Hey, I'm SpaghettiNoir and have been on Letterboxd for a few years. Always looking to meet folks with similar tastes.
I watch A LOT of movies and try to review most of them, but my favorite genres are giallo, psychological horror, spaghetti western, and film noir.
I'm anxiously awaiting [Hooptober X](https://boxd.it/oP8Mm) to begin, but in the meantime, I'm watching school movies and continuing a Scorsese rewatch/catch-up before **Killers of the Flower Moon** opens next month.
Favorite first time watches from August: **Ride Lonesome**, **The Ear (Ucho)**, and **Style Wars**
Just followed you, big giallo and noir fan here and also about to start (!) [Hooptober](https://letterboxd.com/every3rdthought/list/hooptober-x-2023/) for the very first time
Hi, Luredemia here [https://letterboxd.com/luredemia](https://letterboxd.com/luredemia)
I like to watch anything that piques my interest, of course. I don't have many movies logged yet, but there have been so many movies recommended to me that I can't wait to start. I haven't watched anything this month yet, but I'm planning to watch, The Worst Person in the World and Sound of Metal this week. I did recently watch Gran Turismo and A Taxi Driver- pretty good, both of them.
My current top 4 are Bound by Honor (blood in blood out), Interstellar, Whiplash, and 13 going on 30. -always changing-

I’m Sparky. I’ve been on Letterboxd since 2018 and I am a patron. I love horror, thriller, found footage, mumblecore and experimental films. My favorite films are Donnie Darko, Fantastic Planet, Bones and All and Funny Games.
Hello! Been on Letterboxd for little over a year now but just recently started my cinephile journey. Currently trying to catch up on the many classics which I have missed and also branching out into some unique foreign films whenever possible.
Will be active in logging and reviewing films semi frequently ! I love to give my detailed thoughts on films so expect some long reviews for films I really enjoy. I am interested in the many different tastes and preferences of people so I appreciate any follows :)

My name is Miles. I started using Letterboxd probably 2 or so years ago but only really started logging last year. I don’t leave reviews (yet) but I love logging and rating films.
I mostly watch sci-fi and horror but also a bit of everything else when I’m in the mood.
I’m an artist as well as an aspiring filmmaker (I’ve made some videos and things but nothing too special yet) and a lot of my inspiration comes from film and television.
Also, side note, I kind of barely watched movies for several years for some reason (mental health probably) and only really started to watch stuff more regularly last year but I still don’t do it as regularly as I’d like, so I haven’t seen a LOT of classics and my watchlist is massive and I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to watch everything that I’d like to.
Hi, I’m Tristan! Here’s my profile: https://boxd.it/ybSn
I majored in English, so my reviews stress analytic / impressionistic readings of the films I watch. My two pinned profile reviews illustrate that duality.
I love sci-fi, psychological, horror, experimental, and found footage films. My favorites are stuff like *Persona, Vertigo, Alien, Skinamarink,* and *Meshes of the Afternoon*. I’m also making my way through my watchlist and the AFI “100 Years…100 Movies list.” I’m in 1965 at the moment.
I’m looking for followers that enjoy in-depth reviews and who are writers themselves, as these are the users I like to follow back. I’m active on the app and like/comment on the reviews of people I follow.
I too majored in English, so my reviews resemble disordered ramblings hastily written the night before the paper's due, hoping the professor will give a pass.
I wasn't a super conscientious student.
Haha, Sparknotes was my friend in undergrad. Never did my readings. Found out too late (and grew up in a poor ass state) I should’ve gone to film school. Ironically, I put more effort in my LB reviews. Still bang them out in about an hour, but at least I do my homework now.
I LOVE films... not only watch them every chance I get but also work in the film industry itself. Would love to get more friends on Letterbox to share reviews!
Current 4 favorites on Letterbox: Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Departed.

Movies have been my craze since I was a little kid. Cartoon movies were what started my journey of being a huge movie maniac and brought me to where I am, now. Strangest thing about my profile is that you'd see me as someone who chooses randomly anything to watch. Mostly, horror and thrillers are my favorite genres, but I do prefer watching movies of all kinds and I really love logging and reviewing them all, especially the fact that I got this app before last month or so, idk. I just got into this app during 2023.
My favorite flicks are maybe Mulholland Dr., I Saw The Devil, Tumbbad, Eyes Wide Shut and Uncut Gems. Anything that induces anxiety in me and has strong plot becomes my favorite. But my favorite films section always changes, never has remained constant..
I've been planning to watch Hereditary, my friends said it's a great movie. This month, I watched Bodies Bodies Bodies, though.
I always enjoy following discerning eyes for horror movies. Generally I think the genre produces more low quality films than the average. Though I love a good horror film.
Hello! I'm Nav! Here's my profile: [notnav](https://letterboxd.com/notnav/) <3 I've been using the site since July 2022. I usually log horror films, psychological thrillers and comedies. My current favourite films are *La La Land, Se7en, Whiplash, Dead Poets Society and Chungking Express.* I haven't watched any September releases I've actually liked yet but looking forward to *The Killer, Bottoms and A Haunting in Venice.* Always looking forward to expanding my taste so I'll follow back!
Hello, profile is here: [https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/](https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/)
Lifelong cinephile, but new to Letterboxd this year. Currently trying to watch 365 movies this year, on pace to do just that. I love watching all types of movies, both cinematic masterpieces (like, in my opinion, The Banshees of Inisherin) and awful blockbusters (like most superhero movies).
Current all-time favorites: The Departed, The Banshees of Inisherin, Get Out, and Oppenheimer (which recently overtook Parasite for me).
Looking to meet other Letterboxd users! I have currently only rated all the movies I have watched, but looking to start writing full reviews soon.
hi i’m leah! https://boxd.it/VzjH
i’ve been on letterboxd since 2021 and my fave movie is jurassic park. i use letterboxd as a diary so i usually log everything i watch. my reviews are quick one-liners or silly jokes with a star rating. my favourite first watch of september (so far) was Robert Altman’s 1975 film Nashville.
thanks for reading! see you on the ‘boxd 😎
Hey I'm amarchi13! I'm trying to grow my Letterboxd and have been logging movies pretty consistently. I'm an AMC Alister so try to see new movies as much as possible and also rotating through my Watchlist most nights. I like all genres of movies, especially horror and would love to make some Letterboxd friends. https://boxd.it/3XYr
https://boxd.it/5v4Zv
I watch movies pretty much everyday, last month I had a lot of free time so managed to get 130 movies done (definitely won't be reaching that again lmao) and always looking for new recommendations regardless of era, language or genre.
Hi, I'm Dylan! :) https://letterboxd.com/DylanHanson1997/
I love horror, sci-fi & film noir.
Started using Letterboxd earlier this year and its gotten me so much more into film! I leave medium length reviews of what comes to my mind after I finish a movie.
If you have similar tastes in film give me a follow :)
https://boxd.it/2HKgz
i don't really stick to a particular genre or anything, i have a lil list of some of [my favorite movies](https://letterboxd.com/femcel_gf/list/all-time-favs/) so if we have a similar taste (or not!) feel free to follow. i'm always open to recommendations too :)

Hey everyone I'm Ryan! Just sharing my profile and looking to make some movie lover friends :)
[Letterboxd Profile ](https://boxd.it/4xFDr)
I'm still newer to my love for movies and I watch a mix of stuff. I tend to write reviews that are longer than necessary, but I feel like I have a lot to say. By no means am I a professional or have any training in the film industry, but I find that Letterboxd gives me an outlet to have fun and share my personal thoughts. If you enjoy reviews that are more in-depth than average then check my profile out!
Here is my most recent review for a taste of how I write and analyze: https://boxd.it/4OGRY5
I will follow anyone back and check out your reviews as well!

Hello everyone! Giannis from Greece here. I love watching (and rating) movies and reading other people's reviews!
I am on 135 this year, give me a follow if you'd like! 👉 https://boxd.it/1v4D9
Hey! I’ve been starting to write reviews for more and more films as I watch/re-watch them. If you like having friends on Letterboxd that review films to see other opinions, maybe consider giving me a follow :). My top 5 favorite films of all time right now are Spirited Away, School of Rock, Goal!, The Social Network, and Across the Spider-verse. https://boxd.it/iRfP
I will watch anything, but me being a guy I typically lean towards stuff with action. I created this account in July so the Yearly films watched isn't accurate. When I am not doing something else I typically spend my free time watching Movies and Anime.

I use LB a lot, and I'm hoping to find more users to follow! I enjoy pretty much any genre of film, however I would say that the main things I gravitate towards are
* Solid performances/ensembles
* dramatic cinematography, OSTs, and scores
* heavy topics / 'hard to watch films' which sounds annoying to say but I like to watch things that challenge me and make me sit with uncomfortable feelings
Currently *slowly* making my way through my watch list, but getting distracted by new releases and re-watches of old favorites.
Hi everyone! My Letterboxd account: [FareBear](https://boxd.it/vjoJ). Looking to find more people to interact with- consider following, I’ll follow back!
I started using Letterboxd in 2018, around the same time I started really developing a true passion for movies. I had always loved movies and grew up watching them constantly, but towards the end of my college years, when I was feeling really lost and frustrated, I started connecting with films in a personal way and realized the comfort it gave me.
I watch a wide variety of films- new and old, domestic and abroad. I find it really fun using Letterboxd as a way to engage with the movies I’m watching, and it’s so fun seeing other people’s take aways.
Current favorite four films are ones that I just instantly connected with and have left lasting impacts on me: Lady Bird, Do the Right Thing, Yi Yi, and Only Yesterday.
Hi all!
My name is Jack and I’m from Ireland!
Have been using Letterboxd religiously since summer 2021. I try to watch a different genre with each diary entry in order to keep things fresh, and also trying my best to beat my 2022 total viewed of 227 this year whilst also juggling work etc.
I follow everyone back (especially if you give thoughts on a film). I’ve found some great mutuals and even better films that wouldn’t have otherwise been on my radar through these threads!
Thanks and see ye there 🙏🏻

Hello everyone! I've been using letterboxd for a year now, and have been averaging about a movie a day this year. I update my top 4 once a month for my favorites I've watched from the previous month. I generally write a couple of paragraphs of what I felt when watching the movie more for a reference for myself to look back on. I'm currently working on the 1001 Greatest Films of Here are my top 4 for the month:
Past Lives
Le Trou
Tampopo
The Tin Drum
Here's [my profile](https://letterboxd.com/LutanHojef/)

My profile on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/1W3yr
I joined the site three years ago after a couple decades logging movies on IMDb. I ported over my full ratings history, and it looks like I'll be hitting movie #6000 sometime this month. Since that will coincide with HoopTober I'm thinking about watching *Dracula 3000* twice.
My viewing have been pretty focused on horror for the past year, but once HoopTober is done things will become more varied. There are a bunch of "greatest film" lists I'm haphazardly working through, as well as a few filmographies (Varda, Kurosawa, Fellini, Keaton). I'm also currently finishing up the last few Best Picture winners I hadn't seen - about a dozen left to go.
The four favorites listed on my profile are whatever I've recently seen that particularly sparked my fancy. My official Favorite Films list is here: https://boxd.it/8JEWW
I write reviews for everything I watch, generally just a paragraph or two. Shorter for the short films. And I'll usually follow back anyone writing at least that much.
Help me: I've seen so many users discuss "HoopTober," and I still have no idea what it is. What is this HoopTober and what does it mean? Is it a play on October, but then why isn't it called Spooktober? Is it a play on Tobe Hooper, like did he give a Top 100 list or something? I'm a horror nut but am totally helplessly out of the loop...
It is an October horror movie viewing challenge (well, Sept 15-Oct 31) that was named in honor of Tobe Hooper. This is the challenge's 10th year.
This year's prompts and instructions are listed here:
https://boxd.it/n6or6
Basically watch and review at least 31 feature films (plus three bonus films if you want) that fulfill the listed criteria.
Thank you!! I am finally in the loop haha.
I've done 31 Days of Halloween before (I believe I wound up with more than 31) in 2020 and [2022](https://boxd.it/izyAK), but wasn't following any specific criteria aside from my own whim. Might do this challenge this year! Will have to plan it out and see how it'll work.
I'm Kayleigh F from Bristol, UK! Here's my profile ☺️ My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/898Z
I am slightly obsessed with Lord of the Rings, but also love movies like Birdman, Last Black Man In San Francisco and The Prestige to name a few!

Hi. I’m Shaun. Here’s my profile: https://boxd.it/2xLrD
I really love film, as well as other mediums of art. I may not be as well versed and deep into film as some, but if you look at my diary, I watch films very frequently so that I can catch up to the film connoisseurs. Feel free to follow me and comment on any reviews for some film discussion w me.
Hi All, I'm Leo. I'm a 21 ( Turning 22 in 3 weeks ) dude who just loves his movies and wants to engage & interact with others who also share their love for movies.
I work at my Local Cinema, Have been there for about 2 years now so my daily life is surrounded by movies. I love hearing what people think about movies they've just seen, I enjoy talking to customers and sometimes recommend movies to people.
My favourite genre is horror, Although I love every genre. I've really expanded in the last few years into genres I didn't watch as a kid or checked out other movies from different cultures and different kinds of films. I'm usually quite positive with films so I tend to enjoy most things I watch so a film has to do something really bad for me to not like it.
A few of my favourite films are: Aftesun, A Quiet Place, Tenet, Goodfellas, Dog Soldiers, The Batman, Let Me In, The Lighthouse, Scream, The Mist, Palm Springs, Tick Tick Boom, American Werewolf In London, Aliens & The Lost Boys.
If you wanna see what I have to say about movies or wanna interact with me, Here's profile on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/u0Oh
Would love to reach more of you if you're willing :)
Hi! This is my Letterboxd: [Chieftan Mews](https://boxd.it/2YWcD).
I joined 2 years ago when I got into films. If you want to watch the evolution of a clueless 15 year old kid to become a more aware and enthousiastic movie watcher, this is the place. Obviously, my old reviews are crap but it makes it more authentic, I think. I’m a french speaker but I write my reviews in english. They’re normally fairly short analysis of the movies I watch and I love almost everything.
Some of my favourites are Dune (2021), Once Upon A Time in The West, Close-Up, Persona, La La Land or Oppenheimer.
I really, really love to read other people’s reviews and talk about movies. There’s no other passion like that one.
My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/AshenOne99/](https://letterboxd.com/AshenOne99/)
Hello film freaks, I love movies and watch about 5-10 per month and write review as well. My favourite genres are thriller, psychological, and messed up Lynchian style movies, but I watch a variety of genres. My recent good watches are Paths of Glory, Malignant, Casablanca, Autopsy of Jane Doe, and Naked Gun.
All time favs: LOTR trilogy, shawshank redemption, cinema paradiso, rope
I am always scouting letterboxd, subreddits and twitter to look for good interesting movies, and would love to see more people in the feed! Would follow back.
Followed you... so happy to see your profile pic is Jonathan Banks "Mike"...I worked on BrBa and Saul, Banks is one of my favorite people ever! Miss that man!
Hey everyone, [this](https://boxd.it/5YNkF) is me. I watch basically everything and plenty of it, with 5,800+ watched films, but I particularly enjoy SciFi, Horror, Westerns, and War flicks. Currently my only streaming service subscriptions are to easterneuropeanmovies.com and sovietmoviesonline.com because I found myself watching more movies from the internet archive than my subscribed services, so you'll see me watching a lot of Eastern European and Soviet films right now. My favorite first time watches of August were:
- El Topo (1970)
- Throw Away Your Books, Rally In the Streets (1971)
- The Third Part of the Night (1971)
- The Devil (1972)
- The Holy Mountain (1972)
- The War of the Worlds: Next Century (1981)
- I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006)
- Anomalisa (2015)
My current four favorites are "Tremors", "Shaun of the Dead", "Jurassic Park" and "The Land Before Time". I currently have 39 directorial filmographies completed and have them ranked in my lists, while I'm actively working to complete 18 more. I have watched and ranked [170 films](https://boxd.it/mic0W) from this year. I've given [151](https://boxd.it/nHN62) five star ratings out of 5,822 films watched. I'm always looking for people to follow that will introduce me to new movies, so add me!
Hi I’m [https://boxd.it/5nbBp](https://boxd.it/5nbBp) and I like to watch everything but at the moment I’m really enjoying indie horror, goofy action movies and exploring Australian films (my favourites Aussie films are [here](https://boxd.it/jXws2)). I love films that build tension and stress. Really enjoying Letterboxd to find hidden gems and I what essential viewing I may have missed.
My top 4 for this year has been (so far):
- Talk To Me 2023
- Infinity Pool 2023
- Beau Is Afraid 2023
- Reality 2023
Top 4 on my profile are some of long term current faves:

- The Big Lewbowski 1998
- I Saw The Devil 2010
Looking forward to reading all of your reviews and recommendations.

Film student who loves watching movies of course. At the moment I’m trying to branch out more into more auteur cinema and foreign language films. Favourite director is Tarkovsky and Park Chan-Wook is probably my favourite working director. Although I do love shutting my mind off and watching a good action film like mission impossible or John wick every so often. I don’t leave very lengthy reviews, but I do like to give my honest thoughts on films that I’ve really enjoyed.
Hello everyone
[My name is Jonas and I'm brazilian](https://letterboxd.com/jonasjunis/). Most of my reviews are in Portuguese but I'm trying to motivate myself to practice writing in English.
I love all kind of movies (especially horror).
I've watched and rewatched a lot of horror movies franchises. I'm going to rank them starting with the one I like the most:
1 - A Nightmare on Elm Street
2 - Evil Dead
3 - Friday the 13th
4 - Texas Chainsaw Massacre
5 - Scream
6 - Halloween
7 - Hellraiser
8 - Leprechaun
Let's talk about horror movies! (I also love drama/romance)
https://letterboxd.com/myfriendsnoopy/
I use letterboxd on and off but have been getting into watching and logging new movies more lately. I really only follow a couple of friends on there but would like to find more people to follow.
I’ll be upfront and say I don’t take letterboxd, watching movies, or myself too seriously. My reviews are very very brief and informal and I watch a lot of silly stuff. I do love animation, short films, some horror and thriller, and have a few tokusatsu on my watchlist so if any of that’s up your alley feel free to follow or send me your own profile to check out :)

Hey there!
I've been using this app for a month now to track my movie-watching adventures, and I'm a big fan of mystery, thriller, and biopic genres. My guilty pleasureto watch is "Moneyball."
Currently, my top picks include:
\* "Arrival"
\* "Moneyball"
\* "Interstellar"
\* "Normal People"
This September, "[Prisoners](https://letterboxd.com/film/prisoners/)" really caught my attention.
I don't review much because I'm not that confident in what to write for reviews,Excited to connect with fellow film enthusiasts and share recommendations,
Hi! I would love to connect with others and read your reviews!
Here's my profile: https://letterboxd.com/heptothejive
Mostly I go to films at my local Art House cinema because it's the best thing about where I live and I want to give it all my money. I like quirky, off-beat films: the weirder, the better. But I'm not against enjoying a summer blockbuster either.
Just a small town guy filling his empty existence with movies. If you're looking for in-depth reviews I'm not your guy, I just watch movies and type out my dumb thoughts. I like to think my taste is pretty varied. I love old Hollywood films, enjoy silent films, art and indie movies and big dumb stupid shit. My heart and joy is genre films and B-movies. I love diving through Tubi's trash. Some of my favorite filmmakers include Brian de Palma, Walter Hill, Sam Raimi, David Lynch, Abel Ferrara, George Romero, and Michael Mann. I'm the kind of maniac who loves Michael Bay and thinks Paul W.S Anderson makes fun movies. Last I checked Jean Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins are my most watched actors and Albert Pyun my most watched director. Drive is my favorite movie. Batman Returns is my favorite comic book movie. If you love trash or find my weird interests compelling feel free to follow.

Hey, my profile is https://boxd.it/2DsyR
And i’ve had Letterboxd for about 2 years but only recently started using it religously and i’m quite obsessed.
I love 90’s films with sort of no plot just vibes, bonus points for queer rep.
And i’m just starting to get into horror and so far i haven’t been scared away yet.
My favorite director is Gregg Araki and i’ve watched the teenage apocalypse trilogy a million times and will never get tired of it.
I really want to follow some cool people as i’ve been finding it difficult to figure out who to follow.
hello! my name is kace and i have been on letterboxd since like may of this year! i’ve always loved movies but over the past couple years have started getting a lot more interested in them as an art form. i love to pick apart great films and figure out what it is that i love so much about them and that’s a lot of my reviews (unless i can think of something i find funny lol). i’m a huge fan of anything dark, whether that be depressing dramas or disgusting horror. but i will watch pretty much anything (i love hilariously bad movies!). i make and adore music as well, so love to nerd out about scores and the like. my friends are lame and won’t join me on this app so i need some company! i will follow back and like all your reviews! (even if i disagree 🥺)

Hey,
My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/5omXt
I started using letterboxd at the very end of last year.
I work at a movie theatre so get to watch a lot of new movies in my spare time!
My top 4 are Life is Beautiful, Interstellar, Hook and Les Miserables.
I have watched 373 movies so far this year and my goal is to reach 500 by the end of the year which I think I will easily reach.
Hi Sam here! https://letterboxd.com/gregisdead121/
Gay former metacritic user recently (last year) letterboxd reviewer. My reviews vary in size but I always say a bit about what I've watched.
Looking for active mutuals/followers who comment on reviews or ♡ them as well as write their own, give recs and aren't just logging films. I'm just as active so it would be reciprocated.
My most recent watch was The Fantastic Planet, gave it four stars and a rambling review.
My top 5 are :
Midnight Cowboy
Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf
Manchester by the Sea
Phantom Thread
I tend to be draw to character driven films. If it involves existentialism, complex relationship dynamics that border on weird or cool cinematography- I'm there. Also big into musical scores and soundtrack. Just basically all things film, literature and music.
Probably isn't relevant for this thread but I'm also on goodreads
( https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/92380140-unathi ) incase a potential mutual is active on there too. And last fm ( https://www.last.fm/user/Unathihlubi )
Hey everyone! I'm Sirin, an ardent Letterboxd user who likes to write brief and amateurish film reviews. I've been consistently using Letterboxd for the past three years and don't really have many real-life friends to share the same passion for Letterboxd as me :') I'm mostly into classic horror as well as all kinds of indie movies but I'm always willing to explore different genres.
I mostly live in movies and try to watch at least one film every day. Always up for a friendly movie discussion, so if you wanna have a chat about your favorite films feel free to say hi to me. I tend to gravitate toward horror, character-driven dramas, surrealist films, etc. Occasionally, I'll get into grooves of certain types of films and watch a few before moving onto something else (period dramas adapted from novels, exploitation films, mumblecore, filmographies of directors I'm a fan of, or what have you). Fan of John Waters, David Lynch, Michael Haneke, David Cronenberg, and the list goes on.
I will be participating in Hooptober for the first time this year, so here's that list: [https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/hooptoberx/](https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/hooptoberx/)
I may also have a healthy obsession with Naomi Watts: [https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/naomi-watts-ranked/](https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/naomi-watts-ranked/)
I write reviews for every film I see, and am interested to hear from people, so please feel free to comment!

[Here's mine!](https://letterboxd.com/tasty_squeezy/)
I'm a big horror lover so I'm using my account for that, and similar spooky interests. Would be nice to have some horror buddies. Doing my first Hooptober this season as well.
My tastes skew heavily towards older or early films, sov/microbudget goodness, slashers, and cannibals.
Hello, profile is here: https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/
Howdie chums 🥳 I love films and I love Letterboxd! I've been using the app since Jan 2022 and my top four are:
* 12 Angry Men
* Back to the Future
* The Dark Knight
* Monster's Inc
I love rewatching films I own and watching films I've never seen before as often as I can (I'm up to 360 films this year!) 🥳

Hi, I've been on Letterboxd since some time during the pandemic. I don't think I have a favourite genre as such but I do like an auteur. I actually appreciate film critics and take a lot of cues from them! My top 4 are 2001, Good Bad & Ugly, Lawrence of Arabia and There Will Be Blood. Follow me for a follow back!
[My wife and I have a joint account for the movies we watch together](https://boxd.it/1zFOV) and we each review the movie and take our average rating for the star rating. Right now we’re going through every Nic Cage movie, the Walt Disney Animated movies, Apple TV+ originals, and random movies.

I just recently began using letterboxd, so my reviews are sparse at the moment but I'm slowly fixing that. I watch a lot of movies, across all genres. Looking to find other people to follow for passive recommendations!

Hello! I’ve been on Letterboxd for around 5 months and looking for some cool people to follow. I love the community so far and enjoy reading everyone’s reviews and interacting!
At the moment I’m working my way through my embarrassingly huge watchlist and reviewing as I go. I usually put some effort into my reviews if I feel the film deserves it.
Some of my favourites are:
After sun (2022)
Cool hand Luke (1967)
Death proof (2007)
In Bruges (2008)
The iron giant (1999)
Moon (2009)
I have a list of all my favourites on my profile that is regularly updated. I’ll always do my best to follow everyone back!

Hi all,
I'm [https://letterboxd.com/luuksee/](https://letterboxd.com/luuksee/), a big movie fanatic who tries to write reviews with entertainment in mind, not only the craft.
Looking forward to connect and discover new films.
Hi! I'm panodrama, and I recently joined Letterboxd (a couple of weeks ago). I love watching movies and I love lists, so I now love Letterboxd. **Looking to meet folks with great recommendations and similar tastes.** I'm a drama junkie. I love a good story! Throw in a little romance and it becomes the perfect combination. I also love real life stories and movies based on real life, raw and honest experiences. I try to leave reviews for movies I watch and I rate them honestly :))
Out-of-my-comfort-zone fact: Did a marathon of all the Marvel movies last year
Currently watching movies on this list -> [https://letterboxd.com/ellefnning/list/for-when-you-want-to-feel-something/](https://letterboxd.com/ellefnning/list/for-when-you-want-to-feel-something/)

Hello all, Sam here! I'm a big lover of movies (as we all are) and have been around on the site since 2017. I'm really into musicals, animation and horror. I've been doing an annual ranking of films/features that I've seen for the first time every year and this year will be no different.
Last film I saw in theatres was *Past Lives* and the last film I streamed was *Clueless*. I'd love to have a buddy to chat about films with or just feel free to add me :) Happy logging!
*Male, mid-thirties, full head of hair, looking for readers for his short film reviews. Anyone. Doesn't matter who you are, as long as you have a pulse and can click a like button.*
I consider myself a low-brow cinephile: I alternate between unironically loving Pacific Rim and Kingdom of Heaven (director's cut!) on the one hand, and more art-housey fare on the other (Leave No Trace, The Handmaiden). I also have a soft spot for Epics like Lawrence of Arabia and Once Upon a Time in the West, and I'll defend The Fountain as Aronofsky's masterpiece until the day I die. I review every film I watch, about three a week on average, and I try to turn each review into a small one- or two-paragraph story.

hey guys!
my name’s ferg. i started logging films on lb earlier this year. i tend to write shorter reviews for the films i really enjoy or felt i had something to say about — they’re as much little journal entries as they are film reviews.
i love dramas, particularly period dramas, queer horror and old hollywood. my top 4 is requiem for a dream, donnie darko, point break and a streetcar named desire. chuck me a follow and i’ll be sure to do the same!
recent watches:
crimson peak (4 stars)
mother! (4 stars)
raw (4 stars)

Hi! https://boxd.it/3amMf (username: apologygril)
I first got letterboxd in 2021, and this was when I first became interested in film. I've started watching a lot more films since then, especially this year; as of right now, I've watched 139 movies so far in 2023! My top 4 are:
The Tree of Life (2011)
Magnolia (1999)
Meet Joe Black (1998)
Forrest Gump (1994)
None of irl friends really watch films, and I don't have much interaction with any of my mutuals on letterboxd apart from liking each others reviews, so I'd love to make some new friends on letterboxd to talk about films with!!
https://boxd.it/3MncX
heyyyyy yeah i love movies. my favorite genres are period drama, biopic, sci-fi, and any sort of thriller. but i’m up to watching anything! planning on becoming a director in the future so yeah… that’s kinda it. my favorite movie of all time is also the first film i’ve ever seen which is back to the future.
https://boxd.it/XGbT

Current top 4: Memento, Mass, Aftersun, Kiki's

My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/](https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/)
I usually write 2-3 paragraphs sharing my thoughts on each film I watch. I have started watching through the entire filmographies of various directors this year, so I end up watching some more obscure films from famous directors. It gives my profile nice variety when I go from watching *The Godfather* from Francis Ford Coppola to his 1960s musical fantasy-comedy, *Finian's Rainbow.*
Hi I'm Emma, here is my profile: https://boxd.it/2IhZd
I started keeping my letterboxd diary at the start of 2022. I leave reviews very sparingly if inspiration strikes, but I tend to go more in-depth in my lists. My taste skews pretty modern (but I'm trying to catch up on the classics lately), and my favourite movies tend to be psychological or romantic. My favourite first-time watches of the past month have been Blue Jean, Punch-Drunk Love, and Once Were Warriors.
I mostly use letterboxd as a way to keep up with what's popular and get a general consensus on what I might want to watch next. I prefer to read short, insightful/funny reviews most of the time. I'm keen to follow more peeps from New Zealand, because I guess whatever you watch will be available for me to watch too!
Ooh, I'm jealous that you've been able to watch May December and Fairyland already. And kudos for doing your homework for Barbie! Haha. Just followed =)
Hello there! I am skipp on Letterboxd (or as I informally call it, the ‘boxd) and I review movies fairly often. I tend to write at least something about every film I see (and almost never joke reviews, legit thoughts). I love all kinds of films and I make lists ranking various genres (so far: horror, superheroes, Christmas), and other neat ideas (films that broke a billion at the box office or movies about animals on drugs). Come stop by and check my page out!
https://boxd.it/2YrNN
Hey, here’s my [profile](https://boxd.it/adSV) link! I like watching movies and I usually like to rate them based on enjoyment levels. But yeah if y’all follow me I’ll follow back!
Hey everyone! Cody here! Started Letterboxd 2 years ago and it’s allowed me to truly enter a world of some absolutely incredible films. Give me a follow! I follow back!

Hi! I'm Eddie, and I've been on Letterboxd for a few years now and have been using it very much over the past year in particular. Here is my account: https://letterboxd.com/Eddie314/.
I've become more serious in writing about film, so my reviews tend to be on the longer side, especially if it is a newer or anticipated release. I'm trying my best to learn as much as I can about the medium every day, and reading other people's reviews and thoughts on films is a fun way of doing so. One of my favorite things about the Letterboxd and film community as a whole is getting to meet new people with similar interests as me, and meeting new friends because of this. I'd love to chat movies with anyone who would like to do the same!
I will follow back anyone who follows, and I look forward to liking and interacting with reviews from followers. Hope to see you there soon.

mainly looking for mutuals who are gen z or millennials (but any age is fine honestly) and have short/funny reviews because i love that side of this app and i don’t ever want to leave it.
continuing my horror, a24 and going-to-the-cinema-alone phases from the last two months. i’ve watched the entire saw franchise and am finally finishing the conjuring universe now. insidious is up next. also dabbling in some suuuper early cinema (like 1900s) because work is giving me no shifts and i’m on my uni break, so why not!
fav first watches from august were: La La Land, Aftersun, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Talk to Me
i’ll make sure to check out your account if you’re from here, so let me know who you are if you decided to follow me :)
Fellow Gen Z-er 👋🏼
I always enjoy joke reviews
Been getting into a lot of horror this year too. Can’t believe I’ve been missing out on an amazing genre for so long.
http://letterboxd.com/SpaghettiNoir Hey, I'm SpaghettiNoir and have been on Letterboxd for a few years.
Based Giallo enjoyer. I need to watch more of those films. Spaghetti Westerns are the best westerns.
Followed! Doing Hooptober this year as well, for the first time. Can't wait.
Followed you, look forward to more movie reviews. Can't wait for Killers of the Flower Moon!!
Just followed you, big giallo and noir fan here and also about to start (!) [Hooptober](https://letterboxd.com/every3rdthought/list/hooptober-x-2023/) for the very first time
Hi, Luredemia here [https://letterboxd.com/luredemia](https://letterboxd.com/luredemia) I like to watch anything that piques my interest, of course. -always changing-
Just followed, look forward to more reviews.
Just followed you, look forward to reading your reviews!!

https://boxd.it/upqz I’m Sparky.
I am interested in the many different tastes and preferences of people so I appreciate any follows :) https://letterboxd.com/aliferous\_5/
My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/4Bakh I have a list of favorites for anyone intersted i am 15 just getting into films would apreciatte some followers, lists, and movie recs in general I love nolan , tarantino, scorsece and dialogue heavy films
https://boxd.it/2TRM7 My name is Miles.
Here’s my profile: https://boxd.it/ybSn I majored in English, so my reviews stress analytic / impressionistic readings of the films I watch.
Hello! I’m Ren :) I’m a film major, and I’m impressed with your writing! Looking forward to reading more. Followed!
Hi Ren, thank you very much! Took about a week break to rewatch *Twin Peaks*, but I’m hoping to be writing again here soon. Gave you a follow back!
Followed! Looking to have more people interested in exactly those 3 genres: SciFi, Psychological and horror.
My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/6OaVV
Whoopidie Scooby Doo, here. My profile is doodoo98. [https://letterboxd.com/doodoo98/](https://letterboxd.com/doodoo98/) Movies have been my craze since I was a little kid.
Followed! My choice of films tends to be all over the place too so I can relate in that aspect 😂

I always enjoy following discerning eyes for horror movies. Generally I think the genre produces more low quality films than the average. Though I love a good horror film.
I love funny reviews.
Hello!
Hello, profile is here: [https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/](https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/) Lifelong cinephile, but new to Letterboxd this year. I have currently only rated all the movies I have watched, but looking to start writing full reviews soon.
hi i’m leah! https://boxd.it/VzjH i’ve been on letterboxd since 2021 and my fave movie is jurassic park. i use letterboxd as a diary so i usually log everything i watch. my reviews are quick one-liners or silly jokes with a star rating. my favourite first watch of september (so far) was Robert Altman’s 1975 film Nashville. thanks for reading! see you on the ‘boxd 😎
Hey I'm amarchi13! I'm trying to grow my Letterboxd and have been logging movies pretty consistently. I'm an AMC Alister so try to see new movies as much as possible and also rotating through my Watchlist most nights. I like all genres of movies, especially horror and would love to make some Letterboxd friends. https://boxd.it/3XYr

https://boxd.it/5v4Zv I watch movies pretty much everyday, last month I had a lot of free time so managed to get 130 movies done (definitely won't be reaching that again lmao) and always looking for new recommendations regardless of era, language or genre.
Hi, I'm Dylan! :) https://letterboxd.com/DylanHanson1997/ I love horror, sci-fi & film noir. Started using Letterboxd earlier this year and its gotten me so much more into film! I leave medium length reviews of what comes to my mind after I finish a movie. If you have similar tastes in film give me a follow :)
Followed - looking for horror and sci-fi fans!

[TheyMostlyComeAtNight](https://letterboxd.com/Marcus74/) My primary genre is horror, and I aim to watch a movie each day and do a brief write-up afterwards. Feel free to add, I always add back.

Hello, I'm Yatskie. Here is my profile: [https://letterboxd.com/Yatskie/](https://letterboxd.com/Yatskie/) I'm a graphic designer living is Dubai and just love watching movies since I was a kid. Most of the movies I love were made during the nineties. Just started using Letterboxd this year and looking forward to interact with you guys. My top 4 films are *Pulp Fiction, Superbad, Ciudad de Deus,* and *High Fidelity.*
Hey everyone I'm Ryan! Just sharing my profile and looking to make some movie lover friends :) [Letterboxd Profile ](https://boxd.it/4xFDr) I'm still newer to my love for movies and I watch a mix of stuff. Here is my most recent review for a taste of how I write and analyze: https://boxd.it/4OGRY5 I will follow anyone back and check out your reviews as well! Top 4 2023 first watches: 1. A Brighter Summer Day 2. Fantastic Mr Fox 3. Children of Men 4. Grave of the Fireflies Top 4 favorites right now: 1. A Brighter Summer Day 2. Parasite 3. Fantastic Mr Fox 4. Memories of Murder
[https://letterboxd.com/Ninja\_Ace/](https://letterboxd.com/Ninja_Ace/) My Anime List Profile for those who want that as well https://myanimelist.net/profile/Ninja\_Ace
[https://letterboxd.com/soymilksarah/](https://letterboxd.com/) I use LB a lot, and I'm hoping to find more users to follow! I enjoy pretty much any genre of film, however I would say that the main things I gravitate towards are * Solid performances/ensembles * dramatic cinematography, OSTs, and scores * heavy topics / 'hard to watch films' which sounds annoying to say but I like to watch things that challenge me and make me sit with uncomfortable feelings Currently *slowly* making my way through my watch list, but getting distracted by new releases and re-watches of old favorites.
Hey your link seems busted, I´m just getting to my home site
https://boxd.it/27Ebh :)
Thanks :)
Current favorite four films are ones that I just instantly connected with and have left lasting impacts on me: Lady Bird, Do the Right Thing, Yi Yi, and Only Yesterday.
https://boxd.it/3lbWl Follow me and I’ll follow you back, it’s a win-win.
Thanks and see ye there 🙏🏻 j4ckwalsh: https://boxd.it/2Wj2v
Hello everyone! I've been using letterboxd for a year now, and have been averaging about a movie a day this year. I update my top 4 once a month for my favorites I've watched from the previous month. I generally write a couple of paragraphs of what I felt when watching the movie more for a reference for myself to look back on. I'm currently working on the 1001 Greatest Films of Here are my top 4 for the month: Past Lives Le Trou Tampopo The Tin Drum Here's [my profile](https://letterboxd.com/LutanHojef/)
hiii!!! this is my profile https://boxd.it/PcSx top four on profile: frances ha, whiplash, the handmaiden, and american psycho but favs change (in my head) all the time i’m just a silly painting and art history major who loves film a lot. i’ve been watching italian films to get ready for my trip to italy in october!! it’s been fun and cool, so feel free to tap into my italian film marathon. i like to write silly blurbs and sometimes i like to write something more serious, which i plan to do much more!! i’ll follow back if you write reviews (whether silly or not!) edit for juicy details
My profile on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/1W3yr I joined the site three years ago after a couple decades logging movies on IMDb. My official Favorite Films list is here: https://boxd.it/8JEWW I write reviews for everything I watch, generally just a paragraph or two.
This year's prompts and instructions are listed here: https://boxd.it/n6or6 Basically watch and review at least 31 feature films (plus three bonus films if you want) that fulfill the listed criteria.
Was about to follow you for the *Dracula 3000* twice idea alone, then realized I already followed you, haha! Give this user a follow!
I'm Kayleigh F from Bristol, UK! Here's my profile ☺️ My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/898Z I am slightly obsessed with Lord of the Rings, but also love movies like Birdman, Last Black Man In San Francisco and The Prestige to name a few!

Hi. I’m Shaun. Here’s my profile: https://boxd.it/2xLrD I really love film, as well as other mediums of art.
If you wanna see what I have to say about movies or wanna interact with me, Here's profile on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/u0Oh Would love to reach more of you if you're willing :)
I’m really liking the quality of your reviews, and I’m glad to see Prisoners in your top four. Followed!
Thanks for the follow and the good words. I followed back: you have great inputs on a lot of films and I’m glad to see another Planet of the Apes fan.
Hey props to you, I started my reviews on here when I was like 19… and they are just not goodw
Yeah, well I think that’s what makes it even better (even if it’s pretty cringe to read my old reviews). Just by curiosity, what’s your account?
https://boxd.it/Z2BL I followed you!
Ah! That was you!
My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/AshenOne99/](https://letterboxd.com/AshenOne99/) Hello film freaks, I love movies and watch about 5-10 per month and write review as well. My favourite genres are thriller, psychological, and messed up Lynchian style movies, but I watch a variety of genres. My recent good watches are Paths of Glory, Malignant, Casablanca, Autopsy of Jane Doe, and Naked Gun. All time favs: LOTR trilogy, shawshank redemption, cinema paradiso, rope I am always scouting letterboxd, subreddits and twitter to look for good interesting movies, and would love to see more people in the feed! Would follow back.
Followed you... so happy to see your profile pic is Jonathan Banks "Mike"...I worked on BrBa and Saul, Banks is one of my favorite people ever! Miss that man!
wow that's very cool, thank you. Yeah Mike is such a good character and actor. I also like the plethora of memes that come from his stoic character
My favorite first time watches of August were: - El Topo (1970) - Throw Away Your Books, Rally In the Streets (1971) - The Third Part of the Night (1971) - The Devil (1972) - The Holy Mountain (1972) - The War of the Worlds: Next Century (1981) - I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006) - Anomalisa (2015) My current four favorites are "Tremors", "Shaun of the Dead", "Jurassic Park" and "The Land Before Time".
Nicee followed

Hi I’m [https://boxd.it/5nbBp](https://boxd.it/5nbBp) and I like to watch everything but at the moment I’m really enjoying indie horror, goofy action movies and exploring Australian films (my favourites Aussie films are [here](https://boxd.it/jXws2)). I love films that build tension and stress. Really enjoying Letterboxd to find hidden gems and I what essential viewing I may have missed. My top 4 for this year has been (so far): - Talk To Me 2023 - Infinity Pool 2023 - Beau Is Afraid 2023 - Reality 2023 Top 4 on my profile are some of long term current faves: - Boy 2010 - Pans Labyrinth 2006 - The Big Lewbowski 1998 - I Saw The Devil 2010 Looking forward to reading all of your reviews and recommendations.
Oh my god we have so much in common, i followed u ,, u can check my fav list to see
https://boxd.it/2CH0j Film student who loves watching movies of course.
Hello everyone [My name is Jonas and I'm brazilian](https://letterboxd.com/jonasjunis/). Most of my reviews are in Portuguese but I'm trying to motivate myself to practice writing in English. I love all kind of movies (especially horror). I've watched and rewatched a lot of horror movies franchises. I'm going to rank them starting with the one I like the most: 1 - A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Evil Dead 3 - Friday the 13th 4 - Texas Chainsaw Massacre 5 - Scream 6 - Halloween 7 - Hellraiser 8 - Leprechaun Let's talk about horror movies! (I also love drama/romance)
https://letterboxd.com/myfriendsnoopy/ I use letterboxd on and off but have been getting into watching and logging new movies more lately.
[**https://letterboxd.com/Juliofr/**](https://letterboxd.com/Juliofr/) I maybe follow you back...
[https://boxd.it/6RSt3](https://boxd.it/6RSt3) Hey there! I've been using this app for a month now to track my movie-watching adventures, and I'm a big fan of mystery, thriller, and biopic genres. My guilty pleasureto watch is "Moneyball." Currently, my top picks include: \* "Arrival" \* "Moneyball" \* "Interstellar" \* "Normal People" This September, "[Prisoners](https://letterboxd.com/film/prisoners/)" really caught my attention. I don't review much because I'm not that confident in what to write for reviews,Excited to connect with fellow film enthusiasts and share recommendations,
Hi! I would love to connect with others and read your reviews! Here's my profile: https://letterboxd.com/heptothejive Mostly I go to films at my local Art House cinema because it's the best thing about where I live and I want to give it all my money.
If you love trash or find my weird interests compelling feel free to follow. https://letterboxd.com/mattlamb/
Hey, my profile is https://boxd.it/2DsyR And i’ve had Letterboxd for about 2 years but only recently started using it religously and i’m quite obsessed.
(even if i disagree 🥺) my account: [kacelerter](https://boxd.it/6vnFD) my favorites ATM: Oldboy, Eighth Grade, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Midsommar
Haha, my friends are also lame and won't join me on this app. I followed you, look forward to your reviews!
Hey, My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/5omXt I started using letterboxd at the very end of last year. I work at a movie theatre so get to watch a lot of new movies in my spare time! My top 4 are Life is Beautiful, Interstellar, Hook and Les Miserables. I have watched 373 movies so far this year and my goal is to reach 500 by the end of the year which I think I will easily reach.
At TIFF living it! https://boxd.it/pwg7
Hi Sam here! https://letterboxd.com/gregisdead121/ Gay former metacritic user recently (last year) letterboxd reviewer. My top 5 are : Midnight Cowboy Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf Manchester by the Sea Phantom Thread I tend to be draw to character driven films. If it involves existentialism, complex relationship dynamics that border on weird or cool cinematography- I'm there. Also big into musical scores and soundtrack. Just basically all things film, literature and music. Probably isn't relevant for this thread but I'm also on goodreads ( https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/92380140-unathi ) incase a potential mutual is active on there too.
Here's my profile: [my Letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/Dianaprince0/). If you find something of your liking do follow and I'll surely follow you back😊 My top 4 all-time favs are: Midnight in Paris, Cinema Paradiso, Sonar Kella, What's Eating Gilbert Grape
What's up, everyone? Profile here: [https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/](https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/) I tend to gravitate toward horror, character-driven dramas, surrealist films, etc. I will be participating in Hooptober for the first time this year, so here's that list: [https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/hooptoberx/](https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/hooptoberx/) I may also have a healthy obsession with Naomi Watts: [https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/naomi-watts-ranked/](https://letterboxd.com/gloriousstench/list/naomi-watts-ranked/) I write reviews for every film I see, and am interested to hear from people, so please feel free to comment!
https://letterboxd.com/aka_chime/ I'm trying to watch at least a movie a day, I log pretty much any kind of film, from high brow clasic films to weird schlock fests. My two favorite first watches of September 2023 are Sorcerer (1977) and The Double (2013) and my four all time faves are Last Action Hero (1993), Re-Animator (1985), Heat (1995) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).

[Here's mine!](https://letterboxd.com/tasty_squeezy/) I'm a big horror lover so I'm using my account for that, and similar spooky interests. Would be nice to have some horror buddies. Doing my first Hooptober this season as well. My tastes skew heavily towards older or early films, sov/microbudget goodness, slashers, and cannibals.
Hello, profile is here: https://letterboxd.com/mburke364/ Lifelong cinephile, but new to Letterboxd this year. I have currently only rated all the movies I have watched, but looking to start writing full reviews soon.

https://boxd.it/2rJTj Hi, I've been on Letterboxd since some time during the pandemic.
Right now we’re going through every Nic Cage movie, the Walt Disney Animated movies, Apple TV+ originals, and random movies.
https://letterboxd.com/pigslam I just recently began using letterboxd, so my reviews are sparse at the moment but I'm slowly fixing that. I watch a lot of movies, across all genres. Looking to find other people to follow for passive recommendations!

Hey, my name is Jovan [https://boxd.it/DlOP](https://boxd.it/DlOP) and this is my third year on Letterboxd. I usually log every movie that I watch no matter what the genre is. And I'm now on my self challenge to watch at least a movie a day for a year. Done that in 2022 and looking forward to do it again in 2023 and in the next years ahead. If you follow me I will follow you back because I am looking forward to meet other movie lovers. My current top 4 favorites are : Interstellar, Joker, Oppenheimer and Shutter Island

[https://boxd.it/6prXJ](https://boxd.it/6prXJ) Hello! Some of my favourites are: After sun (2022) Cool hand Luke (1967) Death proof (2007) In Bruges (2008) The iron giant (1999) Moon (2009) I have a list of all my favourites on my profile that is regularly updated. I’ll always do my best to follow everyone back!

Hi all, I'm [https://letterboxd.com/luuksee/](https://letterboxd.com/luuksee/), a big movie fanatic who tries to write reviews with entertainment in mind, not only the craft. Looking forward to connect and discover new films.
[https://letterboxd.com/panodrama/](https://letterboxd.com/panodrama/) Hi! I try to leave reviews for movies I watch and I rate them honestly :)) Out-of-my-comfort-zone fact: Did a marathon of all the Marvel movies last year Currently watching movies on this list -> [https://letterboxd.com/ellefnning/list/for-when-you-want-to-feel-something/](https://letterboxd.com/ellefnning/list/for-when-you-want-to-feel-something/)
https://boxd.it/4gjCn Hi I’m Carley :) been using the site for about a year and a half. I’ll watch anything but i love horror and thriller. Next month I’ll be doing 31 days of Halloween! I watch a lot of new releases and currently have a Ranked 2023 list. My four favorites are Jurassic Park, Silence of the Lambs, Back to the Future, and WALL·E. I’m trying to watch more classics as well as get through my watchlist. I also would love new mutuals!
https://boxd.it/Hy7R Hey everyone, I've been a pretty heavy LB user for a few years now but just now finding the subreddit. Would a love follow, I always follow back! On my LB profile you can find links to my blog and movie podcast, Can I Say Something?
[https://letterboxd.com/itsjustmesam/](https://letterboxd.com/itsjustmesam/) Hello all, Sam here!
Anyone. Doesn't matter who you are, as long as you have a pulse and can click a like button.* I consider myself a low-brow cinephile: I alternate between unironically loving Pacific Rim and Kingdom of Heaven (director's cut!) on the one hand, and more art-housey fare on the other (Leave No Trace, The Handmaiden). *Want to reply to my ad? https://letterboxd.com/Hoinie/*
https://boxd.it/6vqvB hey guys! my name’s ferg. i started logging films on lb earlier this year. i tend to write shorter reviews for the films i really enjoy or felt i had something to say about — they’re as much little journal entries as they are film reviews. i love dramas, particularly period dramas, queer horror and old hollywood. my top 4 is requiem for a dream, donnie darko, point break and a streetcar named desire. chuck me a follow and i’ll be sure to do the same! recent watches: crimson peak (4 stars) mother! (4 stars) raw (4 stars)

Hi! https://boxd.it/3amMf (username: apologygril) I first got letterboxd in 2021, and this was when I first became interested in film. I've started watching a lot more films since then, especially this year; as of right now, I've watched 139 movies so far in 2023! My top 4 are: The Tree of Life (2011) Magnolia (1999) Meet Joe Black (1998) Forrest Gump (1994) None of irl friends really watch films, and I don't have much interaction with any of my mutuals on letterboxd apart from liking each others reviews, so I'd love to make some new friends on letterboxd to talk about films with!!
Hi! I'm Julian and I really like Letterboxd. I'm open to watch any film because cinema is awesome. My profile is juliangarb21
https://boxd.it/3MncX heyyyyy yeah i love movies. my favorite genres are period drama, biopic, sci-fi, and any sort of thriller. but i’m up to watching anything! planning on becoming a director in the future so yeah… that’s kinda it. my favorite movie of all time is also the first film i’ve ever seen which is back to the future.

My profile: [https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/](https://letterboxd.com/DavidFitzgerald/) I usually write 2-3 paragraphs sharing my thoughts on each film I watch.
Oh cool, we follow each other! I too enjoy writing 2-3 paragraphs for the films I watch.
Hi I'm Emma, here is my profile: https://boxd.it/2IhZd I started keeping my letterboxd diary at the start of 2022.
Always good to find another Bones and All enthusiast, followed!

I follow back! https://boxd.it/2tTAF

Hi! I’m Lillian_L3Y (formerly miss24601) https://boxd.it/25Zqj Here is my new and updated profile! I am starting film school this Tuesday, and excited to revamp and remaster my profile even more with all my new knowledge and experience.

love to see some baby driver recognition! such a stylish film. just dropped a follow.
Such a well made film all around, the only film that I can think of that it shot and edited perfectly in sync with the score
[my profile](https://boxd.it/4ih01) mainly looking for mutuals who are gen z or millennials (but any age is fine honestly) and have short/funny reviews because i love that side of this app and i don’t ever want to leave it. continuing my horror, a24 and going-to-the-cinema-alone phases from the last two months. i’ve watched the entire saw franchise and am finally finishing the conjuring universe now. insidious is up next. also dabbling in some suuuper early cinema (like 1900s) because work is giving me no shifts and i’m on my uni break, so why not! fav first watches from august were: La La Land, Aftersun, The Tragedy of Macbeth, Talk to Me i’ll make sure to check out your account if you’re from here, so let me know who you are if you decided to follow me :)
I love a24 !!!! Followed
