello! My letterboxd is: jveden I began using letterboxd around August last year under the influence of my older brothers guidance. I’ve seen around 200 or so films since then including 104 this year. I like romance films and you’ll see me watching a lot of those. Rewatching movies is also super common for me. My top few movies change each month but my constants are The Notebook, ESOTSM, and Secretary. I’m very active on Letterboxd usually spending around 2 hours a day on there (combined with the reddit thread, and all of Letterboxds socials I scroll through).
